Snow and cold weather are way underrated in my opinion. I'm completely okay if there's four months of snow and -20°C. I detest mild winter weather. So say we all (Finns) Nothing is worse than having to go walk into slush and its raining water/slush around +1 - -1C Nothing? Like....getting stabbed in the balls with a rusty trident would not be worse? Or a maggot infestation in your eyeballs? Or having to walk through the perfume shop in your local mall? Or Sunday afternoon sitcoms?

Nutella is overrated. Yes, I said it. "I'll take you ALL on!" It's chocolate frosting that tries too hard to be peanut butter, but only succeeds at being the inside of an Almond Joy, without the joy. It is the indigo of foods. It cannot be blue, it cannot be purple, so it fails at both. I don't care for indigo. Irrational? Absolutely. Yeah, sticky and overly sweet. That's what it is. Nutella? Peanut butter? Are you guys trying to kill yourself? 😑Indigo is the name of two - not one - different blue colors, and the name of a dye and pigment, ...and the name of a plant that the dye can be made from. Proper Indigo blue, is the color of the pigment/dye, which is a blackish-green blue. The other Indigo blue, is the spectrum color in the rainbow, as named by Isaac Newton, which is a blackish-violet blue. And this is the reason why 'Indigo' in artist paints tend to be blackish-green blue, while 'Indigo' in colored pencils or crayons tend to be blackish-violet blue. There's an explanation for everything.

A part of my sense of humor involves playing dumb, acting like I don't know things.
If I 'reveal' how intelligent I actually am, I've found it intimidates people to the point that they get angry or offended. It's weird, and I'd probably trade it in a heartbeat for something else if such things were possible.
We are not rational creatures.

Now to be fair to Bevest Hieronymus Da, he's only pointing out how indigo can be two different things; the pigment of color and hue of light.
And he's absolutely right that there's an explanation for anything.
At the risk of being open and/or overexplaining, I have no illusions as to being some "super-genius" and I know enough about superiority-complexes to know that I don't have one. For me to have such a thing would require I abandon my ideals that I have carefully cultivated and boldly stood by.
It's rather odd to talk about, but with the recent slew of censorship in the United States, I suppose I wish to express the ever-unpopular opinion that is independent thought and careful reasoning with a hearty helping of all the intellectual humility I can muster.
I've made mistakes, heck, I made a spelling error in this very post. I fixed it though.
I suppose I'll finish this thought with this: I believe the best way to beat bad ideas is to let them be heard, so they can fail on their own merits (or lack thereof), removing any doubt. Parallel to that, I believe it's important to know ALL your options, including the ones that are morally reprehensible; not because evil solutions are better, but so you can more reliably and more effectively choose the good.

To clarify into absurdum: I was speaking about color. Not pigment or light. Color as an optical attribute of a reflective surface. Like Red, Yellow, Blue, Cyan, Green, Magenta are names for generic colors. There are also names which do more to specify the color more narrowly. Like Poppy Red, Blood Red, Bordeaux Red, Sapphire Blue, Grass Green, Jade Green... These names are derived from something else having that color. There are other kinds of specific color names. Some originating from a once commercially marketed shade of paint. Azur Blue, Brunswick Blue, Antwerp Blue... Others originating at one time as some kind of specified color for some use, Khaki, Imperial Red, Olive Drab, Petroleum Blue... But many specific color names are simply inherited from the dye or pigment that originated the color. Ultramarine, Crimson, Viridian, Cobalt Blue, Carmine, Burnt Sienna, Umber... One such color name is "Indigo".
Indigo is a word that can be the name for 6 different things. 1. The plant. (It seems the traded pigment is the origin of the word, which is derived from something that meant "from India".) 2. The dye. 3. The pigment. (Indigo can be both, because it's not dissolvable in its blue, oxidized form) 4. The color. (As obtained by the dye or pigment)(greenish)
Then it becomes strange, and that is all Isaac Newtons fault. 5. The hue of a certain spectrum segment of visual light. (The preexistence of the word "Indigo" inspired Newton to name it as "Indigo") 6. The other color. (Resulting from Newtons definition. "Other" because it's not the same color)(violet'ish)
Thus there are two different colors, both named "Indigo". "Indigo" is hardly used any longer as name for a spectrum band. Instead blue is regarded as bordering directly to violet. But you still see dark, blackish blue colors, with a tendency towards violet, named "Indigo".

Well maintained, trimmed classic Mustaches are cool.
Even though people associate mustaches with tons of uncool, icky and weird stuff, I'll always find them cool, and I will always sport one.
Hell, firemen are cool, and drill instructors are cool, and so are cops, Tom Selleck and dads. Classic mustaches rock no matter what people say!

I love Fallout: New Vegas but man seeing many Youtube videos in my mentions just flat out worshipping it is just nauseating. The game was just as buggy as a Bethesda yet somehow was even buggier with it constantly crashing on me when I tried to play it last year. People destroy Bethesda for having buggy games now and days but Obsidian gets a pass somehow.

A hot dog is stereotypical American fast food. There is a business that will ship you eight fully dressed hot dogs for $29.95. That's $3.75 per dog. To make the same meal, all you need is a microwave, a sausage, bun, ketchup, mustard and relish. I can make the food for less than $0.50 and in under two minutes. Why on earth would you ever pay $30 for mail order tube steaks? Further, if you make it at home you can make it exactly as you please with exactly the right ingredients (no ketchup or relish for me, please). Is this one of those businesses where what they really want is a customer list of gullible idiots (the nose hair trimmer model)?

Wait till you buy one at a sporting event like a hockey game.
I was going to tie in a nose hair trimmer to hot dog prep but thought it might put people off eating hot dogs permanently.

Crossovers and hatchbacks are station wagons. Yes, station wagons, you Clark Griswald Family Truckster driving hosers (which as of tomorrow includes me.) Pretty up the slang all you want to try to hide it, but they're station wagons. Deal with it, accept it, cry over it, whatever, but don't lie to yourself. You're driving a station wagon. Have a nice day.
