That's a dick move. My paranoia is starting to overtake me. I'm going to change my avatar name a little. (I couldn't find my tinfoil cap.) Statement: You should not fear them. I, for one, hope I will be noticed that the m... organic may learn proper assassination protocols from me! This is what I'm talking about. Thank you for taking my post seriously and I agree with not targeting specific people. Excuse: I'm sorry for hurting your feelings, Master. Rest assured, it will not happen again. (As much fun as this is, I'm not really sure I can stay in-character. Might end this soon )Then just say meatbag. Seriously, HK-47 is the best synthetic character ever in the Star Wars trilogy. He actively puts the word "paranoia" in your skull. Even after the adventure, I wanted an option to shut him down.

I don't have a Twitter account and I don't frequent Reddit and the other sources Bioware suggested I go to when they shut down BSN Prime. I'm here and only here. After what happened with Jason Schrier taking screenshots of my posts and putting them out there on Twitter without blurring my avatar and doing this to others here as well in order to have his "friends" laugh at us, I think it's only prudent that I don't put personal info into a petition. Bioware, though, I AM here, I enjoy ME:A and I'll post it here again... if you make DLC for ME:A, I will buy it. Respectfully - Please decide to make it. you should tag Ian. He does come on the board.

If Bioware is not aware that people wants dlc at this point, they are quite incompetent because the internet have been pretty much loud about the recent events, even among the one who did not like MEA, many of them wants the story to have closure. It's up to EA, not BioWare. Even if every single person working in BioWare will support that claim, one person -in charge- from EA against will be enough. This is business. No one at EA cares about You, me or this whole BSN.

Also let's be welcoming to mercury . I think they made a great post, and it's one of the most sensible ones I've seen in days. Jason hit some nerves, but they should not take the brunt of our anger for sharing their feelings. Paranoia has set in. I'm changing my name. I need to contact the artist KaiserShep for an avatar.

The Sims 4 toddler fiasco took years before they added them, so that's how it goes.

At this point I don't really care anymore. IF we get some that would be great but if not I would settle for what another poster mentioned which is at least give us a quick little write up to tie off loose ends and then be done with it.

It seems that the 'save Mass Effect' movement that got the Extended cut to be made 5 years ago was a lot more organized. They all rallied around a very definite problem, basically the ending to MET sucked.
Here, we're all not sure what is happening, it's like someone here called it Shrodinger's DLC. It's both not/is going to happen, it's in some limbo and not a target we can all go after. The devs already know, I've looked through their twitter feeds, but the people who make the final decision, how do we get their attention?

I am always a fan of the cupcake ideas because I've coordinated a few of those. Not the red, green, blue ones, because I wasn't on-board with the anger like others were. But I coordinated a few leading up to DAI that were positive and included notes of thanks from the fans who pitched in a few bucks here and there to pay for the cupcake order. I do also know the address for Bioware Montreal and a reputable bakery that delivers to them, as traditionally before BioWare shuts down for December holiday break I try to send the teams some tasty treats in Edmonton (and last year I expanded my "operation" to include Montreal as well) because I really do love the devs there and I have the disposable income to have a few dozen delivered each year. I say that to say I have the knowledge and contacts to do that for Montreal. And, honestly, that would probably be a nice pick-me-up anyway for the mixed reception MEA got. I just don't know how... not sure how to say it, "efficient", maybe?... of a message that would be given the news of Montreal being gutted and devs moved/reassigned. I'm not sure how much of that was physical moving, too? And Montreal probably doesn't get to make a DLC decision anyway. As far as the mothership of EA... that's where my contacts and source of knowledge ends. I'd be happy to throw cupcakes at whatever their headquarters are, but again... not sure of efficiency? Seems like sending a crapload of tweets via lots of users is the way to go, but the problem is that most folks who use this forum use it BECAUSE they didn't want to go to Twitter after the official forums closed down. I am open to suggestions, mercury

Depends if EA is willing to listen, but the last time the gamers pressured Bioware and not EA to have a better ending, and we got the extended cut, so yes technically its up to EA, but if the pressures on bioware, EA will be aware of it. And even EA do not like pressure from a gaming community, pr is important, just like jim sterling said it here :

EA did let BW add an extra Scott romance when they petitioned for Jaal on Twitter, so I am sure they will listen to this too, but how long it'll take can't be determined. It's not an in-game situation needing to be fixed for an achievement to be completed.

Maybe they think we all just want an answer to the question of yes/no there is DLC. But thats's only part of it. It's just now that more and more people are unsure and now it feels more like begging them to please make DLC period.
Maybe the Kotaku article is supposed to get us all upset enough to make a big huge PR mess before MEA is shut down?

I might be wrong, but if nothing was coming, I would think Melo would not have said "spoilers" and add a happy face or call it "future content" and would have simply said they can't discuss anything at the current time. Saying "future content" does not sound like they are done. This was directed to a question about story DLC too, not MP.

1) Jason Scheier is actually an extremely reputable journalist. Lets move on... 2) We have to start being pragmatic I snipped selectively mostly because I only wanted to make a tangential point: I think it would be productive not to unnecessarily conflate issues. I "have no dog in the fight" in that I have no desire for DLC nor any petty vindictive wish that those that do be denied their desire. But if your desire is for productive effort to influence the likelihood of DLC, it's best to keep to that focus. Conflating the issue with the Kotaku article creates a tribal trap. People who have issues with the way Jason Sheier acts as a persona in the media are independent of those who have a strong desire for or against DLC, regardless of what overlap may exist between them. Basically, bringing Sheier into it is at least as (if not more) likely to derail your point as support it. Your desire for DLC and the potential outcome of your hope to convince those capable of deciding isn't helped by attaching it to his reputation, it's only potentially distracted by it.

I wouldn't know where to send them either, honestly, but we know, just based on Twitter, a couple of the major players on the team. I'd be happy to donate if you decide to do this. As for messaging, it can't just be throwing stuff at a wall. Why, specifically, do we want a DLC? 1. I want to know what the Quarian Ark message was about (really, finding out about the arks is one of my favorite aspects of Andromeda) 2. I want to investigate what happened to Jien Garson 3. I want to know who the Benefactor is 4. I want to find out the answers to these questions as Ryder and not read a book about someone else finding the answers to these questions There is a lot to explore in this game and there are a lot of questions left unanswered. And if anything, sending them cupcakes to say "Thank you for your hard work" could be more meaningful than sending them cupcakes to ask for something.

Yeah, part of my point is sending cupcakes and saying "gimme" isn't a great message. Regardless of whether we get a DLC, I still love the game and will continue to play it for months to come.

Yes, the devs are not the problem, it's whoever may have made the decision (still not confirmed by more than just Kotaku) that in fact the DLC is not happening. BW deserves many thanks for not just MEA, but their legacy of great character driven RPG's. I have not regretted buying and playing any of them at all.

Someone tweeted Gamble that they loved the game, and thanked them for their hard work, then added they would pay for DLC and want to see more. Gamble favorited it. Yeah, part of my point is sending cupcakes and saying "gimme" isn't a great message. Regardless of whether we get a DLC, I still love the game and will continue to play it for months to come. Kindness can go a lot further than threats. brandoftime EA recently confirmed SN's hoax and declined to comment on story DLC, so I am still led to believe it's planned, PR-speak or not.

Agreement: While admitting this breaks my behavioral core, you are correct, Master.
(Obviously this time I'm just in character.)
