Right I'm standing in the Courtyard of the Keep. I imagine I could get this far without being challenged because on the whole with those big castles you could do that. So what do I see and who do I present myself to. Just don't want to contradict anyone on this. Then presumably I am taken to the Great Hall to meet Jon. It would be helpful to know the décor but not essential. I was thinking I would announce myself and my purpose and then stop, because presumably Jon would need to answer me.

Yeah that's it. Perhaps one or two conversations between the two before the time skip?

Shouldn't Teyrn Jon reply first?

And do you want my character to meet Teyrn Jon the way Ellas is, or just to start at point where she's already gone through meeting him and is now waiting in location X for the other members and then she can reflect on her meeting with him and write a letter informing her employer of all that's going on?

Added: I would prefer waiting at some location or heading to a meeting location, like a tavern, to meet the others, and reflecting on her meeting with Teyrn Jon. I can message you about the specifics of how it went down with a slight collab and this way heathenoxman can skip ahead to arriving at the meeting location too, if they so wish to do so. It'll be simpler than all of us going one after the other to the Keep to hear from Jon and then be sent somewhere regardless.

All right so the plan so far:

All characters should meet up at the keep and probably interact with each other.

Lavinia and Cyrus should arrive after you three.

With gervaise21 help, I'm going to do an NPC post with the Teryn doing corrupt things and briefing the group.

I like NeverlandHunter idea of having all three characters meeting in a Tavern somewhere and Neverlandhunter can writer her letter there.

It wouldn't make much sense that Ellas didn't take notice of Rhian in the room if she was there already and it wouldn't make much sense for her to burst in at this point, just as Ellas was announced.

The notice on the board told people to present themselves to the Teyrn and didn't give a specific time to do so, so I would think that the candidates would go to meet the Teyrn at differing times.

Why don't I just have Rhian waiting somewhere in private, finishing up her letter, and mulling over her previous meeting with the Teyrn. It's as good as actually meeting him without having to push the character here and there.

I think that's good and we can accelerate things a bit.

Okay, things are seemingly a little confused right now, so I made a rough timeline-- feel free to correct (many a guesses were made here and I know Thedas has its own calendar months, but I'm not going through the headache of attempting that because I don't think the months match up nice and easy). Also, smilesja said we were in early spring, so I'm going off that.

Early April: Lavinia and Cyrus meet

Late April: Rhian sets off on a ship from Denerim to Gwaren

Later April: Ozek chills out in the Brecilian Passage a distance from Gwaren

Even later April: Rhian arrives in Gwaren and learns about the Teyrn's task

A day later April: Rhian gets outfitted at the markets and then meets Teyrn Jon at his Keep

Perhaps that night April: Ellas entertains at a tavern and then goes and meets with the waifs under his care

The next day April: Ellas, under a pseudonym, meets Teyrn Jon.

Probably the same day April: Rhian sends a letter off and reflects
