Usually, I can commit to a new game, playing it through to the end. But when two new games I'm interested in drop at the same time, or when I'm re-playing games, I do get tempted to play the other ones in between leading to: Losing track of where I was, and forgetting combat mechanics. Example: I enjoyed Shadow of Mordor and like Assassin's Creed, so those are good investments for me. But both drop within days of each other (barring delays) in October. Can I really ignore one of them and have a proper playthrough of the other for a month or two? Tricky... Do you struggle to stay on target?

Im so bad at staying on target Its VEERRRYYY rare ill commit 100% to a game and play nothing but that until ive completed it, I dabble a lot... ill just play what I want when I want and swap between games a lot The thing is, lots of games dont have much variety or get kinda boring after a while... like shooters and open world games Its also very easy for me to get distracted by other stuff since Im on console and pc I think the only game Ive committed to 100% in recent times and played nothing but until 100% completion (100% completion being a very rare thing for me anyway, I often complete the stories of games but Ive never really got a platinum trophy... before now anyhow) is Life Is Strange, which is kinda weird because where lots of games have exciting gameplay with lots of explosions and beautiful graphics and huge worlds... my only platinum trophy and one of the only games ive actually managed to complete a playthrough of without being interrupted is the one where its gameplay consists of looking at things and talking to people But yeah, there arent so many games which do just grab my attention and constantly hold it

I usually do stay on track. I start a game and finish it, no matter how tempting others are. I finally had an issue with this when I started Divinity: Original Sin. I love the combat but the story is so hard to get into that I'm still in the first city area and I haven't touched it in months

Just like I can watch more than one TV shows alternately, I can stay on more than one target in gaming too. If I find more than one game worthy of attention, I play them alternately, usually on alternate days. However, it's well possible that one of them captures my attention so completely that I will stop playing the other one, but that hasn't happened in years.

I usually only play one game, and I like to try and marathon it. Lately I've started a few and stopped, which is annoying, coz I tend not to pick it back up even if I really like it. I buy so many games though I generally can't think of what to play these days, ugh.

I am usually beginning to end person, but lately I'd been torn between Andromeda, Origins and DA2. All of them are very much "new" to me, and I enjoy all three. They sort of create a perfect game together, almost complimentary. In fact I don't even want to finish them. Just kind of play and enjoy. I've done 2pt of Andromeda and DA2 and one of Origins.

I'm usually pretty good about only playing one game at a time, but right now I am having a horrible time picking which game to play. I think it is mostly due to a large number of replays and older games, so each one is not holding my interest enough to be exclusively played.
- Breath of the Wild (put quite a few hours in, still enjoying, but feeling a bit of fatigue) - MEA 2nd/3rd replays (started 2nd playthrough with female, then M/M Jaal patch hit and I started 3rd with male) - DA2 replay - KOTOR2 replay - NWN first playthrough - NWN2 first playthrough
