I'm expecting an E3 2017 announcement in June.

For those that might be interested, Nordic Games has rebranded itself THQ Nordic to signify its decision to become a publisher known for actually publishing new games instead of releasing remasters and owning a portfolio of THQ's old IPs. They're said to have 13 unannounced games in development.

This means I might finally get that Darksiders sequel I wanted, plus they acquired the rights to one of my favorite capital ship space combat games, Nexus: The Jupiter Incident, so we could see a sequel there too. I'm optimistic with this development, anyone else?

Granpa Saikyo remembers when THQ was right up there with LJN as a company that released only awful games, usually movie tie-ins.

I think they started to turn it around when the got the WWF/WWE license in the 90s and realized they had to actually hire decent developers to keep the huge WWE fanbase happy.

Fun fact: Without wiki'ing it, I'm pretty sure THQ stands for Toy Headquarters.

Maybe I should just make a Darksiders thread, but this works for now.

The description describes Fury as a "mage" and seems to hint that her powers revolve around shapeshifting. The story is said to involve Fury fighting the Seven Deadly Sins (My guess would be demon generals of Lucifer?) and their minions on Earth.

Upside, Darksiders 3 is happening.

Downside, it looks like it's taking place in the century gap between the prologue of the first Darksiders and the rest of the game, so no continuation from the end of that game probably.

Still, as long as they don't screw up the lore somehow I'll probably be quite happy.
