Today I have been called by leading experts who analyzed my medical case and they informed that I do NOT suffer from a systemic illness, to be more precise, I do NOT have an auto immune disease which means healing me is theoretically possible. Only thanks to very specific conditions in my case they could get to the bottom of it and now I will receive still experimental treatments.
I would not be over exaggerating things when I told you that they were absolutely ecstatic to tell me that my case will cause a huge step forward in understanding and threating this illness, the team of experts said that I'm on the very frontier of medical science here.-
I feel like shit and the treatments wont be a walk in the park, and success is not guaranteed. But one cannot choose his fate I guess. At least all the suffering was not in wain.

I was busy all day. Got up and saw I had enough time to weed'n'feed the lawn before it rained. Funny how the lawn needs to be dry before application but then watered in immediately afterwards... Biochemistry I suppose. Then it rained, which was fine as it finished watering in that fertilizer; yay timing! Got the laundry going. Started cleaning up my workshop and getting my rolling workbox ready to load up into our rigging truck for the new show. When we get closer to the season premiere, I'll announce the title, but it will be on Starz probably airing in the fall if I had to guess. We start shooting in two weeks, been rigging the stages for a week now and we will be playing catch-up until the second episode I imagine; there is a lot of work to do and my crew has to wait on the work of a lot of different departments before we can turn all the lights on. Stuff like walls need to be put in place, doors, set dressing, etc. I won't be too active for a while as a result, which is a godsend for some of you Anyways, my cats were unimpressed by all the activity, and decided to share what we call the "kitty hot-plate". It is a glass shelf about 1.5in/4cm above my AV Tuner/Amplifier. That produces a fair amount of heat which radiates out of the vents on top of the case, heating the shelf like a griddle. These kids, I tell ya... What a life! Their day was pretty great.

It was good, so far. I've played with my dog, and also with my cat; went to the gym and managed to send some resumes (I hope I get a call or something ).

I just casually broke my personal deadlift record by doing 1 set of 9 repetitions of 200kg, thats +1 repetition than last week. And I could have done a tenth. After that I also matched my long standing overhead press record, couldn't quite break it. I'm in peak strength conduction right now and it feels amazing. I also got The Expanse season 1 & 2 and Bladerunner 2049 from Amazon ( like physical copies of my favorite movies and series), watched Bladerunner right away. Dammit, the female replicant Luv is so awesome, I totally luv her, she is my kind of badgirl.

Bah, my washing machine crapped out and I had to wash my laundry in the bathtub, by hand, way after midnight. But you gotta do what you gotta do. Life is all about tackling and overcoming pain . The motor bearing on which the belt that drives the drum runs on got damaged through metal fatigue, the additional friction made the motor overhead and cooked the copper wrapping. When I turn the washing machine on the motor lights up like a sparkler. Looks cool but its extremely dangerous and naturally detrimental to the proper function of the machine.

Nothing interesting happened today, which isn't so bad. I did get in a nice, long nap, plus laundry and a change of sheets. Considering the gym later but my back has been bothering me. I guess I could use the pool rather than weights.

(Warning: this is long, scroll down for Tl; DR)
4:33am snap awake, mind racing, focused on the work at hand and deadlines. Calm myself, back to sleep.
5:37 alarm goes, I am up and dressed in minutes, make sure I have all my shit, out the door by 5:50. My report time to the scout bus is 8am.
6:27 arrive at stages, immediately go to one area I am unhappy with and correct it to a "model" state, which is to be emulated going forward and the places where they needed to start over (sloppiness, this installation has to function for months and this portion is a rare "highly visible" part of my distribution, and needs to be well-dressed)
6:44 interruptions begin.
6:57 manage to complete example as I see my crew strolling in heads down, shaking off the cobwebs.
7:00 Take crew for a walk, express mild disappointment in some work and show specific worst example, display other bad example that I rigged to spec. Answered questions, met with my lieutenants and gave instructions for morning's work
8a-1pm Magic bus. Take notes, send text messages constantly, 90% nothing I give any shits about. Soul crushing waste of time for my OCD.
2-6pm meetings, meetings oh meetings
6:15pm Arrive to see boys wrapping up for the day. After surveying our roadblocks, agree with BB that we should let em go.
7:30 Send the rest home.
7:48 Everything safe for the evening; ports secure, temporary power turned off, getting in the car for home.
8:26pm home at last. Wife has made delicious white bean with ground turkey and spinach soup. I eat a bowl; besides two single serve packs of trail mix that's my caloric intake for the day. I am 6'3, and may get down to fighting weight again (90kg). At 212lbs now which is less than my "normal" by a couple pounds already...
9:04pm Last email followed up on. Wrapped for the day.
I was paid from 7am-7:30pm, with a half hour deducted for lunch.
::::

Sorry for the blog post, but showbusiness ain't all cocaine and blowjobs. Still waiting for that part, actually.

Went to cook dinner, discovered the dog peed in my mother's room. My mom passed away a few years ago so no one is using the bedroom. Dog knew I was going to cook and came up hoping for titbits. I glared at him and pointed to the puddle; look! look! what did you do? He immediately backed away with a very guilty expression on his face that set me and went to hide. Didn't even show his face when dinner was ready.

Today I witnessed my neighbors cute little ducks getting massacred by another neighbors poaching dog. There was nothing I could do to prevent the massacre, my screaming and running around didn't chase the dog away, he simply dodged me. Called the local hunter right away, unfortunately the dog was gone and the ducks torn to shreds by the time he arrived.
But stupid careless dog owners should be tied up and drowned in a barrel of feces. Slowly.

I got fairly well soaked at work today. I was blinded by a cloud of steam and was unaware of the spray, that I partly walked into and was partly blown onto me by strong wind gusts. Shoes and pants were completely wet. I was able to change pants, shoes and jacket to other I had in my office (I also keep spare underpants, but did not need those this time). But I had no spare socks, so I wrapped my feet in paper towels before sticking them into my dry shoes. (In the future I intend to keep spare socks as well).
Then I told everybody something along the lines of "F*** this!* and went home early.

I became the meat in a sandwich between a vip customer who is notorious for messing stuff up on the regular and some bosses who aren't really sure what goes on at their business on a regular. Got stuck doing all this random stuff right around the daily deadline time so I got to pass off work to the co-workers. Winningggg

My day was a lot better than yesterday until I read that they actually passed article 13 and basically set the stage for 1984 in Europe. Great stuff. I'd really like to discuss it with you guys but it's da eviiil politics so I mustn't speak of ugly real life things... at least I will have been preconditioned to only think happy thoughts through BSN! So, let me share instead that I managed to read the latest chapter of a friend's amazing (second) novel and have sent feedback. So that part of my day was nice. Now I'll watch some more Better Call Saul and try not to think about Europe's future.

Today took a sharp turn skyward for me. (skyward is up btw). So we have a water leak in our basement. Last night, we thought it was coming from our boiler/hot water tank. But our washing machine has also been kinda wonky lately. Simply stalling out during a rinse cycle, clothes coming out wetter then they should be, ect.
This morning, our floor was relatively dry. No puddles on the floor, but still a little damp from last night. And, when I ran of load of wash through our machine, our floor got wet again. So its looking like, instead of paying $3,500 for a new furnace & tank, we just need to repair/replace our washing machine (not sure what that costs). Which is a giant relief, to be sure. Not 100% on this yet, but when the floor is mostly dry before using the washer, and has puddles after, it seems like that might be the issue.

Have you checked your water drain pump filter thing (not the correct term for it, or even if yours has one)? Our washing machine went through a phase of not running a spin cycle properly and clothes came out pretty much full of water. Turned out that little drain part was all clogged up so it wouldn't drain at all.
