Which of the specialization will make gap closing the easiest and will require the least manual strafe/maintaining facing? Basically which one is the most like DW rogue in DA2? I just started the Inquisition, and afte DA2, the melee rogue feels so terribly impotent.... None? Or perhaps it's best to say, all? Traversing the battle field quickly is available to all DW rogues via Evade and Flank Attack. Try triggering a Flank Attack on a locked target at what seems an impossibly far distance, and more often than not, it will work. Hook & Tackle is also available to all rogues. That said, Tempest kind of makes the matter moot with Flask of Lightning, since it slows down or stops time, so you can waltz over to whatever target you want and wail on them. I know that's not what you meant, but it's worth mentioning. Artificer combines well with Hook & Tackle + Spike Mine to the point where H&T might has well have been in the Artificer tree. Works even better with an archer. But if what you really want is DA2's just click on the target and you'll go there to hit them, that's gone from DAI in regular mode. It only works in Tactical.

I think I will try Tempest, because flasks sounds like fun and have a bit of Alchemistry flare. It will be some time still till I can unlock the specialization, but, well, eventually.,
