The ME:A 'Story DLC Cancelled' Sinclair Networks Facebook hoax

My my, the only surprise here is the fact that SN broke their NDA. Yet some people are still in denial, what Bioware fanbase has become.

They will.

They have nothing to gain from talking about this. 

Bioware is pretty confident in Anthem, looking how they put all their money on a single horse the rest be damned.
If Anthem is going to be the mediocre game I expect it to be this gonna be a lot of fun for Bioware. I'd be lying if I said that I'm not looking forward to gloat over Biowares lukewarm success with their new game.

Because they backtracked on their original statement a few times, as well made more bizarre statements.

No way this company would have created 3 DLC packs only to be cancelled. Because for one, they don't create content. They polish already existing one. And two, that's a lot of EA's money just went to drain, if what they say is true.

Oh and then they later said Bioware might still do DLC's on their own, just not with them.

What a joke.

What most likely happened they were removed from working on ME:A, so some employees went on petty revenge at 5 AM on Facebook.

Are you saying they are not? Or more precisely, that that's how Bioware operates right now? Maybe they are forced to behave this way, but that's how they are. 

Is this really worse than saying the entire divison that made Andromeda was shutted down by a credible journalist? They didn't say anything about that, what would make they say anything about this?

No. He is not 'clearly lying'.

People should be judged on their actions. BioWare employees are limited in what they can say, but in all dealings with this forum, Tiberius has been helpful and honest. If Ian says he doesn't know them, that will be taken on this forum as a true statement, irrespective of any corporate links, without hard evidence to the contrary.

We are not going to be calling other forum members liars.

I'm saying that, regardless of whether that's true or not, they can't afford to have their image more tainted than it already is, nothing else.

The journalist didn't say anything about BioWare not caring for the community, IIRC.

I think it's already as bad as it going to get with Andromeda.

If EA says series is cancelled, then it is cancelled. Full stop. No arguments out of that. Historical precedent from EA says it all, when they say something is done, it is done. You can only hope for a reboot in 10 or so years, for better or worse.

While I'm at historical precedent, EA is always upfront with when their released game is a disappointment.  Dead Space 3 and Titanfall 2 are best examples. Each games were released from years apart, as well under different EA leadership and strategy. Yet in both cases, EA was upfront and honest with their disappointment.
With ME:A, EA just said they're happy with Bioware and still have high expectations with that franchise. For otherwise to be true, a lot of things must have changed internally in EA in short period of time.

No, in August 2018 you will still hear from some people that everything is fine, you just need to wait a bit longer.

Yeah I've gotto say if it's true I can't wait to see Anthem fail
