Personally, my favorite season of the Walking Dead was the second one. My favorite was New Frontier. It seemed to have the greatest degree of end states for Javi and his family.

I think about my only real complaint about the demo is the control scheme. It annoys me that they've added the whole Shift + Q to the control scheme. To me, it feels unnecessary and even more so when I saw that they kept Press Q. I also couldn't use my mouse to click on things. Instead, I had to manually move characters and click F when I wanted to look at or use something. I prefer the old and simpler control scheme and I don't see why they changed it. I think the primary reason for the control scheme is because of the common complaint about Telltale games being a little "samey". Like, every title since Walking Dead had the same control scheme and some critics are wondering if Telltale could do something different. This is probably their little experiment at something new and different. It's kind of like how the first season just had the action be simple point and clicking, but after Wolf Among Us introduced a combat system that had a bit more variety in the QTE's and saw that it worked, they stuck with that for the rest of the games. I think they're going to be paying attention to the feedback this season and either keep this new scheme or revert to the old one.

Personally, my favorite season of the Walking Dead was the second one. My favorite was New Frontier. It seemed to have the greatest degree of end states for Javi and his family. While New Frontier did admittedly have some really high stake choices near the end (I still can't get over myself during the Tripp vs Ava decision), my problem with it was primarily that the story felt pretty rushed with no real chance of really getting to know the characters well. I also found Javi and his family to be pretty generic compared to some of the other characters in the franchise.

I take that back. Michonne had the rushed storyline being only 3 episodes long as oppossed to five. But it made up for it with some pretty creative visuals and this idea of someone still haunted by their past.

So... anyone saw episode 1 yet? Because that ending... AJ is a fucking sociopath. He kills Marlon even if he surrenders and agrees to walk away. Not like I cared about the guy but AJ was completely out of line. The worst part was his reaction right after. It was like he just killed a bug that was annoying him. No strong reaction whatsoever... I mean, shit... They made me completely give up on his character in 20 seconds. I don't sympathize with characters who do shit like that on a whim. Especially considering the circumstances.

I would that to be a foolish reason because it falls into the category of changing things just for the sake of changing things. If the changes to the control scheme isn't to support a new feature or to make things more dynamic then it's unnecessary, in my opinion.

Well, in regards to the setting and approach for Walking Dead Season 4, I think this control scheme is supposed to increase the idea of properly exploring environments, giving players the freedom to look around without having to worry about when the camera switches to a new view and causes the movements to become backwards (something I've run into and hated in previous games). Also, it makes the "unscripted" combat portions a bit easier to understand in my opinion.

I like that Telltale is kind of starting to build on the character relationships since Batman: The Enemy Within. I thought that was kind of a cool touch in that game and kind of helps with the whole "how your choices are shaping your story."

Keep in mind: He's a child who has spent his entire life *ss deep in a zombie apocalypse. His own mother tried to eat him shortly after birth. He has no clue what a cop or a firefighter is. He has little concept of people who protect others. And given the context of his and Clem's conversations, they've spent most of their time fighting for survival (he mentions the last time he felt safe was on a ranch "before the blood") He's growing up in a violent, pitiless world. I suspect that this storyarc may involve Clem tempering (or encouraging) this behavior

In all seriousness, what I meant was that even though I'm not the best at cosplaying, it always feels weird to me to say I want to dress up as a girl character mainly because I look at dressing up as honoring a character and it kind of feels disrespectful to me to have a guy dress up as a girl character unless specifically gender-bent.

Changing topics here. While I greatly enjoy the Walking Dead, I will say that probably my favorite Telltale Game is currently Tales From The Borderlands. The reasons are mainly because of its stylistic visuals, the use of music, the story having some good twists here and there, and the comedy. I like my stuff to have some comedy in it.
