Still on with the audio books. Man, if the tv show gets that far, i am really curious how they'll handle some stuff. I just finished Lord of Chaos and boy oh boy, you can certainly do some horrific stuff there if you want to. Rand being held in that box for like a month while captured by Elaida's Aes Sedai and just being let out twice a day to be tortured by these women (one of whom actually wants to torture him to death for killing one of her warders) ... I mean, if they have the guts, that can get really nasty in the shw. I hope they do it because it will make the conclusion at Dumai's Wells all the more epic. I hope they don't screw with that plot line too much because it's brilliant as is in the books IMO. There are certain points in the book - your spoilered example being one - where the pre-show trigger warnings will require their own commercial break. Moghedien and her treatment. Alanna and what she did. Explanation of the Trollocs and how they came to be...to name just a few. Even how Rand comes to receive a teacher in the One Power. The fact that it happens to a bad person who'd done many bad things doesn't change the fundamentals of what that situation is.

I just (literally minutes ago) got confirmation that something me and another guy guessed at the beginning of S3 ep1 in Picard turned out to be true the last episode of the season.
So, I'm feeling pretty prescient right now.
Kinda neat actually cause we didn't have jack shit to go on. Many others got on the train after the next couple episodes but only me and this other guy had an inkling from the get-go.
Going to go digging through my reddit history to reply to this person if they're still around. Worth a *clink*.

Question for the book readers... Were there any Red Ajah that were actually good mentioned by name? My memory of the later books is rather dim tbh but I am still going through the audio books and in book 7 “A Crown of Swords” I just came across Pevara Tazanovni who genuinely seems like a nice person overall. I quickly flipped through her wiki page a bit and it seems there are quite a few fairly decent red sisters later on. But you’ll have to wait a while  |

So, wasnt S2 supposed to be aired one year later ? Is it delayed or abandonned or just normal ? I don't know if it was delayed, but apparently season 3 started filming in mid-April. I guess they want the S2 and S3 to be able to come out closer together..?

Question for the book readers... Were there any Red Ajah that were actually good mentioned by name? The only one i can think of atm is Silviana who's not good or evil. She has a neutral /fair justice type of outlook, and she stopped Elaida from torturing Egwene to death but was jailed for it. I think good and evil are not really the right words for the Red Ajah...more like gradations of severity. But in addition to the one you mention is Pevara Tazanovni - one of the few reds who supports the Ajah having warders.

But you’ll have to wait a while Also Teslyn Baradon - a hard but fair woman who is forced to reevaluate many things traveling with Matt after he rescues her from the Seanchen...and she repays him by saving his life from the Gholam. She's a character I've come to appreciate more in subsequent readings.

Based on the trailer the 2nd season seems promising and appears to follow the storyline of 2nd book more closely despite some of the obvious deviations. I'm still not loving the fact they're cramming a book or more into 8 episodes but at this point it is what it is.
