Listen to the Krogans, a pykak is good for target practice or lunch. According to Dracks emails Krogan respect them more tham Elcor.

It's really sad for the person who worked on Liam when 2/3 of people would rather have a pyjak than your character. =(

If the Pykak had a good loadout, I'd consider it. Liam has good powers, but the pyjak has a sharper, more tactical mind.

He also wrote ME1 Kaidan, whom I really like, and Sera (oh boy). He embraces the mixed reception, I suspect. Otherwise, why keep writing such odd characters, referencing Sera and Liam, specifically?

Giving a pyjak an AR is about as amusing as a youtube video of a monkey holding an AR. Take that for what you will.

Yeah that is Lukas style - He writes love em or hate em companions. He did write Minsc and Jolee though, which are both awesome.

Extremely well written for those early days. Lukas' characters are amazing. I may want to choke them, from time to time, but that's a testament to their believable personalities. I hope he remains a BioWare writer for as long as they're making games.

Yeah, Jolee is someone i didn't appreciate until much later. Back when i first played KotoR he got on my nerves constantly, and now he is probably my favourite Bioware character. He writes characters you feel something for, whether that is love or hate it is always there. I have a few friends that really dislike Sera, but i tried to turn that to a positive, atleast they felt something towards her. Feeling nothing would mean the character accomplished nothing. If they lose Lukas it will be a sad day.

Liam; not sure why, is just boring. Pyjak is clearly the quasi-biotic Yoda of ME. A pyjak would make as much sense as his zippered environmental suit (that looks like a fancy potato sack).

If they lose Lukas it will be a sad day. Yeah, I don't want to turn this into a Sera thread, but she's amazingly written and acted. I'd have a hard time tolerating her in real life, but she's deep and consistent. I think the problem was that you can run into huge issues with her nearly immediately, if you take exception to her pummeling that noble to death. I have to RP that a bit out of character, in order to get off to a decent start with her. Man, Lukas' characters are as alive as a written character can be.

Nope to the Pyjak! Liam is pretty damn good as a squadmate and always has my back, and he's also my Sara's bro and Jaal's best friend. Wouldn't trade him for anything!

If you had the option, wouldn't you take the pyjak? At least once? Out of curiosity, if nothing else. It's like trying to get your dog to be your champion at the Landsmeet. It's so stupid that you have to try it out for yourself!

That depends, can I pretend I'm on Eletania again and run over the Pyjak? Especially since the one in Andromeda is freakishly large.
