I'm looking forward to it. Mostly. The gameplay looks really fun but the story doesn't seem like it's going to be any good and the voice acting is so ear meltingly dreadful I think I may end up putting it in another language.

I'm really excited that Guerrila seems to have poured their passion into this project, and taking risks is always interesting in video game development. I don't think Aloy's voice work is as annoying as her E3 2015 debut, which is good. I've already ordered the beautiful collecter's edition, because I plan on playing the crap out of it. The hype is real for this game.

I will play it in any case. looking forward to it. It's just stupid for me that it releases about the same time than Andromeda so it has to wait :/ (now I have time and have nothing to play lol) What's wrong with the voice acting? As I know it's the same voice as Cloe from Life is Strange

I got to play it for 15 minutes, and watch my friend play for his 15 minutes yesterday. It looks lovely, and played really well. Voices were ok, though I didn't hear much, mostly the char talking to herself when something happened. The fighting was good, you can track and target enemies/creatures of interest; showing their patrol routes etc. I found quite a few similarities with Far Cry primal, but it has more of a stealth aspect if you want to go that route. The fights weren't easy for a n00b either but it's learning attack patterns and reading the enemy. I got to ride a robot buffalo, the different speeds are well animated and I quite liked that if you don't give the animal a nudge now and then it will slow down from a gallop to a trot to a walk. We didn't really get to do much story either, which is fine as I don't really want spoilers. We didn't really get to see or play much that hasn't already been shown in the trailers either, but it was good to have a go. I will definitely be getting this!

Hopefully the game doesn't get delayed again.

I don't really get hyped for games anymore but this is one of the few that I'm legit looking forward to. Concept art is also not a thing that I pay much attention too, but I always liked this screenshot. I could sit on that rock all day. Dat view.

I will play if it ever comes to PC. But if this is another PS exclusive title then they won't get my money.

Yup, getting it as well. My PS4 simply needs this game Love the colors, the landscapes, and also the main character. I hope the story won't disappoint.

Pretty much every preview for Horizon is overflowing with praise for the game....it's hard not to get caught up in it!
Here's 2 of my favourite previews from the exclusive preview on PS4/Pro at Guerilla Games in LA and Amsterdam last week, from contributors I fully trust who normally align themselves with my tastes...so pumped, I even pre-ordered since it was on sale with bonuses here in NZ: couldn't help it lol.
I think it has to be said, this is the way to market a game and build natural hype BioWare: I hope they've got similar things lined up for games media for ME:A, it feels organic, not contrived at all.
And How Beautiful is This Game!!

Guerilla always had good marketing, the problem is the hype level. I love their Killzone franchise, but it always fell short in the eyes of fans and reviewers, because of the hype build through marketing. Lets hope that Horizon Zero Dawn avoids that, because it looks like an amazing game. This is the game that will finally get me to buy a Playstation 4.

Here's hoping it doesn't play like the recent Tomb Raider games in any way. Anything else about it looks pretty good.

I honestly don't get the style of this game. Wearing rough tribal-style furs and leathers but using magical high-tech gadgets? Robot dinosaurs?... How very bizarre. It's post-apocalyptic. Mankind has returned to rural living. My guess the robot-dinosaurs had something to do with the fall of the pre-apocalyptic people.

That's not just bad voice acting, it's bad direction from whoever is telling the actors how to emote. Makes you appreciate when it's done well.

wavebendI don't mind the voice acting so much as the expressions on the characters faces. The Sister looks like her face is frozen into the grimace of an almost sneeze. Then the emotionality of the moment is lost when he's all like... \ "I must go!" "I'll follow!" "No you can't, goodbye." "Oh well. Guess I won't follow after all. Bright side, I got to say goodbye." Um?

That's spear combat. Every other combat with bow and arrow looks great. And you can't judge a game from one cutscene. I myself wasn't too bothered by it. We'll see once reviews come out. "This game is gonna fail," is just one opinion.
