Watching Days Gone gameplay. A action adventure horror for PS4. *Yawn* Another zombie theme game. zzzzz Romance scene is cute though. Animations are nicely done in cutscenes. And ending is fine. Boy goes off with girl. Happy ending.

Oh my goodness. Amelia Tyler who did the voice of Malady in DOS II and Nyrissa in Pathfinder Kingmaker does communicate in YT. I thought it's an imposter but it's really her.

And now the game is back on the shelf for being too damn spooky.
While I do find some of the critters that attack to be annoying af (crabs and parasites, especially) I haven't really been spooked by anything.
Yet.
My boyfriend couldn't handle the scary creatures either and quit too. I ended up stabbing everything in the face eventually. Fuck those sandsharks or even reapers!!! Seriously, after a while when I had seen every creature and knew which one does what, nothing fazed me anymore. The only ones you cannot harass enough to fuck off are the ghost leviathans. Then again I built one of my bases where they live at the edge of the map. They swim by my glass walled bedroom... That said, this one deep bass pulse track kinda creeped me out until the very end.

It's not so much the creatures themselves, but more the noises / the fact that they suddenly took offense to me. Like I'd been swimming close to those laughing gas bags, thinking we were good and then BAM! Poison. Or those metal eaters, me swimming there, them eating metal there and them BOOM bite of the butt gone off. Then first time I played there was some sort of lizard/snake swimming above the water, and it like ignored me for ages. Then suddenly I see it sliding past my characters left side, slicing a good chunk of health along with it. So it was just like...rude. But lowering the quality of my sound output was probably why today's prodding of Subnautica went way better. And the fact that I figured to craft a flashlight. A lot less scary when you can hear real life going on in the background and see what's chilling in the dark beside you. Didn't help my restart obsession any. But made it into the ship on one go. Shanked those headcrabs. And then found the Island on other. The island was btw glorious for the brief moment before the textures loaded in. Like I see why you stuck to the water....Then it got real nice as the textures caught up. But while no real progress was made I did have a better time this time around. Then ended up binge playing Skyborn. Played it way back when but ended up quitting in some arena because I was too bad at combat. Was just going to briefly poke at it, maybe just get through the opening scenes and now I have four companions and am traipsing through a dormant volcano. Sooooo good times.

Got started in Sunless Skies. Cash and cargo space were tight from the get go, so I followed some hints to buy and sell magic space seeds. Found the seller easy enough, though the purchase bankrupted me, then almost ran out of food and fuel getting to where I was supposed to deliver it. That's the place in the picture above. Fortunately they had some work at Magdalene's that didn't require me to get off the island, helping some poor sod get over his therapy dependency. Between that and selling the seeds, I'm in a pretty comfortable spot now. I also defeated a pirate ship. The captain wasn't all there, but I took him aboard and they took care of him at Magdalene's as well. I do like it when things come together. I definitely need to get a bigger ship, though. One where I can actually store trade goods, since the starting one gets filled up the moment you load basic supplies.

Kingmaker. I wish Owlcat devs would think out chars and quests better. My protag has become queen once the territory expanded. Up came an incident in which a group from another kingdom appear on a mission. Even though I ordered the guards to throw them out once it became obvious they're really very unwelcome guests, nothing happen. Really, devs. Really? On the one hand, I like the twists of certain NPCs but on the other. *shakes head* I decided to put Jubilost, the little gnome in the tophat on camp management. I watched in amusement as he stood and turned in a circle, watching everyone at their tasks, clapping his hands when it seemed they weren't doing things to his satisfaction. That's just so typical of him. The colours and details in this game are lovely. I have to zoom in to see objects, etc up close. This is as close as I can get. My protag has a custom protrait. The woman with the X scars and with a halo in the images.

Finally giving Apex Legends a try. Played a bunch of games, as is my experience in any multiplayer. I was hit and miss overall as overall competency went. Some games I eliminated early, a couple second place finishes. One in which I folded under the pressure of being the last member alive for my team.

Waiting for my AP (Aka energy) to be restored and keep playing. Also thinking if I should summon or not, my rng luck is always so bad, and I only have enough for 1 multi summon, and the rates are abismal in this game. edit: dunno why the images don't want to show. I'll just leave the link.

So yesterday after clearing Ithika and returning and sticking the cylops eye up a goats butt, Kass hit Megaris like a whirlwind. Met Stentor, Oh Joy of Joy and then totally forgot about going to see the Spartan soldier to do his quests for him which I am not to concerned about but headed straight to the Fort and took that down, nation chest and all without being spotted. Which makes me wonder how the Mercenary that showed up there knew to go there. but more on "Fu#$ing" Mercenaries later. Then roamed around clearing some camps, visiting a tomb, collecting materials, changing my ship theme to the Celestial one and then cleared the Leader's house to reduce the Nation Power to zero. Off to kill the leader. So this is where the real life ranting started!!! The leader and his guards are at there usual spot at the tent outside the walls (does he ever move?) so I send Ikaros to mark him and make sure there are no other guards or Mercenaries anywhere and then get myself into a nice stealthy shrub to wait for one of the guards to move a bit so I can hit Rush Assassinate and kill them all. Then a damn Wolf runs up barking from behind me and attacks me!!!!!! Apparently being attacked by a wolf is a crime and my bounty jumps from 1 to 4 and all the guards of the leader and the leader himself start attacking (and the damn wolf is still attacking me), plus about 6 guards run out of the fort and 4 F#$king Merc's teleport in at once and join in. So I did as Brave Sir Robin does and RAN AWAY, but of course two of the mercenaries are throwing flame grenades (by the way 2 0f the merc's are the the two top tier one merc's) and I having to use heal all the time and of course another wolf has joined in and I can't get into stealth. Anyway to cut an even longer story short, everyone and everything except me died and I put it down to taking inspiration from my daughter watching Deadpool 2 in the same room. After much vocal swearing and running and killing and then finally some stealth the first four Merc's died plus another that happened along and so did the leader and his guards and a few other guards and some wolves. Kass headed to the nearest taverna and I had several beers to celebrate as well. Brave Sir Robin: Pic's Yep go chase the goat: Barnabas is such a good NPC, its fun having him as a companion, do wish he had a pet space hamster though: Adrestia tricked up all Celestial, including the crew and Kass: Aya and Athena gossiping about how jealous they are of Kass's hair:

I just had a hilariously awful time with Star Citizen I tried out on my boyfriend's account who backed it ages ago but never had a look himself. He's only interested in Squadron 42 if it ever gets released. We're both not big on buggy as hell alpha builds. But I was kinda curious after I saw that 3.5 update where you can walk around a massive city. Too bad we couldn't even manage to fly off the space station... First off, I managed to horrify my boyfriend with the Indian toyboy I designed to my liking. "You're going to go with THAT?!?! There are so many things I never knew about you...." So, here's the result from the mostly awful face morph character creator. I know, I know, he looks like he could have starred in Twilight or Vampire Diaries but I swear this was the best I could do and maybe I've reached the age now where women find much younger men attractive again... I was going to go with female but the presets were so hideous that I gave up on finding an acceptable mix of the three faces you can blend. It's also super weird that when you get to the skin color tab, it somehow changes EVERYTHING about the face! Even the eye brows for some reason... So suddenly I had a choice between a 17-ish year old white baby face, variations of older white guy and a few young dark complexions. There was no option for fairer skinned Asian. They all looked so radically different I don't understand what the point of choosing eye brows and lips and such was before when the skin complexion changes that again... So I kept the default skin I designed my character on... At fist I was relieved that the game has controller support. Then we realized that half of the menus don't actually work with controller. And when we couldn't even figure out how to leave the room and pulled up the key mapping, we had a near stroke at seeing all that super complicated button mapping. Like, omfg, what is that shit?!?! So you basically have to learn how to do anything for a day or something. Yeah no, that is not the kind of stuff I enjoy. After finding the third person camera, I was not happy that your character turns with the camera and you can only see their backside. Boo! Upon finally leaving, a bottle I picked up in the room stuck to the floor and moved with the character for the rest of the day. Reloading did NOT fix it. Off to a great start. Had some giggles crawling over the floor with the bottle looking like a giant penis. After some aimless walking around I found the exit to the docking bay. Unfortunately I took my helmet off earlier and suffocated... Respawned inside my tiny room again. Put the helmet back on. Exited through the airlock again... So far so good. Walked around the docking bay in space, no spaceships anywhere. Fell off the edge and realized that I can float. So here's Indian toyboy with his best friend the bottle in space: The landing wasn't very smooth... Upon the third respawn the out of focus first person view you get briefly hen you wake up never went away again. EVER. Internet says to fix it you need to delete a file. Really now?! Awesome... Eventually found where to call my spaceship. You can track it - but only in first person. So I made my way to the docking bay again in my new visual disability simulator which SUCKED. All interactions with object are in first person too. So here I stand facing the cheapest spaceship available, I think. The excitement didn't last long. We couldn't find the prompt to board this tiny spaceship for 10 minutes... We found the cargo bay switch... At some point I made it inside the spaceship. Turned on the power. Turned on the engine and then... nothing more happened. No idea how to take off! Decided to press the eject button: That was kinda fun. Always wanted to do that! I think the fall broke my legs or something... upon reentering the ship, my screen had blood spatter all over and shortly afterwards my toyboy collapsed as he was trying to take a piss... That was actually the best moment of the entire ordeal. I laughed hard. Decided to log off afterwards though. I don't have the patience for buggy alpha builds with button mapping from hell. I'm not the type of person for this kind of realism where doing anything takes forever. Game looks amazing though, I gotta say. Frame rate was smooth too. 50+ frames on 1080p with a GTX 1070.

Soooo I decided to hop on the Show last night. Which ended up being a bit annoying. Split my two games. Lost to the Yanks 4-1 while I beat the Rays 3-2. 3-1 in the 9th when JD Martines singled home a run but then Kimbrel walked in a run after loading the bases, but got the last guy to fly out.

The Sunless Skies saga continues. And, well, I almost died. It all started well enough. I set out from Magdalene's and headed towards what I supposed was the general direction of Port Prosper. I had a government official to drop off there, and she paid me a decent sum upon arrival. There I also picked up an Incognito Princess (she's not very good at the incognito thing) and made her my first officer. The more the merrier! After a brief stop on Carillion I returned to the main hub port of New Winchester and decided to turn my port reports in to the bloody colonials rather than the London government's cronies. Got a pretty good windfall from that. Now, that still left me some four hundred sovereigns short of a substantial improvement to cargo space. Some more magic space seeds were required somewhere called Titania, so I returned to Port Avon in hopes they were still selling them. No such luck, but I picked up a Repentant Devil as a signaller. Plus the Incautious Driver I got as an engineer in the beginning, that's three officers out of five — simply marvelous. Now, I had no clue where to get the seeds, but I also had a monster hunter aboard who wanted to get to Hybras. I managed to find a region called Hybras, but no port by that name. Instead, I came across a dingy circus and, further on, a marauder hideout I blasted out off expeditiously. That's not when I almost died. Oh, no. My money was running low by now, what with fuel and supplies being expensive. I had a couple of business prospects somewhere called Traitor's Woods, but no idea whatsoever where it could be. I made the ill-considered decision to indulge my adventuring spirit and explore the southernmost quadrant. What I found was a serpentine corridor full of shipwrecks that sprouted tentacles and attacked me when I drew nearby, and some kind of hooded Lovecraftian monstrosity that chased me further into the wilds when I drew near. I was almost out of supplies, and hoped against hope that I could find some further on. The final stretch of the corridor indulged me with tropical scenery and a extremely strong wind that made my all but exhausted food literally grow. What was not so great is that the wind also slowed my ship down considerably and terrified the pants off my crew, not to mention my hull was severely damaged from all those unfortunate encounters earlier. All I could do was pray that there was a port past that ordeal. And lo, there it was, "Laidbeater & Stainrod's Nature Reserve." They even sell the magic space seeds I was looking for early on! All there is to settle is whether I should buy them or play it safe and use that cargo space for fuel and supplies to carry me back to New Winchester. Decisions, decisions.

So a lot of running around in Megaris yesterday basically clearing "?" from the map and doing several contracts from the message board. Killed the "new" leader of Megaris with far less trouble yesterday. Poor guy was sitting by himself at the tent as I 'd taken down the port etc. so nation power was still on zero. Killed a mercenary for a bounty and two more rode by so added them to the body count. Killed some bandits and retrieved some medicine for a doctor, then started the 2nd lot of Odessa's quests, got the herbs, got the potion, collected the evidence from the vacant Leaders house and swept the young lady off her feet. Then told her I believed she was the victim and recruited her for The Adrestia. Not sure why but in terms of loot the game seems obsessed ATM with giving me bows over the past few days. I don't usually mind as they are good for dismantling but I am on a drachmae pilgrimage at the moment and would also like some swords to look at upgrading my current one. Latest batch of bow loot: Strange Horse parking part 4 Liking the celestial horse and gear at night Looks good under water too Kass and Odessa

But the camera will always remain behind when moving. If the zone is environmentally secure, you can change the space suit / armour to civilian clothing. Welp, throwing off the present Kingmaker PT. I didn't get the crucial dialogue with Nyrissa. *sigh* I was hoping she would turn up at the throne room, one of the crucial indicators but she didn't. I followed the advice; be nice to her but it seems there're certain lines that work better. If I'm to try again, I have to read the step by step guide. The problem is this game is so damn long. The House on the Edge of Time is bloody convoluted. It wouldn't be so baaad if the loading segments were faster. Best yet, seamless transition. But this game has tons of loading of screens that really tries one's patience. I'm not saying it's a bad game in terms of story, char, etc. The bloody load times are a killer.

Fallout 4. Good old Preston and his stupid quests. I'm going to exile him to that settlement out in the swamps. Any how, went to Finch Farm and help the old man retrieve a family heirloom that is dumb son stole. The Forged found out they were playing with fire with the wrong person. Rescued the dumb animal son and was able to keep the Shishkebab as payment. Guess it wasn't that important of an heirloom. Finally got back with Dick Tracy to help me track down Kellog. The trail lead to an old military outpost which was guarded by synths. No synth or turrets was going to stop Courtenay from getting to Kellog and to the knowledge of where her son is at. Found Kellog and but no son, so in a fit of rage she blew Kellog's head off. As she left the installation, the Brotherhood shows up. McCready waiting around, perhaps he's waiting for some human hamburger to be made? We like our meat well done. Does it look like I want to have a conversation, in the middle of a fire fight? No need to lose your head over it, pal. Talk about timing.

I played Titanfall 2's campaign. I had fun. Good level design, and the Pilot/Titan aspect of the story was good. I just wish the setting had been developed, the lack of world building holds it back from being a game I really enjoy.

So yesterday was supposed to start by going to meet Stentor but thought bugger that and headed for the hills!!!! Decided to clear a few more "?" and slowly started to roam further and further afield. Then was having such a good time just rolled with it, had fun hunting animals, killing bandits, taking down military camps, exploring tombs, well the Tomb of Orion is a bit of a chore but hey it was another ability point. Now to my favourite subject Mercenaries. In the past two days, I have taken down 3 mercenaries in the top tier, tier 1. Each time I have moved up one spot in tier 7 to now be at the top of tier 7 and that just seems stupid. I have also killed at least 10 mercenaries ranked below me and this appears to have no affect on your progression which makes it a waste of time fighting them except if they are one of those special ones with a legendary loot item. If I beat the number one mercenary in tier 1 and I am in tier 8 at the least I should jump a tier, not move up one spot on the ladder but my thoughts are if you are good enough to do that you should get top spot. Then make the mercenaries below you more active in trying to take you down, hound you across Greece. At least that'd give them a reason for suddenly being wherever you just committed a crime rather than teleporting in after some guard in a random fort spotted you. Same as the bounty system, why does a wolf attacking me get me a bounty, why would civilians want to fight me over stealing or whatever when there are already 10 to 20 guards attacking me and why in gods name are bears and wolves roaming around towns and cities and the guards often just do nothing. I hope they look at this stuff, it is in no way game breaking but it is on occasion incredibly annoying. Anyway I got side tracked. I had a great time just roaming yesterday with absolutely no objective other than synching any Fast Travel points that appeared on the map but will jump back into story mode today. Not looking forward to the Conquest Battle in my squishy assassin Athena gear set, will see how it goes. Pic's

Hey Dazk, so much for putting Odyssey down eh? Anyways first for the Show: Well and so much for NOT playing the show lol. Played 7 games and I am 6-1 over that span. Lets see here: My only loss was so friggin annoying. Was tied like 1-1 in the ninth inning I think it was and Andrew Miller was in, haven't used him very much so far this year he gave up a double and then the next guy was a left hander left him in, which he gave up a double and took the L. But then I did sweep the Rays and had at least one walk off home run for JD Martines in the 8th. Oh and in one game I scored 7 runs in the first knocking their starter out of the game and the next inning got 3 runs. Beat them 10-1. I am also personally 2-0 myself. And the next game for the starter I didn't tag them anywhere near as bad but still ended up beating them 7-0. And for Star trek Online. Bit of a funny story with this one. I mean I think most people should know that I don't do MMOs but A its free and B. I wanted to see it on YouTube since...for some strange reasons...I am in a bit of a Trek mood. (*coughDiscoveryisawesomecough*) and C. my Wife seems to think it looked interesting and wanted we have been looking for something to play together. So giving it a try. Last time I tried STO it didn't work out overly well for me so there was some hesitation. But meh, it might work out this time. So started out with the Discovery character since that is what my Wife did. Still learning the game and working through the tourtorial..which is pretty much the same as the start of the other SF campaign, just no Borg. And also Corvan 2 instead of Vega. Its kind of silly but it is an MMO, no voiced character but really when my character has auto dialogue...his mouth moves...but no actual words come out, its weird. Also the ground combat, like it seems to be in most MMOs, can feck right off. On the bright side the CC is rather good. I've decided I don't like messing around with noses and eyes for CCs, but thats not an *it* problem that's a me problem. I just don't like messing around with the finer details. But the CC itself is fairly indepth and I didn't have as much trouble using it as I usually do, eyes and nose not withstanding. I think I managed to create someone descent and unique. Also yey for body sliders! And yey for for custom uniforms. I made mine look like what I wanted for my own sci fi universe that I have been playing on. Red body, black pants, red trim. Lawl. As far as what I have been doing...cadet Foley on his first training cruise after graduating from the accademy, weirdly enough he is the first officer. Ship gets ambushed by Klingons, he fights them off and then is off to Corvan 2 which is under attack. Corvan 2 which was mentioned in Discovery and their first real mission with the spore drive.

I tried playing The Division 2 but at the time my mind really wasn't in the right place and now I feel like I have missed the bus on that one!!!! Will definitely play it sometime in the future but yeah tried an Alexios PT and whilst he was growing on me (I like his personality) his VA just doesn't work for me. So after reaching Megaris with Alexios I decided to go back to my Kass PT and try and get her to L99. I am actually having fun playing with a more heavily weighted Assassin build with an emphasis on CRIT stats and using The Athena Legendary set that gives bonuses for assassin stats and crit stuff. When it works its awesome, killing top level Mercs in one or two hits using Rush Assassination and Heroic Strike but Melee combat can be challenging as I have ditched nearly all my health, armour and melee resistance buffs as well as my huge bonus to sword damage. Anyway I am enjoying playing Kass again and at the moment just free roaming and not stressing the story line so much. Are you playing as The Red Sox? Man the division tables are all quite close atm with some weird teams in 1stand 2nd place!!!!!

Man the division tables are all quite close atm with some weird teams in 1stand 2nd place!!!!! You talking about IRL? Yeah for the Sox this year its been painful. Perhaps the biggest example is from my season Chris Sale is 5-0 and IRL he is 0-5. I ean the Show is just a video game. But this is the team that broke all sorts of records last year and pretty much minus Craig Kimbrel they have pretty much the same team. And its funny that their Bullpen, IRL, is not even their biggest issue...for the most part I mean every time they get a good start it seems their bullpen collapses but such is life. Good news is the rest of the East is pretty much a mess. Only thing in my game is I added Andrew Miller, because I like him and figured they needed a lefty, Craig Kimbrel...because he still dosen't have a team IRL despite me being annoyed at his contract tactics, myself, and Stephen Strasburg because I was able to get him on my last team in the last version of the Show I had...fair and square (traded Blake Swihart and Junichi Tazawa for him back then).

Well the Red Sox are doing better than my team The Royals, man they have been hopeless last couple of seasons.
