32, same. Still act like I'm 7 on occasion as well. Occasionally I'm like "Wait... wasn't I 17 the other day?!" There have been time I completely forgot my age.

I'm 23 I'm moving out of my parent's house and starting my first full time job in the next two weeks, kinda nerve wracking. I'm going on 23 years at the same job. Just be patient with yourself and respect your employers . You'll do fine.

Good thing this isn't BSN Prime or you'd be in a lot of trouble. Dammit, it was epic when someone posted that (strictly speaking on the TOR forums, not BSN) and got banned for being under 13. BioWare 1, memes 0. OT, I have orbited the sun 38 times.

Curious about how old people here are. We had a similar thread in the old BSN, so recreating it here. I'm 41. Later this year, will turn 42, the answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything. How about you? Wow, some 40ish people here. Good to know.

i must admit i find it quite amusing that some people here are similar age or even older than my parents! (they are 47 and 50) I have always found that a sort of interesting mindset, to be honest. Is there a particular reason you (or anyone else who's young, feel free to chime in here) think games wouldn't be appealing to older folks? Or think there's a particular reason why you might "outgrow" gaming when you magically hit a certain age number? I'm asking out of curiosity, not being judgmental. I have heard some folks rag on my husband (he's 44) when he's playing GTAV online, some younger dudes asking isn't he a little old to be gaming. And I always think it weird because never, when I was a kid and teenager and in love with games, did I think I'd hit a certain age and suddenly have no interest in gaming anymore. No more so than I believe a certain age means I'd no longer enjoy reading or writing or fishing or any other hobby/leisure activity one enjoys. But video games seem to have that special perception. Maybe I'm just influenced by the household I grew up in - my Dad always gamed. And he still does, turning 60 in a few weeks. As for me, I plan to game until I literally, physically cannot do so anymore, if my hands ever reach that point. Life goal is to still be gaming long into a retirement home.

I may be 40 something but my mind is still in the 20s. Young kids at my work are into games and one of them was a wearing a Fallout shirt. I asked him if he was going to get Fallout 4. I told him I was taking the day it was released off so I could play it all day. He was surprised that a 40 something would be playing games. I was like, boy, I've been playing games since the Atari 2600 came out. Which I still have and the original Nintendo and Sega Genesis. And over the course of time after 2001, I've built five gaming computers for myself. I'm just an old kid that likes games.

And over the course of time after 2001, I've built five gaming computers for myself. I'm just an old kid that likes games. I hear ya! If it's a big game that I've been anticipating, I will schedule off that Tuesday-Friday of release week so that I can pick the game up at midnight and be able to immediately start playing it the moment I wake up on Tuesday. Everyone at work knows this, so anytime they see me scheduled off for four days like that, they ask me what's coming out. My Dad still has his Atari 2600 and Intellivision at the house - that's what he taught me to game on, plus a Commodore 64. The Commodore is long gone. The Atari and Intellivision may be too, sadly, but they lasted a loooooong time. At my house, the gaming collection starts with the Super Nintendo from my 9th birthday. Still works, still have all the cartridges - including the SNES ports of Doom (very slick red cartridge) and Wolfenstein 3-D. A lot of people don't believe those ports existed, but they do. I have sent actual photos of them to prove it... one was actually a game dev who was side-eyeing my claim! That's the oldest console I have on-hand. I had a Sega Genesis, but I think it finally died. Still got my PS3, an XBox 360, and a PS4... husband also has a PS3 and PS4. And my laptop can usually behave enough to play something not too demanding, like ME3MP or Civ 5. I don't push it further than that, though. LOL It's a gaming household. LOL

Add me to club 27. I think I feel a bit better knowing that most people on here are my age and older. For some reason I would have felt really immature and awkward if I found out that I was on here with a bunch of kids. Just to be clear, I'm not trying to imply that I'm not immature....because I totally am.

Well i tried to get my mum to play Civ 5, she doesn't like killing stuff (but watches awfully lot of murder mysteries, that's her thing i guess) so i thought it suits her, and lets say it was fun but she has a memory of a goldfish for those things and in the end it was bit too much for her xD of course my parents never played video games before and never really where interested, even my brother isnt and he is only 8 years older than me. And when my parents were younger video games weren't really even a thing (good ole communism..) Also im with you on the last point, in the retirement home ill still be playing some of the classics (if ill survive for that long xD)
