What's the point of doing this? The franchise is dead. MEA killed it. An HD re-release of the OT seems about as likely at this point as George Lucas releasing the theatrical cuts of episodes IV-VI.
I used to get really angry and frustrated playing this game while trying to convince myself it was fun, or would become fun. By the end it was more like eating a bowl of wet hair while sobbing.

You know, it just occurred to me that this definition actually doesn't work so well with video games, gambling, or games in general. After all, if you roll a die over and over and expect the same result every time, that would be pretty insane. Factoid of the day: The insanity definition above is not just something people say. It is a quote from Albert Einstein. So its genius right? Unfortunately not. It is from the later 2/3rds of Einsteins career and part of his fierce arugmentation against quantum mechanics. In the same vein as "God does not play dice". We know today that he was completely wrong and random events are in fact a huge part of modern physics. I was under the impression this quote was a bit more apocryphal. Maybe you know better but either way it holds absolutely no meaning today as it's just a legal term to distinguish if someone committed a crime while being aware of reality. OT: I still log on to collect mission funds and buy gear every week even though I haven't played in 2-3 weeks. If there are no major changes that make the game fun that 2-3 weeks will stretch. Still, it will be hard to uninstall because I am powerless at the feet of sunk cost fallacy.

I keep using the wrong command for my ops packs and end up refilling my ammo while panicked. Then I die and use a medi gel. Then I either remember the ops pack and TCPs got switched or I repeat the process.

Physio stamp of approval. But they're mostly dead and had no plans to travel to andromeda. Maybe a "Batarian Stow-away" from the Quarian ark who specializes in consuming tech for nutrition; he could eat remnant and weapons from the other two factions. He'd be like the biological manifestation of sabotage from the OT. Or a "Batarian Lone Survivor" who gets huge passive bonuses when he's the last squad member alive in a wave.

energy drain's built in damage bonus vs shields is multiplicative. Potential for very high damage vs shields when stacking power bonuses.. Ditto for overload .. (damage vs shields will scale really well with extra power bonuses) The extra 15% vs syntetics did not manifest vs observer shield. Might be strictly a damage bonus vs syntetic health. 160 * (1 + 1 ) = 320 vs observer shield 160 * (1 + 0.5) * (1 + 1) = 480 cloak vs observer shield So only the base shield modifier is multiplicative? Do the tree evolutions contribute to the multiplicative bonus or function as an additional, separate, modifier? I've heard conflicting thoughts on this. Question also applies to other defense-modified powers (incinerate, flamethrower). Sorry if already asked; I did try searching the thread for this info first.

The specific consumable drop rate is so inconsistent that I hate having to build around ammo powers. At least with E-tech there is a massive incentive to do so. For the huntress it's just the only way to make her power build effective. I'd be so excited if dark channel returned that I might throw up a little but at this point I'd be happy with any decent primer on her (shockwave, nova, etc).

People trip over themselves to praise stealth grid but I've never been able to enjoy it. I much prefer tactical cloak. I also save my ammo powers for elemental techers so I don't have much use for the huntress which is a shame because she was top-3 for me in ME3.

The shadow sniper actually rips through enemies now if you can aim. tried Ruzad for a game on the turian agent, seemed good. The reload is still really akward though. I love what they did with the shadow. Ramping damage slays especially on a sustained fire build.

As of now the characters aren't as well-differentiated as they were in ME3. Some are uniquely effective (TSol, asari adept) but for the most part your success will be determined by the weapon you equip. Charger if you're new; Raptor if you've progressed to advanced packs; a few others once you get to a higher level (vanq, talon, equalizer, piranha, hurricane, and a few others).

Just because you say you aren't racist doesn't make it true, you cockholster... dude, my best friend is filipino. I also have a black friend who's in the military(nellis air force base). The thing with them is that they don't uphold their negative stereotypes Most my friends are white not because i'm racist, it's because of common familiarity. For the most part go to any high school or college clique. You will see middle eastern hang out with other middle eastern, asians hanging out with asians, blacks hanging out with blacks, whites hanging out with whites. ...therefore I cannot be racist. It's science.

I don't think the base cooldowns are the problem. ME3 powers didn't have crazy fast cooldowns. The major difference is changing the weight system to penalty-only and removing the bonus for being underweight. However, since there is no way in hell thats going to change our most realistic hope is a global buff to base cooldowns or much better evolutions for recharge bonuses.
The new weight system sucks. It was supposed to encourage carrying of two weapons but I still mainly use only one anyway. When I do take a second I hardly use it because there are no good utility guns anymore (OG scorpion, acolyte, etc).

Geth bombers were manufactured out of thin air for the sole purpose of busting up the FBWGG farmeta. So there is precedent in the series for this kind of MP-specific addition. Cerberus had dragoons added from nowhere as well.

Remnant desperately needs another mid-tier mook. With the cap on active nullifiers and destroyers we are left with a ridiculous amount of observers and breachers to fill up the spawn budget. Or (my fantasy) buff assemblers and remove breachers completely, and I suppose change their names.

Likely true. I was just grasping for a data-supported reason that I, personally, perform better with the Indra than the raptor. I thought the sheet might give me some insight. Does the calculator take accuracy and stability into account? No, because... I can't stand trying to keep it on target with all of the fucking fireworks going off. This has been my experience, also - but I am not sure how to factor in accuracy and stability in dps calculations... ...I have no idea how I would account for it in a formula. I've gotten used to the Indra's recoil. Many will never bother. Different strokes.

Your calculator is wrong Even on a floatng havoc with active turbocharge the indra is adhi-crud. Raptor is much better. Likely true. I was just grasping for a data-supported reason that I, personally, perform better with the Indra than the raptor. I thought the sheet might give me some insight.
