Does bioware really consider taking a Tempest break while doing eos out of order? There is no reason for me to hear Drack and PeeBee on the Tempest before I even meet them in game. Also Jaal brought up the roekaar and I have no idea what they are. And speaking of Angara, ryder has way to much familiarity with the mocha without ever being told what a mocha is. Sometimes ryder knows nothing and sounds like a moron, other times he knows more than the player which is poor. According to the guide you have to do things a certain way or things will proceed differently. You can explore all you want but certain things trigger/lockout other things. From what I hear not everyone has this. Which is not the issue. The problem is, that things get triggered when it doesn't make sense story wise... I'm frankly not willing to get guide for the game only to see how I'm supposed to play for the plot to make sense. If that's "working as intended", then it simply isn't working...

Sounds messy. Banter not happening on the worlds, banter happening on the Tempest with squadmates who don't exist, just, I don't even. And moving off the banter a bit, does anyone find it annoying to have SAM spam uselessly about multiplayer missions when ever you walk into that area at the same time the squad is trying to talk. APEX missions are useless, and it progresses really slow. Also doesn't reset for each Ryder so I have no intention on doing them.

What a mess.
As sucky as it is, and at least some sort of mark on Bioware's rep if they do this and get attention about it, they should use the next months/year to make this a working product because the mark otherwise will be so much worse.
We bought a beta. Plain and simple.

I'll let you know if I experience this bug or not but it sounds like people triggered a side mission that was meant for later that includes those people hence causing the bug.

I've also experienced some of these situations. Some of them could be fairly easily fixed by suppressing some things if certain conditions have not been met. In some other cases, they would need to write and record alternate content - which could potentially be done when the applicable VAs are in-studio to record for DLCs. While I still enjoy the game and think I will be playing for sometime, the more I play the more I get the same feeling I have when I play Elder Scrills Online. The feeling of who are these coders and why didn't they fix some of the simple things that help make a good game into a great game. Personally I'd blame QA... if testing isn't done properly, stuff like that doesn't even surface. Flaws of this nature are typically introduced during the writing/design phase. What should have happened is that the writers should have put more conditions on when this content (spoken lines, emails) would be presented in the game, and provided alternate content in some places. ETA: It's possible that they had initially planned to exert more control over the order in which the player completes content, and then dropped those plans for... reasons. Otherwise, it's pretty hard to believe that stuff like this would get through.
