I have never heard of these "official models", where do you get them or do they come with the downloaded EE version on Steam and I have just never discovered them. Yes, EE version. When you choose "new game" from the main menu, there are two options: base game and extra adventures. If you select the latter, there is a list of 6 or 7 to choose from.
What I didn't know, and just found when wondering why there was no voice acting in the first one I tried, is that only 2 or 3 of them are "official" add-ons made by CDPR. The other ones are fan made so they don't have any VA in them, even for the most basic things.

So here we are again...
The Show:
Only managed to get two games in with me playing ACOD and well both of those games also took awhile too. First game had Chris Sale who in his last three starts had an L and two NDs...the last one of course he gave up 7 runs in 4.2 innings even though I would end up winning 10-8. So yeah bit nervous, and it was against the Yankees...fortunatley my offense has been booming recently...has been. Anyways though Steve Pearce the Yankee Kiler got off to a pretty great start start with two on he put one over the Monster for a three run shot. That was all the offense that I would get thoug and Sale would do quite well. 6.2 innings and 10 Ks. He was going quite smoothly until giving up back to back jacks to Aaron Hicks and DJ Lemieuh and then a single would 'chase him from the game. Kimbrel would come in for the save and would get it though.
Next game offense continues to be cold. Fun fact though Steve Pearce had 6 RBIs in the series to that point...he would get a seventh shooting one through the hole to make it 1-0. And the score would stay that way until the ninth. I left Steven Strasburg in the ninth, shoudn't have but he was doing so well and well...I did not expect the results...Aaron Hicks (remember him?) hit a game tying solo shot over the monther. I would try and keep him in to finish the inning but he would give up another hit so I went to the pen and Barnes sent it to extras...and then pitched a clean tenth. Eovaldi came in and did Eovaldi things. Mookie Betts would win the game by sending a ball into the first row of the monster seats for his 22nd of the year. Another happy landing. Another dramatic game between the Sox and Yanks.
Then in AC7:
I made it up to Stonehenge Defensive and regained control of Strider Squadron. I also spent a lot of my MRP, bought the Wyvren and trying to get a few special weapons and stuff...
In New Vegas: Finally tried starting out the DLC 'Gentle Hearts' I suppose it is called. Went up to Utah with the Happy trails convoy...and they didn't last that long at all. Apparently the New Cannanites were entirely wiped out. I also loved how the DLC was like 'who is the Burned Man...who is Joshua Graham'....then oops here he is.
So far I am...not impressed. NV is hinky and frustrating at times but it is still fun and there is a lot of interesting story beats and ideas. Well, not here. Everything is posionious up here so that is super hard and annoying...my companion is useless...and, worse of all, so far the only quests for the story have been fetch quests...literally. I have not really run into something I would call a fetch quest the entire game but yikes this DLC. I think at this point I pretty much want to bull rush it so I can get back to New Vegas and maybe another DLC.

The other ones are fan made so they don't have any VA in them, even for the most basic things. Yeah, it can be a bit jarring going back to no voice acting. I'm back playing a NWN2 module (Bad Habits by Tsongo) although I changed it a bit and Tsongo might not recognise some of it. Trouble was, I changed it quite a lot last time I played it. ie changed one of the main male characters to a lesbian (as you do.) But I forgot what she looked like and used the same head and hair models for my monk heroine. Don't you hate it when that happens. Thank Sharess for the gff editor, I managed to get out of that one. i.imgur.com/jnhxrbu.jpg

Continued Cliff Empire... Turns out that 20 honor points DO NOT unlock ground colonization at last but give you control of the orbital station which THEN will eventually lead to the ground level endgame. Dear god... Now the orbital station doesn't have unlimited supply anymore, SURPRISE MOTHERFUCKER, and therefore fucked over my entire strategy of relying on its water supply down on the cliffs... You start off with a huuuuge deficit because suddenly there are 1500 unemployed workers who cash in welfare... They need water. So I had to change a couple of things on the cliffs to make more water. Also, now I needed to get 200 MORE people out of cryo which was not feasible until I had enough work spaces. UGH.
I spent about 10 hours (!) building workplaces on the orbital station which was PAINSTAKINGLY SLOW because of all the steel I needed to get up there through the trade terminal, which only sends up stuff in stacks of 25. Most buldings are 200-400. And half of the steel went to the 3D printers I set up so I could sell some appliences to the cliffs in order to make money and not go bankrupt... Which then required me to rethink my 3D printer silicon valley cliff...
On my first attempt I got my priorities wrong and ran out of money quickly. Reloaded a save from 40min earlier. Most of those ten hours were just letting the game run itself while I only did some damage control during the unending hazard loops on Earth. Cliff Empire is a weird game in that too many hazards stress you out constantly, at the same time some of the resource time sink tasks take forever. You can run the game on 6x speed but every time a hazard hits it slows down to a crawl to let you "prepare" and you have to speed things up manually. So even when I tried to let it run in the background while I did the dishes or wrote an email on my phone, I had to interact with the game every 5-10 minutes... Maybe there's an option to diable to speed slowdown that I never found. In that case I'll start crying...
Maybe if I had an efficiency build it wouldn't take so long. But I don't because I want my cities to look somewhat pretty, and yet I want to reach the final phase and build a cool city on the ground eventually. So I'm sticking with this game's weird mix of constant micro managing and having nothing to do at the same time, waiting for things to be built.
But gosh, feels like since I entered the orbtial station phase the hazards are even more frequent. My richest cliff went from over 800.000 credits down to 400.000 within an hour. WTF?! The one that was at 400.000 went down to 200.000... One is below 200.000 now even. *sigh*
It's as if the game designers are sadists and no matter how rich you are at some point, they find ways to hit you with the right hazard combination to make you sweat again.
Cliff Empire is a game for masochists. For just 10 bucks you get 50-100 hours of agony. BARGAIN!!!

It is done. My very first water cooling loop in ONI. The Aquatuner turned out not to be that big a power eater since it's not running all the time. But heating the salt water reservoir already 4 degrees. The cooling loop already seems to deliver decent cooling to base. It runs through my freshwater tank as does the oxygen from electrolyser.
Oxygen gen is kinda unsatisfactory, I need a bigger system, maybe two e-lysers? While looking at upscaling I can already see that liquid and gas transportation is bottlenecking my designs.
Food is becoming a bit scarce - I planted waterweeds and bristle blossoms to combat. Would rather do mushrooms but I havent got enough seeds.
Gas power is hooked up to base - it probably depletes faster than I thought, but I can backup with coal I guess.
Next steps are stepping up food and oxy gen, then having a look how to produce plastics, petroleum and checking out the thermal nullifier.

Continuing my design and construction spree in the Minecraft modpack "Enigmatica 2 Expert". Built the beginnings of a space station. So far little more than a box with life support and a matter transmitter system to my home base and back. Thinking of building a fully autonomous base out here. Does magic work in space? There are two magic mods in the pack which depend on constellations in the sky and a local mana aura...

Never seen thermodynamics that deeply modelled in a game. There a couple of exploits around it, of course. It's a well-designed 2D builder, if you've seen Factorio and Rimworld you kinda know what to expect, with a twist.

Fire Emblem Awakening
Leveled a few more of my characters the other day (Maribelle still hasn't reached level 10, but she's slowly getting there)
I've also played chapter 8, recruiting two new members to our growing team Mercenary Gregor (who talks in third person at all times) who was protecting a young girl as we found him said young girl was named Nowi, who when she came under attack from enemies proved she wasn't as fragile as she first appeared, turning into a dragon turns out Nowi is a manakete, and Gregor had killed her former "owners" freeing her from slavery and had been protecting her since (even though at first she thought he too wanted to buy and sell her away ) also as we later found out Nowi was a lot older then she appeared Frederick: *to Lissa* she may look young, but manaketes life for a very long time Lissa: *to Nowi* really? How old are you? Nowi: dunno, a thousand something, but look, no wrinkles! < Nowi's in-game portrait next chapter we'll be saving Emmeryn sadly I already know how that will end

You can recruit her at the end of the Patalogue. Her default ending has her living a quiet life afterwards with this new persona. If you are male and get S rank, she seems to start gaining more of her memories and can speak in more complete sentences.

If you are male and get S rank, she seems to start gaining more of her memories and can speak in more complete sentences. yeah I have it, I've recruited her in the past, and the others as well (aside from Priam because I couldn't beat his chapter) but imo. it doesn't really make much sense to recruit them since most (if not all of them) are supposed to be dead the only one that does is Yen'fay since he's from a different timeline like the children units, where he comes from a world where his sister died instead of him. But all of the others just don't make much sense imo. plus there's the part where they can only support with the Avatar, would be interesting if they could support other characters as well (for example in Emm's case her siblings) I'm aware they can have some conversations on some of the dlc maps, but it doesn't extend beyond that and sadly my avatar is female (supporting Chrom because a) I like him and I love the irony of Lucina having Grima's blood ) I do have some head canon characters where I included the Spotpass units and made some crack pairings to give them kids...they don't make much sense but shh one of them is the sibling of the Avatar (in my case a brother, but it'd be a girl if my avatar were male) who has some foresight powers and was the one to send the kids into the past from the future, only to be killed by Grima!Avatar (don't ask...it's cliche, I'm aware) his class would be griffon rider since it's the only class not covered by any of the canon characters unless you re-class them into one

I had left my Civ V game as Byzantine Empire for months. Reason is I knew I had to go to war. I don't like war. It may sound strange but I don't play Civ V for the wars. I hate the screams of the civilians when cities are bombarded.
But, I finally hitler'ed up and settled the score with the Ottomans. I had in mind to clear my continent of them, but softened and let them negotiate a peace after my main goals had been reached. I broke through to the western ocean. I probably lost the sea war, as I could no longer find or target any of his submarines, blockading my cities, having had my own + Destroyer sunk. It didn't matter for the war, as my Byzans had up until that point been forced to be a land power. Good ol' Blitzkrieg, air and tanks. (I use the old "weak" tanks, as these only need oil, which I typically have in great surplus, and not modern or mechs, as I need aluminum for air and Uranium for nuclear powerplants. Ordinary tanks are great, since they move far and can move after shooting.)
I renamed Istanbul 'Byzantion' (old Greek name?), as I already had a Constantinople.

Greedfall Yes, I decided to get it after watching more than two hours game play over Twitch. Granted I'm not happy dodge roll is similar to the "mechanics" of DAI; you have to bloody train up for it. That's not to say there is no dodge, there is but it's a simple leap back. Also no ability to jump. *noise of disgust* Anyway, the voice acting is good. I ignored watching the faces or mouth really because lip sync isn't there; it's just a show of teeth. Rather than run around, I chose to walk and take my time. I'm in no hurry. Besides there's no timer on the quests, etc. The protag I made. There is a range of presets but players can adjust the basics; eyebrows, hair, hair colour, eye colour.

Remapped Parry to the spacebar but man I had so much trouble during the combat tutorial assigning keys for potions etc..... And yes trying very hard not to look at the mouths because of the lip synch and some of the heads because seriously some are just wrong!!!!! Here's my protag:

So Ace Combat. I did some things and am basically most of the way done with the game now. Got up through mission 15, it is a 20 mission campaign, and the Siege of Farantai. Stonehenge Defense was still a bitch and a half I think I lost once. For a couple of missions there I was having a LOT of trouble letting my missiles hit the target and just having a lot of bad luck as they over shot or just entirely missed. Seems like the problem settled itself down eventually since I wasn't having as much trouble. Still I am way more dangerous to myself then the enemy is, only got shot down once this entire PT and have crashed about five times...always annoying. I had to get the Battle of Farantai down at the last second again. I forgot that it was basically a rolling number of enemies appeared...more enemies appeared later so i might've lost some time. Sol Squadron I was surprised at how easily they went down...but then of course Mr. X did the scripted BS against Wiseman. And wonders of wonders...my wife is playing Ghost Recon Wildlands: I just point it out because I am rather shocked to discover that when Ubisoft added te ability for you to mess with the squad...that included their gender and faces. Weaver is now White, Midas is a girl...and Holt is Holt.

Here's my protag: [/spoiler] There's also another reason to walking. There's no way to mark out loot / items so running around meant it'll be easy to miss the sparkling crates / coins / letters. I find the fonts a bit small, would be better if they're bigger. Not sure if it can be adjusted, I haven't checked out the options. The inventory boxes could use a bigger size too.

Fallout 4. Been doing a lot of wandering around, finding new places. At the Corvega plant area encountered some Children of the Atom scum attacking one of my caravans. She turned them into a bloody paste on the tarmac, no one disrupts her operations. Exterminated the raiders who made Thicket Excavations their home. Nothing like sniping the enemy from the high ground. Then we decided to take on Ada's quest finally to see about this Mechanist nonsense. Humbug! Christmas means nothing without family. I'm going insane. Now I'm talking to a disembodied brain. Had to get a kill shot in. You can run but I'll still shoot you.

So lets see here: In new Vegas. I was puttering around in Zion meeting Daniel and talking to his tribals about their religion...turning in the stuff...and it crashed. Froze. Whatever. *sigh*. This is now officially the buggiest game I have ever played. So off to Bolivia. I had a hankering to play Wildlands...I don't know why. I didn't do much just redid a single mission in Ocorro and found a bunch of Kingslayer Files. I was off to a much better start with my fully decked out character running things down and just basically being a Sniping Ghost. Though I rushed through Ocorro because it was getting late and I got into a bit of a running firefight. So the idea did occur to me now that since I know you can cange the gender and appearance of your squadmates...that I could (and did) recreate my female Nomad and put her on the squad. Which actually worked out quite well. Just then I realized that there is a sniper on my squad I could've made her instead of borrowing from my wife's idea and bending Midas. Granted I probably could actually recreate my Midas if I wanted to...but this has led to quite the moral dillema. Heh...'moral Dillema'...first world problems. Anyways I want to obviously continue with NV but its so frustrtaing at tmes. And also my wife likes me playing it. But now that I know that I can basically have a brother sister buddy cop special forces thing going on in my game there is a lot of appeal in just starting over...or just redooing all the missions...with this new idea in mind. I mean she is fully voiced acted and everything. It would just be a pain having to start over everything all over again skill wise and weapons wise and everything else wise...but on the other other hand Breakpoint is coming out soonish...

Greedfall I like the fact that there's more than one way of completing quests because I chose magic and I didn't pick up science so I would have run into problems considering how limited the number of skills locked away. I did everything that's possible to do at Old Serene before setting sail. I didn't choose to help out two of the factions completely; I lied about some stuff. Kind of stuck when choosing companions. Kurt's armour has lockpick, a skill I didn't pick up at the moment. Once I landed at New Serene however, Vasco and Siora became companions. I can only take two. Siora is a must since it's obvious she'll help with the natives. Vasco threw me his personal quest so I dumped Kurt. I read somewhere Vasco's a romance option so I guess that's another reason to bring him along. Also learned something about the protag from Siora. I've to admit I was worried over whether she has the illness. I walked everywhere the moment De Sadet arrived at New Serene and emptied every box I came across. However that meant I ended up dangerously close to full inventory. With no ability to make potions, I'm wondering if I shouldn't sell some of the excess herbs. Edit. Oops, I just found out Kurt is a romance option. So it's between him and Vasco. Might change my mind regards Vasco. A Naut is tied to his ship.

With no ability to make potions, I'm wondering if I shouldn't sell some of the excess herbs. You get a storage chest to put items in. You can find it in your personal house in every city or in the camps on the road.

Continuing my love/hate relationship with No Man's Sky... Found out that other players can't activate the newly implemented switches I spent an hour setting up so that I can open and close the sliding doors that used to work automatically before Hello Games decided they needed to make the game less fun... There I was thinking, let's post my new base on reddit so people can visit it. First comment informed me that they couldn't get into my base.
FFS, Hello Games! Can't there be ONE thing that actually works in this buggy piece of shit of a game?!?!

Has anyone got Blapshemous yet? Seems like pure bloody fun and certainly easier to get into than Greedfall atm!

So New Vegas:
That was exceedingly...anti climactic. I was doing the quest in Zion for the medicine man who said I would see a vision of the future. These kinds of quests usually are. But given the frustrating layout of Zion it took me awhile to even find the Datura root. Then giving it to the medicine man he made me the tea...and it triggered a sequence vaguely like Far Cry. I then had to fight spore plants and creatures thta looked familiar...and was surprised to find a reference to Vault 22 guards...might be worth going back to looking at. Anyways the quest ended with me in this little cul de sac, there was this weird flash, and then I had to fight one She Bear...which seemed to turn into a BUNCH of She bears...that I just had to kill. No revelations of character, no interesting story beats...and thankfully I had .50 cal Incendinary ammo.
