Basically, choices or dialogue options that resulted in disapproval and there is no clear reason why.
Sten: He approves of sacrificing the elves in a blood ritual.
I know it is supposed to show that he is a pragmatist, but the Qunari don't even tolerate regular magic, let alone this. And I should remind you that it was a TEVINTER mage doing it.
Shale: When she asks why did you support Caridin, you get (-5) for saying "Branka was mad. I wasn't siding with her".
Why would that upset Shale at all?
Loghain: He disapproves of giving Cailan a decent funeral.
If Loghain actually hated him, I would understand. But as far as we know he merely thought he was a fool, which isn't quite the same thing as hate.

Feel free to bring up and discuss other reactions that were confusing as well.

I think Loghain's disapproval in that case makes sense after finding out that Cailan cheated on Anora with Celene. Although I must admit the letter seemed ok for me... and Anora knew Cailan had mistresses. Maybe Loghain didn't know.

He didn't think Cailan was a good enough King to deserve a funeral like that. He was a fool to him who was trying to be a hero and wanted glory. And we all know Anora was the one in charge, so Cailan was more of a King in name than action. He probably hoped Ostagr would change that but it failed epically as he had be warned by Loghain, Eamon and Duncan indirectly from the start.
I found Leilana's disapproving of me sparing Flemeth after saying it was the noble thing to not kill her is what made no sense. Also sparing Jowan seems to conflict a bit with Alistair. He doesn't want him killed but doesn't want him free, but how the scene goes makes it feel like he was being a hypocrite even though he just didn't want a blood mage let go.

Or when Alistair said that you should kill Connor because he is an abomination but disapproves if you do it.

Unless you go all the way and involve the circle, anything Alistair says still comes back to bite you during that ordeal. Even a woman wanting to sacrifice herself for her son, who caused his misery, still makes him yell at you.

Morrigan freaking out about Flemeth supposedly wanting to possess her to the point she asks you to kill mama. Morrigan then disapproving if you don't let Kitty possess Amalia. Hypocrite much?

Morrigan is pretty arbitrary about her approval/disapproval reactions. Remember Redcliffe when if you offer to help the blacksmith, she throws a fit, even though it's quite possible that the Warden is only going through with it to secure the loyalty of the Arl and his people? The more I think about it, the more I think that Morrigan doesn't really believe in "survival of the fittest" and she's just trying to follow what she thinks Flemeth taught her to do.

Not only that, but you could be lying just to gain the smith's cooperation. For someone who isn't above deception herself, it seems odd that she wouldn't think of this possibility.

Ehhh... that is giving Gaider too much credit. DAO Morrigan approves of everything that is evil and disapproves of everything that is good. It's actually that straight forward. You even get approval for threatening the revered mother in Lothering.

Morrigan is fun to have around; her insult banter is hilarious. But she is a selfish....witch who doesn't care about anyone but herself. Her reactions make perfect sense if you accept that. (Remember her reaction to bringing Cammen and Gheyna together? "Am I the only one who wants to vomit? Just me?" ) If you want to psychoanalyze her, remember she's an apostate living with the ultimate apostate/abomination, Flemeth. She's taught that the common people hate apostates and the men who come on to her "want only one thing." It explains her lack of sympathy for other people, but doesn't make it less annoying.

I understand not caring about anyone but yourself, but she disapproves of good things happening to other people when those good things in no way affect her. Is Morrigan any better off if Amalia gets possessed or if Cammen and Gheyna don't get together? No. Is she worse off if those things don't happen? Again, no. It's just stupid and why I usually leave her at camp.

Sleeping with Geyna = Wynne approves +7 It's a bug, but still hilarious. oh my... That is definitely a bug. She hated me nailing Cammen. The interchange was hilarious. Wynne to Warden as disapproval points float onto screen: I hope you're impressed with yourself. Zevran: I know I am.

So, playing an almost evil play through right now, and I'm a bit thrown with Wynne's reactions.
#1. You say you'll help her. Morrigan does her speech. All the Warden says is "maybe you have a point." Which is hardly a declaration of destruction of the tower. But Wynne then says, "you take advice from an Apostate?! I won't let you pass!" Attacks. But has no problem hitching her wagon to the Warden even as that same apostate goes through the entire tower and the rest of the game. Plenty of opportunities for advice to the Warden as they are in the same camp, Wynne.
#2 the discussion with Cullen in the Tower can also lead to battle just for agreeing with him exactly once. Wynne is super attack happy, you'd think she'd confirm you were actually going to burn the Circle before trying to burn you.
