Meh These were the only 2 that stood out for me. Maybe I'd add more once I can associate them with a moment in game. Thanks, those definitely give me a more Mass Effect vibe, especially number 6, Neutron Purge seems to have some influences coming all the way from ME1. Numbers 1 and 4 from the OP seem a bit too symphonic and out of place with the setting as a whole, they're missing some Jarre influences, with odd beeps and pewpew sounds on the side if you ask me. By the way, did you find any danceclubs in Andromeda yet? I figure we won't find the music on the soundtrack disc again, but it'd be nice to hear some Afterlife style music again as well. Save

Nothing has stood out to me in the game so far. In fact, I don't remember any of it. Which is much different than the original trilogy, which had quite a few incredible and memorable tracks that were paired perfectly with the game.
I'm hoping it improves over time.

Not very impressive, I'm afraid. Whoever composed it is no Jack Wall or Sam Hulick. How it compares to the trilogy? Doesn't even come close to scratching the surface of the trilogy's soundtrack. Very uninspired. One of the first things that grab your attention when playing the trilogy for the first time is the music. In Andromeda, the music is pretty much the last thing you'd remember. Vigil stayed in my mind for months after starting ME1 for the first time (got really frustrated with the hideous inventory and didn't play past Eden Prime until months later). Well it's not fair to compare a soundtrack of a game we play several times and one of a game we have not played yet. The soundtrack is meant to amplify a scene (or a menu). If you listen to a soundtrack without knowing when this happen or in what context it is just weird. Take a sample of vigil (or any soundtrack ever) and make someone who never played mass effect listen to it. That is like telling someone the summary of something. If the person has not seen the movie, the game, the books...he won't be thrilled, same thing for a soundtrack. You have to live the experience else you lose half the interest. For instance the Andromeda briefing soundtrack is amazing because it burst out when we discover what the AI is about and you tell yourself "damn, that some impressive project they have".

There's a least a bunch of tracks I really liked. And I've seen a bunch of scenes throughout the full game and I like how a lot of things fit. Biggest annoyance for me is the more subtle track playing when talking to NPCs (Nexus? Tempest?). Doesn't really fit IMO. I think it works enough. However, the bigger thing on my mind is seeing what they do with this overall style in DLC content, and using what it adds to the 'mosaic' of ME OSTs in the next game. Its just 'good' in itself. I'm okay with that, as it really properly communicates this journey of the Heleus Cluster

My Virgo demigod listened to Vigil long before he played ME1, and he described it as "majestic". And I got the deluxe soundtrack, as well as the experience of the original trilogy when it comes to soundtracks. The trilogy soundtrack has kick, Andromeda soundtrack is feeble.

It seems that A Trail of Hope is the recurring theme throughout, which I approve of a great deal. The reprise of this theme in the final battle score is pretty epic, I think. It doesn't seem to be on the actual soundtrack though, which sucks. I wonder if they'll release a combat soundtrack like ME2.

Has anyone been able to extract the audio files for the radio in the Pathfinder's quarters?

Well after listening to few of these songs, i think they are absolutely all right. Somehow i have a feeling that people just like to bitch about the game no matter what.
