Today has been treating me decently well so far, knock on wood, but hey, it's still early! Yesterday though... oh boy. After a long and exhausting week at work, when Friday finally came I wanted to relax, so I sat down with a glass of wine, browsing the net. I suddenly got very sleepy so I thought I'd just lie down for five minutes... I woke up past midnight not knowing what year it was and if I should be getting ready for work. I barely managed to change into my pjs and passed out again, without showering or even washing my makeup off, which is something I never do, I can't stand going to bed dirty. But I just couldn't. Actually, this has been a really tough year, with very few moments of respite, and the past few years haven't really been better. I've been stressed pretty much non-stop, and I'm tired. But I don't really see things improving any time soon. Pfft, that's nothing, often there are times where i wake up not knowing who i am or where i am within the first couple of seconds. I get the where the heck am I at least once a month and cant figure out where I am. Only been at the same place for around 10 years or so, you think I'd have it figured out by now 😂

It's not a new feeling for me either, but usually I got it after some obvious overindulging. This time it was brought on by pure exhaustion, and I find that mildly concerning, since my life isn't really set to change much for the foreseeable future, but it kinda looks like my mental resources are draining. On the plus side, I'm genuinely impressed with my own ability to still do my job and maintain a good working/friendly relationship with my coworkers while at the same time seriously considering just not getting up every morning. Kinda morbidly curious to see if I can keep that up indefinitely or if I'll just crack one day.

Whenever I get that feeling I just sacrifice more of my life and sleep more. Not exactly what one wants , but only thing that helps.

After a month working at this place, I was fired because they found someone who would work more hours than I do. It is not technically my fault and yet, I can't stop blaming myself for that lmao. I feel... incompetent? and I am quite upset as it is the first decent job I've ever had (there are a lot of crappy jobs around here ). Plus, I did really like it so yeah, there's that. Sorry to hear that, things sometimes happen for a reason. Something else will turn up for you soon hopefully. Thank you!

Had a truly terrible day. Have had a lot of those lately, nearly every two to three days I get devastating news, I feel like sitting in a cage that gets smaller and smaller, in which I can hardly stand anymore. Sorry to hear it, Beetle. Sometimes all one can do is try to pull through, and I wish you the strength and courage to do that! As for me, I'm having a bit of a bad luck streak lately. Last Thursday, I got up only to find my bathroom floor flooded with water. Luckily, my beloved Ikea rugs soaked up most of it, so it wasn't all that bad. I was sure that my washing machine was the culprit - turns out it wasn't. It's the pipes underneath my sink. They are perfectly dry during daytime but at night, they are leaking somehow ... all valves and screws are tight, so I really have no clue what's going on. My guess is that someone screwed up during the plumbing maintenance that took place in my appartment building last week. Fortunately, my landlord is pretty great so he promised to take care of it so I don't have to deal with anything. I really just want this fixed - water damage is fucking annoying, and it can be costly if you're the one that screwed up and other appartments are affected by it.

Day 20 of my new diet which excludes all sorts of grain, tomatoes, paprika, garlic, alcohol, onions and foods that were fried or overly processed. I basically only eat various cooked meats/fish with potatoes, some vegetables and rice. Its a terribly boring diet but it works freaking WONDERS on my ruined guts.

Pretty normal day until I bit my freaking finger while eating a sandwich. I actually don't know how it's happened .It still hurts a little now, tbh.

That's because women are supposed to make sandwiches for men, not themselves. You paid the price for not knowing your place, woman! I have to cook all my food and prepare it for work. And its focking bland.

I receive today a very random compliment. I was walking down the street when a woman stopped me to tell me that "I had an awesome scent" and that "I smelled so good". I mean, thank you ma'am but that made me feel extremely uncomfortable. On a different note, I got one of the coolest birthday presents ever; a ticket for a System of a Down concert, their only gig in my country!

On a different note, I got one of the coolest birthday presents ever; a ticket for a System of a Down concert, their only gig in my country! Been on a System concert, lots of fun - and fun fact, I know more women who love Sys than men, that band seems to be strangely popular with the female specimen. Also that scent thing happened to me too, but in reverse, kinda. Couple weeks ago the waiter in a restaurant used a magnificent aftershave, that was probably the best I ever smelt. I was close to asking because I wanted to buy it for myself but decided not to, lest I'd give off weirdo vibes. Thing is, my eyesight is medicore, so are my other senses, but I have an exceptionally excellent nose.

You can add another female specimen to that counter. They're also going to play in my country next year, but I'm not much of a concert goer so I probably won't go see them. edit: I've somehow deleted the post I was responding to, but it's right above. System of a Down.

I've only been to two concerts in my life, one of Nightwish and the other was a Synthwave one that had Nina, Moondragon(who was the highlight of it imo), Parallels and some fellow who i forgot the name of.

Today I went into the local nerd shop to buy me some Magic The Gathering cards. The clerk did compliment my mustache and jokingly asked if I was preparing for Movember. I replied that I look like that all the time, then they went like O_____________o.

I've had a blistering headache today, started right when I woke up and only got worse as the day progressed. So I took painkillers because I could not stand it any longer, and the pain went away. Now I am lifting weights and holy crap, I don't know what the painkillers are doing to me but suddenly I can lift more. Guess doping IS a thing.-

Don't we all have limiters, preventing us from hurting ourselves?
Yesterday I went to my first ever Halloween party. That was fun..but exhausting.
Today I was drained all day. I did basically nothing. I did walk my dog though, and met a very friendly pitbull. She got lose, and was saying hi to everyone that passed by. The owner of the house she was currently visiting, came out, and we called her owner. And...I think he was either High as a kite, or mentally damaged somehow. Cause when he answered the phone...idk how to describe it.
us: 'hi, do you own [insert name on dog tags]?' him: 'yea', us: 'we have your dog here' him: 'yea', us: 'can you come and get her?' him: 'could you bring her to me?', us: 'no, I already have a dog and she doesn't know where you live' him: 'yea', us: 'are you coming to pick her up?' him: 'yea, I'll come' [give him the address] [silence like he's waiting for us to say something]
The house owner and I shared a few good laughs while we waited. And the pitty, was super friendly. So he clearly did something right at least
