After some rumination and thought. The game is eh with loads of visible problems. I think the final metascore will be 70-74.
It will add more fuel to the fire.

After some of the gampleplay videos I really, really wanted to believe and I was thinking 87~91.
But now? I still believe it can deliver a great game, so 84~88 would be my vote if the option existed.

I'm actually happy there are so many complaints and possible bad reviews now polarizing the fan base. It'll suck for sales at first but It lowers the hype...at least for me a little. Which means I'll end up being pleasantly surprised because I have lower expectations.
I'm just glad we finally get to explore again and with a rover. I'm guessing 75-79. I'm thinking it will be on par with Dragon Age Inquisition overall (Better and worse in some cases) but the gaming community has higher standards now thanks to competition.

50 is mediocre, you know average. 79 rounding upto 80 is a good score. I am betting on 80 - 84. If Fallout 4 can get an 87 and Inquistion mostly the same, then this game should be around the same place. |

I think 86-100 is out of the cards at this point. Even if the game pulls a hail mary save with it's story in the later parts like ME1 did, there's just too many technical problems to ignore. The best they can hope for at this point is probably 85, though even I think that's unlikely. I see this getting somewhere in the 7s honestly. DA2 had the excuse of having a ridiculously short development time. There was no excuse for this one. It's sad, but Bioware should get called out on this by critics and players.

80s.
Critic may be 80s-90s, user may be 70s-80s.
Not GOTY but potentially one of the better games of the year, and a chance to be one of the best in certain categories.
I think its dropped the ball enough that if it gets GOTY anywhere I'll tell such publications to get the hell out. But I could be wrong (we only know the first 5-20 hours worth of SP gameplay, out of 30-100+?).
At the same time, there is the opportunity for Bioware to take this seriously and do substantial updates, most important fixes, and quality DLC that eventually produce what would have been in the running for GOTY 2017, but in 2018.
What I mean is, very basically, this can still be a great game, and user reviews may still proclaim that after the initial troll surge.
