I wonder if u could get benefit of to the death with friendly fire (HB Templar). Then you will kill all the other enemies easier once effect wore off.

Will uncouple my limited controller, and use KB+M next time. Love the vids, and YES! I wanna piggyback the dragon into a treasure room! BTW, Witty and I played as a couple of Necro's using Blizzard's Path (Explode on kill staff, lvl.23 - I think). Nice carnage, especially with WB.

I think it would be very hard to survive though with the increased damage taken and the fact that you need to keep the archer alive which means friendly fire is on for an extended time.

Also, if two players activated it at the same time against each other in friendly fire, would it double the effect? (Ex: Qunari/Silent Sister)

I'm not sure myself but I remember someone in the old forum mentioned the effects from multiple To The Death don't stack.

I use my xbone controller (usb wired, though it would also work with a dongle if you have such a set up). I originally played KB+M, but another DAMP player convinced me to give it a try, due to a few characters being easier to play with using a controller. Namely Zither and Avvar (though I found all the warriors were easier with the controller, oddly enough *shrug* ).

The only downsides are the inability to target distant enemies and the RIDICULOUSLY cumbersome spell casts for some of the mages. The biggest upside is lounging on my couch :-)

@hunterklipling - The lack of mini-map was probably the thing I missed most. Really makes you realize what you rely on. Felt like I was running around a lot, "searching" for enemies. Twas fun! Need to do it properly next time though, with no controller. (I keep saying that...... )

On a whim, we were coaxed by our leader... It is beautiful to rely only on audio cues and see absolutely no screen clutter Thanks for the vids Hunter. I like that at 2:40 of the second video witty was waving her daggers in the air like crazy around you. And a few seconds later we see coldie walk around somewhat confused like she was trying to fend off invisible enemies with shield wall. @hunterklipling - The lack of mini-map was probably the thing I missed most. Really makes you realize what you rely on. Felt like I was running around a lot, "searching" for enemies. Twas fun! Need to do it properly next time though, with no controller. (I keep saying that...... ) I had another video in which you and me died as a pair of lego...(what a shame... ) I should have taken a health potion when my unyielding popped...But relying only on our eyes and ears without the assistance of UI is kinda fun. It adds a realistic feeling to the game in the way how it forces you to actively search for the enemies. I also stayed close to you guys most of the time because I was afraid if I died too far away, you wouldn't even know where I was to revive me. I'm also tempted to try keeper with barrier next time. what about playing nightmare with lvl 1 equipment? It's not impossible...But it might take too long. The game might crash or we might lose connection to the server before we could even finish it.

It's true. You don't know just how much the mini map has relevance or the name and health tag above us or the enemy. Audio cue is all that you have. Actively looking for enemies can be a challenge, especially if it turns out to be a glitch. Or a hyena stuck inside a wall somewhere. I have spent a long time looking for the missing enemy, only to find them on the second story roof and I'm playing a melee character. Sometimes the game just kills them off so you can proceed to the next zone, other times... not so much.

what about playing nightmare with lvl 1 equipment? a few of us have done variants of this. We've already played with only using the base armor in NM. Unfortunately, you really can't use level 1 weapons in NM. Most of the attacks will only hit for 1 damage I assume. Won't work when all enemies have thousands of HP... But, one fun crazy game we did had us all use pact belt mages with base armor and stock inquisition weapons, and not use barrier spamming Saarebas or ZITHER. So basically, no health, bad damage, and no protection from armor. I can't remember if it was threatening or perilous at the time. It's actually pretty easy until the boss fight.

^ It was on threatening. Nothing really posted a threat except Samson. But we did have nicely coordinated barrier going on from keeper and ele. Plus we were all above level 15 then so 3 pact-belt mages were still pretty deadly on threatening even with Inquisition Staff.

I was experienced three different types of NO HUD yesterday in Ivory's lobby. Game bugged version of NO HUD Option off version of NO HUD Console tweak version of NO HUD Ivory taught me how to turn off every UI, and wow it was challenging! I had to turn game BGM down to concentrate on sound effects. It was so much fun, but I felt like I was swinging my hands in the air. I blame the lack of that small cross-hair.

I just copied & paste what he said in the chat. (Please EA when can we get chat room back?) I guess it was hard for assassin whose skills are mostly single-target melee. But you were doing great. Because there was no mini-map or floating health bar to locate teammates, when you went into stealth it was like you disappeared completely into the thin air... For a few times I thought you had been disconnected again and was not in the game at all. It was a perfect demonstration of "Passing through the shadows".

I wish BW would consider giving us the option to choose which element we want on our screen in the future. Sometimes there's just too much irrelevant information on the screen. I read it in a BF1 post somewhere. Same engine as DAI so...

Have you ever run with 4 keepers to get mana surge x4? :-) I have played several 'four same agents' games but no keeper yet. Only Lego, Reaver, Katari, Silent sister, Arcane warrior, Saarebas, and Virtuoso. So far Katari party was the best in my experience. So much fun listening dialogue between them. I really wanna play such runs more. Especially Keeper and Alchemist.
