So I've got one achievement left to unlock, which is to beat the Harvester from Golems Of Amgarrak on Hard or Nightmare. I spent 5 hours trying last night. My warden was imported from Awakening, DW rogue capped at level 35. She did start out with Duelist, Assassin, and Shadow as her specializations but at one point I reset her specs with that tome and changed Duelist for Legion Scout. Before that, I had made Jarrik and archer with the tome. I'm not letting the companions free range, I set their tactics and use the golem for group heals and cleansing auras only. Yet it and the two brothers get wiped in Phase 1, around the time the Harvester is down to half health. I did make it to Phase 2 twice on my own, and timed the kill switch to wipe the skeletons out at the beginning of the phase. I just can't seem to get the Harvester's health down enough in time for it to regenerate health and before I know it, more skeletons spawn. I found myself more or less running around in circles for 30 minutes or more because whatever I was (or wasn't) doing didn't take the Harvester's health down enough before I had to run around a bit to chug potions, or whatever.
From things I read, Arcane Warrior seems to be the most preferred choice for this fight, but I would really like to finish it with the warden I have. I might have a mage warden from my Awakening files (I clear them out every so often) I could use but I'm not sure what gear I carried over from Origins with her. That and I really just want to finish Golems Of Amgaarak and put this whole experience behind me. I'd only played it once before, on normal and that was before I got Awakening. I knew it would be insanely hard but I thought with the Awakening import it wouldn't be **as** bad. I have a ton of bombs, potions, and poisons on hand so I believe I have plenty of stock to make it happen with my current warden. Or so I hope!
Any tips or advice would be awesome. Thanks!

NVM, I went back and tried again and got it after another 3 or 4 reloads. My heart is still racing, ha. Glad that's over with now. That was tough!

I don't even remember exactly what I did for it. I only played it a couple times. What I do remember was that I actually had a harder time with the "Golem Room" than the last fight in my first run.

That was only the second time I played that DLC, the first time was on Casual and it was maybe like a year ago. I had a few achievements left to get with the DLC stuff so I left that one until last because I knew it was going to be nasty. Oh yes, I remember the Golem room, it's the area where you get locked in and like 6 golems attack you in a confined space? I got hammered there too and had to reload a few times. It was certainly a challenging DLC, more than I had with the others.

Yeah that's the room. I kept getting killed there. Didn't know you could flip the lever.
The other DLC thing that was annoying was that I had issues keeping my ogre alive in Darkspawn for that achievement.

It took me ages to figure the Ogre achievement out. I only just got that one just before I went onto Golems Of Amgarrak. The 4 that were missing were 2 for Darkspawn Chronicles and 2 for Golems. With that Golem room, that's what I did during one of the times I had to reload. The warden was the only one left alive so I hit the switch and ran for my life but there was no way I could kill them all solo so I just reloaded. If I ever play it again I'll try as an arcane warrior, as that seems to be the popular opinion for the Harvester fight. I do remember using an AW the first time (just happened to be the warden I was playing at the time I bought the DLC) I played but it was on Casual so it wasn't too bad. The warden I used for the achievement was DW rogue and I think some of it had to do with timing and luck! I see Photobucket blocked my screenies, so here they are again:
