Finishing up the campaign in For Honor and occasionally kicking ass in duel mode. I still suck at Dominion. I love this game. I hope Ubisoft builds on what they have here. This is the best melee combat I've encountered.

Finished AR-K: The Great Escape. It was fun. Would have liked if there was a hotspot button (or knowing which button it was if it was in the game already) but otherwise it was quite good. And it had Tali's voice actor. That was nice.

Was invited to war, in Stellaris. I thought I was going to war with one empire, but found out it was another empire instead. Aparently, one of my neighbors, who was the one I was eying to start a war with, is also at war with them. So we now have a common enemy. But, I'm not sure about the long term plans of my empire. After this war is over, I haven't actually conqured anyone yet. I've colonized planets that had indiginous life, that I enslaved. But I haven't actually tried to bring others under my rule by force yet. And the one empire I was looking to do that with, joined an aliance. So if I start shit with them, I start shit with ALOT of other people. I might be able to take on one or two, but not 5 different empires.
Not sure what I'm going to do just yet, but I think I need to up my research game, and start seriously investing in research. Just to stay ahead of the curve.

I visited the city Meridian now this is what a city should look like it's full of life and pretty big. Also did some main/side quests and i bought myself some new armor and a cool weapon. This game sucked me in it's like it's me walking there and talking to people and taking down those machines.

I built up a base, on the first island, in Evil Genius.
I used the early game exploit to fill my coffers up to 8 mil. Now waiting for the heat to die down, before I advance the plot.

I've been totally sucked in by horizon zero dawn lately. Just love exploring the world, and how it flows from gorgeous jungles to harsh deserts to snowy mountains. Doesn't hurt that game play is pretty damn fun too. Few of my latest shots

But here is a screenshot of the entrance and i also climbed on top of one of those Tallnecks so that's two left to go.

Played some world in conflict. Its kinda...underwhelming. I'm playing the gog version. And, visually, its very impressive. I looked it up, and that game came out 7 some odd years ago. And it still looks damn good.
The story is...meh. And the rts mechanics are interesting, but I wouldn't call them amazing or anything.
Played some more evil genius. Saved up 8.8 mil, before continuing the story. Started working on a hotel to keep those dang pesky tourists out of my freaking base. idk how they're getting past the traps and doors, but they are and its annoying. Ofc, the game crashed before I could finish building the hotel, so now I have to reload tomorrow and try again. Its odd too, because thats the first crash I've ever had on the gog version of the game.

I'm trying to get Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Wake of Gods' TCP/IP work to play with my friend online. So far it's a massive headache... I don't know anything about the game in question, but I am a network tech. Whats giving you trouble? Today I built my hotel in evil genius. I have to look it up and see if it gives you revenue, or if its just there to keep the tourists out of your hair. If its just the latter, then it seems like a giant money sink for that purpose. If its the former, then I might have a bug. Because I don't think i'm getting any revenue from the hotel atm. I also started working on my inner sanctum, and moving my power room further into the base. My main room was too hap hazard for my linking So I'm trying to get my power generators in a better layout. The only concern I have is the long walk my techs need to do, to get there. So I may wind up moving them back, just in a better lay out. We'll see. I also fired up KotOR, and got off Tarris. And started my jedi training. Currently wandering around with Zalbaar, and Canderous. My goal is to get the mission the council gives you done, with them in tow. Earn Zalbaar's trust, and get him to open up a bit. And I figure canderous would give me a great laugh, when I encountered the mandelorian leader . So far he has given me some dark chuckles. I'm also pumping alot of points into my personal persuasion skill. My goal is to pass that very tough speech check, at the end of the game. Right now my charisma is at 17. I'm going to up it to 18, then start diversifying my other skills a bit. I want to get my wisdom up a fair amount. Something like 16, then increase my dex a bit too. Oh, and I went sentinel this time around.

Yesterday I finally purchased a game I've been aware of for a time but haven't dared to take on: ' Don't Starve. First game I survived 4 days (ingame days). Second game I survived 12 days. Today, third game I'm on 10'th day, and things are kinda marginal. What can I say. The game is just as addictive, tremendous and awesome as I figured , and an just as annoying, frustrating, frantic grindfest as I feared A thing I note with satisfaction: This is a second recent 'indie' game that is quite major stuff. It's maybe not quite as glorious and magnificent as 'Kerbal Space Program', but the gameplay is probably less daunting and more appealing to mainstream. Anyway, I just got to say "-Wow!". Check out some YouTube videos on the gameplay, to see if it's something for you.

I don't know anything about the game in question, but I am a network tech. Whats giving you trouble? Thank you, but I think I did the best I could. That game is old, like almost 20 years old, thats problem 1. Problem 2 is that I try to play a mod that is 10 years without support. I managed to get the game working, with some Hamachi dancing, but the issue here is that the mod while very good is BUGGED as hell. If I fight directly vs my friend's army (it's a turn based strategy game) I get sometimes turn desync, as it shows for him that it is my turn and it shows for me that it is his, and the only way to go through this is to force exit the game.

Yea, this doesn't sound like a communication error. It sounds like a game/mod error. are you playing over a lan, or over the interweb?

I played some more Horizon Zero Dawn and did some main quests and some side quests as well and cleared out all the Bandit camps. I also finished the Cauldron site locations and fought my second Thunderjaw at that point. And you were right Heimdall your way is just sooooo much easier it's almost to easy. Because i also fought my first Stormbird at Gaia ( at that point i did not know that you also need to do a certain main quest so i could not get my final power cell damn haha. ) But uh this is a pretty easy fight as well do you ( Heimdall ) also have an easy way to fight a Behemoth ??? Because i have to kill one in one of the main quests ( only to get that last power cell ) but i just cannot seem to defeat it.

For Behemoths, I think I mostly set up a bunch of traps before attracting their attention, then use explosive ammo from a sling. Try using a mixture of lightning and fire damage to keep it stunned and taking damage. I haven't yet figured out a way like the Thunderjaw, which just becomes almost insultingly easy to beat once you figure out the method I told you about.

Okay i'll try that the next time i'll see that Behemoth in the arena a mixture of lightning and fire damage i have tried the trap thing but it takes time to set up a trap and then i'm dead again there was a point that i really hated that Behemoth. Yes they are insultingly easy to kill there is also a quest where you can use a Thunderjaw to fight for you and i did that part of the quest in less then 5 minutes. First i let the Thunderjaw fight for me and kill everything in that area i did that in 3:47 and then i killed the Thunderjaw in about a minute it's just sooooo easy to kill a Thunderjaw a little to easy if you ask me.

Well, scan it to see what elemental damage its vulnerable to. I don't remember, but use lightning or ice to slow it down to give yourself space. Fire will help you keep the damage up. Otherwise, use sharpshooter arrows on the vulnerable points or explosives like I said. Traps won't work in the confined space of the arena, so this is mostly a battle of attrition. I was kinda disappointed by that with the Thunderjaw actually, really kinda takes the threat out of them even though they still look so cool. But of the three "alpha" machines (Others being the Stormbird and Behemoth) they are by far the easiest to beat. EDIT: I guess the rock spitting burrowing machine whose name I can't remember also counts as an "alpha"
