I'm getting there on the post. It's all in my head but I took a day off today visiting the wider world!

What part of the wider world did you explore, if you don't mind sharing?

And that's great! I have it on good authority that you need to see more of the world if you expect to keep exploring the Fade!

I live on an island off the south coast of England. It's a magical island and anything that is not the island is the wider world. The islanders are often mocked for being behind the times but that is part of its charm. My house is an upside down house with the bedrooms downstairs and the living rooms above. It is built into the hill side so the bedroom windows only look out one way. I often joke that part of my home is my hobbit hole. At the back, away from the road, I look out over my fields and on to the Firestone Forest. It is easy to imagine you are back in an earlier time and I think it helps the creative spirit.
