Inquisition has a better all-round cast. Doesn't hurt that it has more companions either to be honest, especially if you're not fussed on one two of them. Andromeda definitely has more meaningful side quests (with better narrative rewards) and more fun combat though.
I'll need to actually get round to completing this thing, despite the ridiculous amount of hours I've put in, before I offer a more definitive comparison. Though that won't be long as the final confrontation is fast approaching by the looks of it.

I prefer it because I despise DAI's combat and it's slightly better when it comes to exploration (no shards ).

I prefer MEA because I prefer the ME IP to the DA IP. That said MEA does handle it's openish world gameplay better with questing that is more interesting and more relevant. So far I found their crafting systems fairly equal but DAI handles the squad better since you can actually customize them and have actual control of them in combat. I like both games but I think bioware needs to scale back on their ambitious giant area design.
