Try running in borderless window mode. Worked for me, I had similar glitch after Win10 creator update. There is no fix and there won't be now due to stopped support and the glitch is around since mid-April. I was running in borderless mode. I tried going to windowed mode, and that works. I can ignore the borders. Thanks for the tip. BTW the problems also came after a Win10 creator update. I restored to before the update, but the problem persisted.

I use a high end Nvidia GTX970 graphics card, which worked perfectly Wednesday, but on Thursday the game wouldn't screen.
The game is running correctly behind a black screen, with only the white cursor blinking. If I switch to the motherboard graphics, the game plays, but the graphics are horrid. No thanks.
ME3 and DAI run fine, so there is nothing wrong with the graphics board. The problem is in MEA. I came across a notation in the Support Forum that BW acknowledges this problem, and is working on a solution.
They suggested going back an earlier driver, which I did with no success.
So I can't play MEA until BW finds a fix.

I don't like Krogans, but decided to level up the Krogineer. What a lumbering beast. Everything he does seems in slow motion. Reloading, running, aiming, spinning around. Seems like he was always out of shields. Every time a dog bit him, he died.
Granted there was a little lag, three bars, but that was enough to make the enemies dance around this guy like he was asleep. Headbutts missed half the time. And he's so big that low cover is useless. I finished every game out of gel packs, and that was silver.
ME3MP had movement boosters, does MEAMP? Otherwise, this guy goes back to the closet.

You mean, I finally won't be able to escape full knowledge of how many dozens of worthless cards I get for each one useful card?
How depressing. Why would I want that?

I ran out of elemental ammo. Bought five basic packs, five jumbos and three experts. Got ONE ammo card. Is there a better way to buy ammo cards?

Why the hell is that console key still active? Try playing a gold vanguard without sometimes pressing the tilda along with the charge key. Then try making any other key work. you're dead before you know why the fuck nothing works.

Most likely not, with the new Red Dead coming. It's my most anticipated game in years. Getting burnt out with MEAMP. I will take a small break and jump into single player. Only have 5 hours in. My suggestion, do a SP game and then follow it with a New Game Plus- Insanity. That will be much fun. And then do a New Game-Insanity scratch starting at level 1. Really challenging and great fun. I find MP to be a lot less fun than NG insanity SP.

I did ME3-MP almost every day until MEA, and it was still fun, still a challenge to play gold or do solos with all the different characters. MEA, I hate to say, is just grind, grind, grind to level up to do enough damage to play gold well. The grind is sooooooooo long that I might lose interest before I get to gold.

MEA emphasizes raw power over skill and tactics. ME3 allowed a skillful player to play gold, even solo gold, with a squishy low-dmg kit. But MEA combat is just a shitstorm. Hi dmg is a must; and that means better weapons and high ranks.
Granted I'm only MEA-MP for a month, but my strongest weapons are still charger, avenger, katana, and Viper. I can only do silver with my 2-3 best characters with those weapons. BW has me caught between a lot of basic packs to close out the common stuff but never getting anything good, or affording a very few advanced packs with bronze/silver money and having the common stuff block out the better weapons.
It's Catch 22.

i hate players who dont do the objectives, the ones who run all over the map and shoot while the others are in the hack/transfer zone Silly. I have been alone in a hack many times. The rest of team running around shooting things may have made the hack slow, but almost enemy-free. Now and then I might get something to shoot. = SUCCESS! Why so much complaining? It's just another way to do the mission. Where does this idea come from that there is only one best way to do things? Any competent player should be able to adapt to any conditions.

This is a carryover problem from ME3:MP. I don't understand it myself. It's no fun playing a squishy character unable to dish out damage. Especially in MEA. Combat in Andromeda is just a shitstorm; ME3 allowed for some tactics.

When the shields go down and I'm in a shitstorm, I cloak to recover. That brief few seconds of agro that go elsewhere is trivial, compared to the lengthy agro that goes elsewhere if I go down. Plus, it's a worse effect on the team if someone is down in a crowd and no one can get there before the big stomp. There are many things that make some missions harder than others, but this one is pretty small.
If anyone can't handle that, they shouldn't be in gold. If you don't like it, leave the lobby if an infiltrator shows up. I sometimes see players leave silver lobbies when I show up with a low-rank character and my weak common weapons; even bronze sometimes. Doesn't bother me, we all have to level up and a cloak helps.

I hate to ask basic questions, but the wiki is useless and the BSN search function is nearly useless.
I started playing multiplayer last week. What are siphon weapons? Or those other categories? Does the sniper rifle still hit with half damage when hip fired? When an MP equipment gives 20% more damage to combat powers, are those the powers in the SP combat tree?
My impression so far is that if I want to play several kinds of characters with decent guns, it's going to be a long, long, long grind up the ladder. Worse than ME:MP. Twenty ranks for each character times what, 20 characters? Times all the weapon ranks. Frack me.

Movie night was a top highlight. And all the one-liners in the Nomad. And everything Liam; don't know why he gets all the hate, especially from everyone riding the Nomad with him. I did all the insanity Meridian battles with PeeBee and Liam--worked great.
I would say the top for me was Sara and Lexi in the MedBay, while Drack told the story of his life. Drack's character development was superlative. The best of a lot of good character stories.
And so many voice actors were simply great. (Scot excepted, IMHO; he was emotionally one-dimensional). Archon, Alex and Drack were exceptionally well done. And Lexi was wasted on a small part. Sara was the perfect blend of newbie and badass.
And flying the Nomad balls-out on H-047c and Voeld and Elaaden and Kadara, listening to the wisecracks from the back seat.
There is so much good in this game, it's just sad that some players can't get past the few mistakes.
[edit] In four playthroughs, two insanity, I could not once bring myself to the "bang" moment. It was so utterly out of Ryder's character, it would have ruined the story for me.

There is no game without story and choices; everyone will take that one. This poll would be more useful if you take that one out and let us choose from the rest.

Completed New Game Insanity from scratch Level 1. Extremely stingy with resources and very unforgiving of small mistakes, but loads of fun.
Anyway, If you get the complete ending, it's clear that there are tons of clues that the story isn't over. The Kett are still in Helius, there is a Kett civil war brewing, the Benefactors are lurking somewhere with who-knows-what agenda, the Jardaan might notice the activation of Meridian and investigate, the scourge needs explaining and resolution. I suspect a sequel. Or a Trilogy.
There are ample plots for DLC drops finishing up the loose ends of settling Helius and reconciling all the species.
Frankly, I hope that all happens. I really liked the game, despite the minor imperfections.

I have been using Incinerate->throw fire combos, and the rank five of containment as you describe. The combos are very strong, but don't seem to do much against shielded enemies.
My suspicion is that the Containment buff applies to any type of combo, but only if it has a biotic component like throw. Since throw is weak against shielded enemies, so is the combo.
Of course, that could be all wet. Just my observation. I always gunned the enemy until the shields were down, then fire comboed them.
If i'm right, then incinerate->charge would be stronger against shielded enemies.

None of the above. The DLC I would like to see is the final drive to push the Kett out of Heleus entirely. Especially if it included raids into Kett territory, and discovery of what makes them tick. There would have to be some finality to the ending.
This ending of MEA left the Kett in place and their budding civil war developing. A good DLC would deal with all that.
Perhaps that sets the stage for a MEA:2, the Kett Wars. Perhaps Heleus allying with a Kett faction to depose the predatory elements of their society. At any rate, this story is not concluded with the ending of MEA to date.

I've gone through four playthroughs clearing the flophouse, normal, hardcore, insanity NG+, and now insanity from scratch. Every time, the security console counter is stuck at 2/3. It never goes to 3/3 and unlocks the door. When the fight is over, I can cycle through the consoles and it always stays at 2 out of 3.
