Why is Lexi even a "physicist"?

Bioware not even bothering to give her a face that looked different to every other non-peebee Asari in the game is ridiculous, big waste of Anne Boleyn.

Never forget, 5 years is not enough to make more then one face.

The real noodle scratcher here: does Lexi look like all the other asari, or do all the other asari look like her?

And it's silly (at least) believing that all of those who bought MEA would have not seen it. And kept silent about it. It’s literally faces after all, which look us back every time we speak with an Asari.

Additionally to Lexi's defense,

Asari are excellent choices to become physicians.

They have a long lifespan enough to specialize in all forms of xenobiology. Having spent some time at Oxford to catch up on humans is admirable. Also, to have a non human as a doctor who might actually benefit from a wide range of xenobiologic experience would be suitable for explorers in unknown space.
It's far better than having a crusty old human doctor based on Bones McCoy.

However, that being said, I'm rather disappointed that Lexi is vague and generally pleasant with no personality. She is supposed to be Peebee's antithesis, yet she expresses this as being unoffensive against Peebee's boisterousness, instead of being designed to be arrogant Asari purist to Peebee's unconventionality.

This, I feel, is the most significant loss of character to Lexi and a waste of Natalie Dormer, who excels as being manipulative with a face of an angel. (Margery Tyrel on GoT, or Anne Boleyn on Tudors)
As for real life Natalie Dormer, I think it's ironic that her real personality is more closer to Peebee than Lexi.
