My one true video game love that BioWare denied me as a LI.
As I noted on the BSN Prime: 10/10 would take out for a fancy dinner before bending over the kitchen counter.

Ah, my favoritist thief, companion and all around cheeky buddy. If there's any babe i wanted to romance in ME, it was her. But noo-ooo, can't be had! *sigh* At least she made for a pretty cool companion, the weirdness with talking with her aside.

I kinda hate that Kasumi is a DLC character. It stopped her from getting enough air time in ME3 and she deserved so much more. She's the perfect foil to over-sexified Miranda, nerdy Tali, nerdy Liara, and punch you in the balls Jack.
I did a survey today asking your favourite squad mate from ME2. I had to answer Garrus....couldn't stop myself, but Kasumi is my second choice. I'd cosplay her in a heartbeat.

I'm still mad we didn't even get an option to chill on the couch with her in ME2, let alone a romance.

FTFY And I would've preferred her over any of the actual human waifus that we got(much like how i'd prefer to have had Zaeed for a manfu for femshep).

I would have completed a maleshep playthrough if she was a romance option. She's an awesome squadmate; her shadow strike was crazy powerful and it was hilarious to see her causing chaos amongst enemies. She was like a yo yo sniper!

I fell in love with her the moment I / we met her. Then they gave us her backstory and fook mi.....they just killed off the love of her life...so that relationship would have gone nowhere. I just named my full bred akita puppy Kasumi. That mission with her, was the most fun I had in the entire game.

I just love Kaisumi, I always have her in my squad in ME2(shadow strike is awesome). I just hope they never do another DLC companion ever again.

Kasumi should return as a full fledge romance option; with an actual dialog wheel, too. I really miss her.

Evil thought: did anyone consider letting Jacob die on the suicide mission just to get rid of possible competition? I know my male Shep's teeth grated every time she kept gushing over Jacob. Don't think he's enough of an arse to actually do it.

Damn you B-Ware you dangled Kasumi in our face but denied us.Kasumi was and always will be vastly superior over Tali hell she was a the human equivelant of Tali in alot of aspects as well as a sarcastic snarky thief oh and I'll ****ing say it she had a better Personality as well deal with it.

Don't think he's enough of an arse to actually do it. Yep. Especially after Kasumi's abominable line in ME3 about how Jacob could get her back on the Normandy. After that it got harder to save him every time. Haven't actually killed him yet. Helped that I could cut that off though. I suppose I should paste my guide for that here.

Kasumi ME3 Terrible Dialogue Cancellation Guide (reposted from Bioware Official Forums thread)For people who object to some of Kasumi's lines in the Hanar Diplomat mission like I do (or as future reference for myself), here's a quick unsavory dialogue cancellation guide. Concept by Golden Owl aka StayFrosty05. The basic idea is to override the dialogue by activating other dialogue on the Citadel. For best results walk over to the overriding activation as soon as you've activated the terminal. The rest is timing. This guide is written under the assumption that you do the mission as soon as you get it and you haven't explored any other Citadel dialogue, particularly in the Docks Holding Area. Otherwise some options may not be available. Generally anything that triggers a full dialogue wheel mode will definitely work, while some click-to talk NPCs will not. First line: Shepard offers Kasumi immunity from Bau, her response: "What if I join up? Last time I did that, you roped me into a suicide mission" Said at: First terminal, Citadel Embassies Override: Avina Action: Activate Avina right when Shepard's line ends. Second line: "It all comes back to the war, and you trying to rope everyone into it" Said at: Second terminal, right when you get off the elevator at the Docks Holding Area Override: Refugee-official argument past the security scan. There is also an Avina nearby but you may not get there in time. Action: Support either official or refugee Third line: "Jacob could get me back on the Normandy" Said at: Third terminal at the back of Docks Holding Area Override: Garrus (by Shepard VI), Note: Neither the Shepard VI nor the sales clerk* works for this. Action: Talk to Garrus Sadly you can't do anything about the worst offender, "There's no way you're recuriting me to fight in a galactic war" because it's in the cutscene after the mission. And I'm personally on the fence about overriding the second line since Shepard does retort fairly well and the rest of it does make sense (if you destroy the graybox at least, which I always do). But, if you want at least 30% less Kasumi-related cringe, there you go. *Ironic since the sales clerk sounds a lot like Kasumi with a slur. It may actually be Kym Hoy voicing her.

Something that I wonder is if Jacob knew she had a crush on him and if so, why didn't he respond about it? If not, why didn't Kasumi let him know? Because from Shadow Broker onwards the writers got busy turning her into a charicature of her former self. She went from a thief who didn't want to attract attention by virtue of her profession and only cloaked to not get oogled by a pervy crewmember to a socially inept stalker and finally an offensive Japanese stereotype by Citadel.

Poor Jacob can't catch a break, I think it all stems from envy too. Guy can't help it if his game is so tight as to seduce Miranda, Femshep and Kasumi here.

Miranda friendzoned him and Femshep settled. Kasumi just digs the muscles. But really, no woman's gonna stick around long after hearing about the priiiize. Unless he knocks her up I guess.

It's a shame too because Stolen Memories was hands down my favorite dlc for ME2. I'll always be grateful to Kasumi for giving Femshep that beautiful dress, the Locust, a change up in gameplay and that poignant story of heartbreak. As for her crush on Jacob, it was compensation for him being avoided by so many female gamers, wasn't it?

But yeah, Kasumi was the best addition to ME2 and the best DLC until Javik. She never left my side. I loved her shadow strike, her banter, everything. Her mission was also the closest thing my INFILTRATOR got to actually infiltrating something.
