Not sure I agree, there are things that happen in the previous two games that as the player, playing as Geralt if you haven't played them that I do not think you can make a fully informed decision when Geralt gets his "marbles" back in TW3. Some people choose Yen and some choose Triss and it makes very little difference re Yen I the first two games as she is only alluded to, but it makes a big difference re Triss because whole arcs etc are built around her especially in TW2. However, not going to play the first two, no interest. Also, that's a problem isn't it? A one side view because the first two are, as you said, the arcs are built around Triss. Nothing about Yen. I'm going by the third where the two women are present, irregardless who has more or less equal screen time, well, I made my choice. I have no issue with you playing or not playing TW1 or TW2, just putting my view forward that having played the first two games I think, gives the player a better opportunity to potentially make a different decision. And I don't disagree with your decision and that's one reason why I said I thought it'd be a waste of time replaying TW3 just to experience the Triss romance. For the record in TW1 the first time I played it I hated Triss and didn't romance her or giver her a child who is part of the plot to care for, I romanced Shani who'll you meet in the DLC. I was terribly pissed off when the whole Shani story was dropped from TW2 but the game changed my opinion on Triss. I had read some of the books then so understood Yennefer's backstory with Geralt and also some of Triss's history/situation but I just genuinely enjoyed Triss as a companion and the story arcs she's in and had no hesitation romancing her and rescuing her/not rescuing her in TW2 and getting the different outcomes the game gave me. I was open to romancing Yennefer in TW3 but even though I knew her history with Geralt through the games and the books I'd "lived" a history with Triss in TW2 and yes that's going to cloud a persons decision but that could also have easily changed a persons mind so that they'd want to romance Yennefer in TW3. Also the game doesn't push romance on you so I wouldn't say it is a one sided view. It's always a choice and lots of people didn't take that choice and I have no problem with that in the slightest.

However, it's undeniable Geralt did what he did for Yen, the wish. Yes, to save her life, but not because he loved her. He had only known her a few hours, and in that time she used him and then left him to die in prison for the crimes she forced him to do. He did meet her first and their relationship was more than a side fling despite their splitting up a few times. No. He had only known Yennefer for approximately 20 years, and most of that time, they weren't on speaking terms. Triss had been going to Kaer Morhan since she was a child on Vesemir's knee.

Geralt's far far older than her, a 100 at the time of TW III and Triss is about 40, and if they knew each other since she's a kid, she's at best a sibling. This is akin to Ciri's case where Geralt knew her as a child. Both women used Geralt at one point or another. Case closed. Also end of line regards these two. Thank you.

TW III The first DLC is a long winded contract. I feel like I'm being railroaded into killing toady. I mean the rumours were mentioned, there should be an option for Geralt not to kill Mr Toad aka Mr Prince. Whatever. The second start off with a bang. Well sort of. It's refreshing to see knights who are, well, knights as we know them to be. Defenders of the oppressed, yadda yadda. A land of noble knights ... and flowery archaic speeches. One of the knights is called Milton. Really? Really? I feel like I've stepped into a Shakespearean play. I can feel the fun already.

The only indication of her age is that she has just reached maturity, which for a sorceress is around 100. She was at Aretuza with Yennefer, sorceress schooling lasts 10 years, she can't be more than ten years younger the Yen.

From what I have seen Triss came into her magic very young and most of the stuff I have seen on the net indicates she is only around forty. There seems to be no hard evidence of her age, but I'd love to know for sure.

She's slightly older than Geralt who's probably about 96-97. Vesemir commented that Geralt is approaching a century in years. Triss's birthdate is unknown but it is mentioned she is the youngest of the Lodge, with emphasis on being young for a sorceress. There is no confirmation, either books or in games, that she attended Aretuza. Or at least, no source to confirm it and the year of attendance.

Oh I like the duchess. At the thought of a knight in danger, she rides to stop it. Rips off the lower skirt with nary a thought, jumps on a horse and away she goes. Solved the riddle and chased after the beast. Noooo, Milton. I'll miss your eloquence. Fights breaks out and a friend intervenes. Received a letter from Yen regards someone who knew mutagens. Doing the quest of the young knight who wants Geralt to take part in the tourney. The horse race is the worst. I can't tell if I hit the dummy or not because there's no impact animation and I don't understand the need for slow mo or whatever when striking with the sword. I circled three times around a dummy at a canter in the second practice attempt because I couldn't tell if the head was off or not. Going to fail this chicken shit of a horse race.

There seems to be no hard evidence of her age, but I'd love to know for sure. As you say, nowhere in the books does it give her age, but forty would be ridiculous. The night before the coup, Yennefer tells Geralt that she and Triss were best friends long before Yen met Geralt. So minus what we think is about the 20 years that Yen had known Geralt. Even without the "long before", that would mean a 76 year old Yennefer was best friends with a less than 20 year old Triss. (by sorceress standards, a child) At 20 years old, Triss wouldn't have even been out of the academy, given it took 10 years, and you had to be > 12 to enrole. It may not be explicitly stated that Triss attended Aretuza, but it was stated that all the most powerful sorceress attended there. Given that Triss was a member of the lodge and an advisor to a King, she was certainly among the most powerful. And we do know that Yennefer repeatably ask Triss to teach at Aretuza. It would be unlikely she would be offered that position at the worlds most elite academy if she didn't attend there.

I chose to have Geralt go as a knight of Rivia. I played Thronebreaker so I'm familiar with that side of the story. Surprise, surprise, the prince of Rivia was also participating and he was mad at Geralt. Since Vilem was dead, this had to be Anseis. Queen Meve didn't think much of her sons since they inherited their father's dorky traits. I'm afraid she's right. I would love to revisit Rivia with either Geralt or Ciri though. I finished the tourney. I veered off course once for the horse race and missed most of the strawmen but managed to hit the targets with the xbow. The practice route does not represent the real route so I was cursing when it went on and on. For the Lady Bird, I chose to tell young knight the truth and opted for shifting the curse. The other option sux. Only seven years? No way, cross fingers and hope the young gallant can help his lady love. As it turned out, it was a great choice. ^^ Also visited Corvo Biano, the vineyard bestowed on Geralt. Oh nice, I get to beautify it?

Been playing my Fifa 17 career and moved from Schalke in the Geman Bundesliga to come to the English Premier League and join Everton so far have guided them to the semi's of the FA Cup quarter finals of th Euro League which is basically the Europa League IRL it's just those competitions aren't fully licensed in Fifa 17 like they are in 19. I plan to continue my careers on Fifa 18 and 19 as well eventually as well as doing runs of the Journey (Fifa's story mode) Alerady screwed up on m yfirs trun of it by losing the FA cup quarter final s owill start again as I promised myself I'd rty t omake it a bit moer challengin in that if I screwed up a must complete objective I' dstart again from th ebeginning instead of reloading and replaying that match which is another optoin you can take. Wha tmade i teve ncrueler though is I lost the match on penalties so that did hurt.
A tsome point I will come away though as I wantto play the Tomb Raidre's again as I wantto experience Shadow's DLC's. Must admit I'm tempted to play Rise's again as well. Also I wantt ocontinue my F1 careers I have on the go for F1 2016,17 and 18

More Pathfinder Kingmaker. Mostly positive this time around, so hurrah for that. Did a bunch of companion quests, attended a fair and learned how to fast travel. Longer, more spoilery version in spoilers. Having found peace over being forever alone it was time to try ruling. Got everyone except the minister to the 4-6th rank. Got Nok-Nok's, Jubilost's and Harrim's companion quests, so did those. Have been pretty much ignoring Nok-Nok, but his quest was sort of bittersweet. Couldn't win the combat so he had to get smashed for us to continue. But he got a nice little hero's cheer and then was knighted as Kaira's personal hero. So he won some he lost some. Same-ish with Jubilost but at least he's allowed at court. Also a bittersweet quest. Decided to let Xai through the door and then we had a nice chat in the capital. Had bonded with Harrim with Halimar and now him and Kaira got a bit of a moment. So that was nice. Sided with the handsome fleshy dwarves of course. Then the Bald Hill started stirring up trouble, so went and stomped it back in the ground. First time there isn't a naked lady stirring up a mess there, so that was...well I won't say it was nice. The mandrakes where thicc though... Then we got invited to a fair! Whooooo. Host gave a hug upon arrival and hinted at an invite to his tent, then quickly withdrew it. Curses. Brushed shoulders with a tipsy fellow. Which is a funny mental image since Kaira's height maxed out at his belt level. So he dive bombed I'm sure. Her height also made the hug with Ivoretti funny as well, since ow ow ow his back. Either way, Tristian's scary mouth scared the man off and had the option to kiss his cheek. Tristian's that is. Which again, would be hilarious because belt level, so either she yanked him down, got some stilts or Linzi was a sis and gave her a boost. So just made do with a "Thnx". Wandered around the fair for a bit and then took part in the tournament and promptly lost the first two bits. The bragging contest kinda stung and I was a bit annoyed since I didn't rest before entering the area, so miiiight have mini rage reloaded before going to the tournament... Explored around the river in hopes for some quick cash money. Didn't find much but had a fun text adventure at least. Then back to the tournament. Found an interesting fellow I missed before, so that was a win and got some juicy dialog from the teacher. Which did make Ivoretti's tent offer a bit less appealing, but still. Ended up botching that go because Linzi was in the other end of the area when the dialogue prompted her to speak and didn't get the option to try again once she was back with the group. Which was a pity. So reloaded and did the whole mess again. Did not get the juicy gossip this time around but that was okay, since I got the gist of it and some new dialog with other peeps. Then did the two tournaments again and won! Granted I would have been okay with losing some of them, but it's a wonder what a good nights rest can pull off. Then did the third bout and won as well. Dwarven constitution eh ? Eating time was up next and it was an absolute delight. Especially since I kept the ring, close to my heart and now it was it's time to shine. Hehe. Would had kept it to myself boyo but you just had to go there...And then success at the dialog check afterwards. So yeah, the tournament was loads of fun! Then afterwards the rest of the companions wanted some attention. Did Tristian's quest and hooked him back up with his true love, which was nice. The old guy stabbing himself less though. So now Tristian is happy. Sent in the request to do Amiri's quest and that's 50 days away or something, so... Then did Regongar's quest. And it was sad. They wont let me into Pitax (Which is fair, Kaira is a region locust who devours all she sees) so can't do Octavia's quest for now. So will have to find out if I need to do something before being let in or just wait until Ivoretti gives me the thumbs up. Well he probably wont because Linzi is planning a pretty expose book on him and his so.... Also finally realized I could create teleportation nodes in the towns...And didn't even figure it out on my own, was looking something else up and spotted that it was a possibility. Mind blown I tells ya.

You have to wait for developments before you can get into Pitax. I hope you got straight back to the capital after the tournament and spoke to Linzi's teacher. Her quest has an effect at Pitax. After that, you're free to explore the rest of Irovetti's kingdom which I suggest you do so because you'll run into a place where you can acquire an item to research into curses; base on player decision. If you did not do any research into curses, this inaction of course has an effect on ending options.

I logged into Division 2 and realized I have been the only member of my clan of 50 to log in during the last three weeks.

Continent plus, King, 22 civs, shitloads of city-states, not enough room, too much conflict! Well I like being a rich civ and... reached the 2nd place cuz I'm awesome.
