I forgot to add X-Files (my daughter used to hide in her room when the music would start playing because it scared her). And how in the world did I not add Buck Rogers?! My dad used to make all sorts of fun of that show when I was watching and I did. not. care! lol Same with the Six Million Dollar Man and I was JUST thinking about Max Headroom like a week ago, how funny. Oh god... it's all coming back to me now. Knight Rider, Automan, Alien Nation, Quantum Leap... :'( *hold me**pats Hrungr* I loved Quantam Leap and Knight Rider! We must be close in age. Nah, I'm probably WAY older, lol!

Ah, I did like the Battlestar Galactica remake up until the last two seasons, then it just became meh. Andromeda was okay as well.

I originally gave up on it after season 1...but now, I have re-visited it on netflix within the past 4 months...You know what?...it holds up amazingly well, not to mention I thing it needs its own re-boot on the SyFy channel.

I'm gonna have to add RoboCop as well. Edge was good too but not quite in that top tier for me. Also adding Lockout starring Guy Pierce. That movie was the Commander Shepard test run in the same vein that Ryan Reynolds in Blade 3 was the Deadpool test run.

" I'd buy that for a dollar" ...Old school Robocop.....you guys really know your stuff.. I am saying the same thing with this one... " Can I please get a brand new 6000 SUX car.." .....god damn...Peter Weller..amazing performance....He is onr of my all time favorite actors because of Robocop.....Penny Dreadful...mother of god.. I only started watching it when it appeared out of nowhere on Netflix..like you guys..it hooked me almost instantly ..Eva Green..especially when she got possessed...hilarious / amazing.. 10 /10 for that show. Edge of Tomorrow...aka Tom Cruise's groundhog day..I could not stop laughing at how many ways he went out..obviously, like you guys, we all know who stood out and that was Emily Blunt...man..her performance blew me away and was the only reason ( other than Cruise dying 1000 different ways ) ..is why I hung out to the end. My honest opinion...Emily should have been the leader of the brand new Ghostbusters.

I thought Edge of Tomorrow was Tom Cruise playing a Sci-Fi Dark Souls clone... learn enemy pattern, move on. But yep, Emily Blunt stole every scene she was in. EDIT: and yeah, Eva Green. I'm looking forward to Miss Peregrine's School for Unusual Children... because Eva Green.

Movies: Interstellar, Contact, Pacific Rim (weird right?), Star Trek movies (2, 4, 6, 3, 1, 5 for the originals, in that order; all the TNG era ones suck imo. I haven't rated the J.J.-verse ones), The Final Countdown, Starship Troopers, 2001,
Shows: Doctor Who (and its spinoffs), Star Trek (DS9, TOS, Voyager, and TNG, in that order), Jessica Jones, Fringe,
Honestly, I've seen so many Sci-fi shows and movies (and books, and games, etc.) that it's hard for me to rate a lot of them. This list is obviously incomplete for me. I'd have to really pick my own brain to figure what I might have missed.

Alien and Blade Runner were pretty good. The original Star Warses, ST TNG (I still hate Ens. Crusher tho). ST Voyager wasn't too bad as well as DS9.
Apart from that I prefer Sci-fi literature.

Oh, I knew I forgot something - the original V was great! Oh man, thank you for bringing V here !!!!! I LOVED THE SHOW ! I was in love for Martin (lol alien love already XDDDD) Freaking Diana killed him, I cried ;__; You guys who said V ...good shit guys, good shit. I was hoping someone would have brought up that show. The best mini-series I have ever seen is V: The Final Battle..... that was one of the series that got me into sci-fi. plus, those goddamn lizards with their voice box modulators reminded me of Garrus' voice. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Dalakaar, Killjoys...I have heard some things about it...what is the show about? also... V, the re-imagined series showed promise up until season 2 ...morena baccarin did everything she could to keep that show going...I do like Laura Vandervoort as an actress as well. Yeah the new serie wasn't that bad but Jane Balder, come on !!! nobody can beat her. Morena Baccarin was fine though. I will also name "Space: Above and Beyond" (called "space 2063" here) That TV show, nobody remember it... The beginning is slow but after a while it became wonderful (the wildcards ).

Not much of a TV person, but liked Star Trek and TNG in the old days.
Great SF movies that come to mind, some have already been mentioned above: 2001 (2010 is also pretty good) Blade Runner Alien Aliens Pitch Black Dark City Inception Matrix Star Wars 1-3 Terminator 1 & 2 Gattaca The Day the Earth Stood Still Solaris (both versions) Ghost in the Shell Akira The Fifth Element Invasion of the Body Snatchers Westworld
More recent ones I liked were Edge of Tomorrow, The Martian, Equilibrium, Oblivion and Ex Machina.

TV shows: Star Trek TNG, DS9. Don't care all that much for the others although enterprise was underrated, esp s4 Also Dr Who.
Movies: Star trek except 1,5 and Nemesis, which were godawful Star wars (not the prequels) The Martian was pretty good Interstellar was one of the most boring films I've ever seen
I thought Oblivion (mostly because Morgan Freeman) was great *runs away and hides*

"5th element" is quite a popular movie here, Luc Besson is one of our most popular movie maker ^^ That reminds me: I'm really looking forward to how Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets turns out. I always loved the comic books, and Mezieres & Besson is a proven combination.
