Faceapp has successfully changed Cassandra Pentaghast from a man into a woman. Anyone know if we can get Bioware to make her look this great in game?

This is... creepy. She's already beautiful in game so I'll stay with the normal Cassandra.

Where was it. Oh, yeah. My personal favorite. I present to you... The Colt M1911A1 - the Second World War variant of the legend. The A1 variant is actually an improvement on the original M1911, incorporating "lessons learned" from the First World War. The A1 can be recognized from the original by the shape of the lower rear portion of the grip - both the original and many modern (looking at you, Kimber) variants have a simple uncomplicated edge. The A1 variant, as seen in service with the US Armed Forces in the 1940s, has a differently shaped grip under the grip safety, which is one of the chief differences from most handguns throughout human history (one other notable weapon utilizing this is the Israeli UZI submachinegun). The other notable difference is how the area behind the trigger is shaped. Original 1911s would have a sharper edge where the A1 (and modern variants, as this appears to be a modification that became universal from the A1 onwards) has been adjusted to allow a more comfortable grip on the trigger. The whole story of the 1911 begins during the Philippine-American War and the Moro rebellions, where the local warriors were often reported to keep charging despite being hit several times from .32 caliber sidearms. The US Military has decided to change it's current (at the time) sidearms for stronger variants, build around the .45 ACP "Manstopper" round. The .45 is rumored to be strong enough to guarantee taking the assailant out of the fight with the first shot, and some have began to joke that the .45 is what you use when a second shot is out of the question. As for the weapon's First World War deployment, there is an interesting story of an American infantryman trapped in No Man's Land by himself, with several Germans closing in. Upon expending all the rounds in his standart issue Springfield rifle, the infantryman switched to his 1911 as the Germans charged him, expecting to find a defenseless, easy kill. Instead, the American came out of that fight victorious. During the Second World War, so many were built that any post-war builds were cancelled, and instead the existing weapons were refurbished into pristine state. Several companies have been making 1911s, and of these, the ones made by Singer company are among the most prized, due to their low count (some 500 M1911A1 pistols were made by Singer). The legendary pistol remained in service with the US Armed Forces until the 1980s when they have been replaced with the M9 (Beretta 92FS). Despite this, many prefer to use the 1911, or, as it is referred to now in the US Marine Corps, the MEU(SOC) pistol.

Man, I'm still sad bitter about Vol'jin's death. It's just such bad writing. You can't even argue that it's a realistic death because, well, there isn't really a precedence for that and most importantly, it's not realistic in the slightest. He's in the middle of a close-quarter battle with a melee opponent yet he literally stops fighting to turn away from his opponent to yell something. It's not as if he tries to disengage or distract his opponent to do so: again, he literally just stops defending himself. There's not a modicum of sense in that especially since he's not inexperienced when it comes to melee fights. Also, why did one of his tusks break? Those things are freakin' tough and if his were that fragile, Vol'jin would have lost both of his own back in Mists of Pandaria from what he went through. It’s not that I don’t like Sylvanas. I may dislike the current course of the character but not the character itself. But for the Warchief of the Horde, I want someone like Thrall, Cairne or Vol’jin because I want a Warchief who legitimately cares about the Horde as people instead of just as means to an end. Man, I hope Vol'jin returns either as a loa or as a ghost. It's not as if this is unprecedented: Sylvanas is a corpse and Varian shared a body with the loa Lo'Gosh. I don’t see why the Horde can’t have a ghost as the Warchief: it’s not as if ghosts in the Warcraft universe are invincible or intangible so it wouldn’t make him overpowered in comparison to other characters. I know that maybe I should be more hopeful given what they've said but I dread Vol'jin's "legacy", as they put it, will be. data.whicdn.com/images/63785136/original.gif Please, let it be ghost Vol'jin, please, let it be ghost Vol'jin, please, please!

Your preferred Cassandra is more how she would have looked 20 years ago, around the time she rescued the previous Divine, when she admits herself she was a young woman. Cassandra in game is still an attractive woman but a mature one. Nothing wrong with that. She is still a woman.

Oh, joy. This bit of misogyny again. This thread certainly is evidence of blindness, since Cassandra is already perfect. However, I see no correlation between his poor taste and a hypothetical hatred of all women.
