I'd really like it if we had NPC party members that we could take with us into the world as backup for when we don't have friends online. When your out and about and one of your friends wants to join in they can take the party member's place or if your friend has to go out/eat dinner/etc. one of your party members can hop in to the group so your squad isn't down a man. Plus it would keep the tradition of BW having interesting and well-written party members.
Anthem might be Bioware's version of Destiny but if they offered that, story and lore that's not tied to an outside of game app, and offered a superior endgame mechanic than the RNG acquisition of gear and Light systems Destiny employs then I'd gladly jump ship for Anthem.

I chose the Moshae, the Angara hold a deep respect for her and it shows that the Initiative is committed to working alongside its new Angaran allies.

The Andromeda Initiative did mention that they used a Mass Relay telescope that the Geth built.
They probably were using it to observe the position and movements of the Reapers, but as far as contingencies go attempting to flee to Andromeda wouldn't be that hard for them since all they really need is power to keep their systems running.

Efvra mentions that the Kett haven't sent ships or gone back to their homeworld since they arrived in Helius. It would be interesting if the Kett were refugees like the Initiative are, and the 'upper levels' are their version of Nexus administration. Instead of trying to adapt planets for habitation using terraforming like the Initiative and Remnant do, the Kett integrate the genetics of the local inhabitants to better adapt themselves to the local environment.

I'm a little surprised that there's no conflict or concern on the part of the Angara or the other species of the Initiative that humanity has set up shop on the seed world/station that can render all of the other terraformed worlds in Helius uninhabitable with the push of a button.

The Kett overall are a little strange as villains thematically.
We have the Initiative coming into Helius to settle while there are already local inhabitants. But outside of first contact and us being enemies against the Kett there's not really much conflict brought up over us using our superior tech and knowledge to colonize the area. It isn't really talked about how human colonialism on Earth, Krogan colonialism after the Rachni Wars, the First Contact War, etc. have caused issues in the past which could happen again given how poorly the mission is going.
Meanwhile we have the Kett which seem to be this empire that's moving in, abducting the natives and indoctrinating them into their religion like the European colonists of antiquity. The Exaltation process strips away individual distinctiveness and adds it to the rest of the Kett so they're sort of a mashup of the Necromongers from Riddick, the Covenant from Halo, and the Borg from Star Trek. This would be interesting if they were also trying to colonize Helius but other than converting all life in the area and using Remnant tech to kill all who resist there's not much there.
Saren was a compelling villain because he had understandable, albeit misguided reasons for his actions. Imagine if the Kett were refugees like we were and the Archon was their equivalent to a Pathfinder. That would raise some questions as to who was actually in the right.

Did the ending explain anything about Meridian and its creators (the Jardaan)? Any audio logs we can find that do? And what was up with those genetic templates of Angara back in the control centre? Were those explained at all? Not from what I've seen. We know that the Jardaan had the capability to create life and that they were forced to launch Meridian out into space with the intent to return to Helius later to resume the terraforming process. They also mention that they can't stand against 'The Opposition' and their weapon, which very well might be the Scourge (it's artificial in nature and the Kett didn't cause it).
The interesting thing is that Peebee mentions that the vault on Eos only stopped working a few hundred years ago and Jaal mentions that a lot of Angaran history pre-Scourge is oral in nature. Plus the Mass Relay telescopes that the Initiative used to observe Helius prior to launch didn't show any sign of the Scourge 600 years prior to the arks arriving in the cluster. This means that the Remnant left relatively recently and could very well still be around somewhere, this might also mean that the Angara are a lot younger a species than previously thought.

Based on the playthrough I watched it looks like the Kett indoctrinate the individuals into their religion (for lack of a better term) with 'Exaltation' being the final step.
In a way I think the Kett are supposed to represent the dark side of exploration and colonialism. They might be a part of a much larger empire that considers itself superior to all other life and tries to either convert any civilization they come into contact with into more Kett or kills them outright.
