It's interesting how, with a fixed protaganist, it is actually more how the protag flirts with the NPC than the NPC flirts with the protag. Zach was shy with Amelia unlike the other two Feels of the other options.
LOL....he's just scared shitless of her. He knows she'll mess him up good if he messes with her in any way.
I really liked how all their backstories tied into each other.

It's interesting how, with a fixed protaganist, it is actually more how the protag flirts with the NPC than the NPC flirts with the protag. Zach was shy with Amelia unlike the other two Feels of the other options. Oh, the companions have a very defined way of acting towards Zach. Amelia actually does stutter when she talks to him a few times. "If you were not...You know... You." something like that. It is not that he has a first name, it is more the way the companions are connected to him via the backstory and VA. It might not even be there, and someone else will interpret it differently. I can't help but read the lovestory type; Zach and Andrew are Master/Benefactor and Apprentice/Student; Niesha and Zach is an exotic bird with a broken wing and a touch of femme fatale/morbid; and Amelia is the kind of girl he would have ended up anyway if Scott did not find him in the Slums and pushed him to a better life in the cloister and a gateway to military elite. The way the flirts and dialogues are structured, you do have some control over his feelings. Each go you have the text like "Compliment her" then you have a submenue of three choices of what Zach specifically attracted to. In my case, I always picked for him to talk about the wanderlust in Amelia and her almost poetic admiration of landscapes. I certainly did not feel that he, as a character, is truly in love with Amelia more than with Niesha or Andrew. But, the autodialogue is there as well. Zach feels a lot like Hawke. He has a (pleasant) personality, though not as divergent as Funny Hawke and Everything Else Hawke, but he accept input from the player & I did not feel like he went far out & said something entirely different that I would have expected. I did not pick any really evil options, so I am not sure if Zachariah Rogue is very different from Zachariah Mancer.

Three kinds of flirts per flirt option?! I'm so playing this game. Well, I am trying not to oversell you on it. But yes, you can pick one of three options. But you maybe get four or five occasions to flirt with each of them during the game.i don't know how much of the game is left or if there is more to Zach and Amelia's relationship as a committed couple. I did like them confessing their love for one another though. I dunno, steam says I am 24.5 hrs in, but it felt longer...

I wonder who I'll fall in love with. *totally possibly oversold* Wait till the Halloween sales if you want to pick it up. Steam throws it on 70% off all the time, so it gets dirt cheap.

Oh, zut, I've messed up. The game gives you a quest to gather support, from Vory, Army, Noctis and Opposition. Well, i went in that order, but apparently they are mutually exclusive, so I ended up with Vory and Army, but if I knew, i'd rather had Noctis and Opposition as my allies. Wish it was made clearer. Oh, well, now I have a lit of like ten things to mess Victor up and bring him down via the condemnation by the People' Assembly. Back to work!!! Also, there was something really upsetting. Well, nice too. Anyway, on the technomancer front, Scum, the mutant leader mentioned in passing that Sean Mancer, Zach's master had been killed in the mutant uprising, as he was the one sent to oversee the camp as a punishment for his views. SUCKED! Apparently, killing him happens in Mars War Logs, so he was doomed from the start. (cries) Nice thing was that Zach initiated Andrew into the order, all on his own, very much Master and Padawan style, so I was kindda good with not going with that romance. I never liked these romances in SWTOR. Save for Ashara, but she was never a Sith Apprentice. Grand Master Zachariah officiates at Andrew Mancer's Initiation:

Well, it's just getting better and better... and more complicated. I saved Patience, the Aurora Technomancer who translated the tablet, and well... we are gearing up for a Polar Expedition to find the lost base, the beacon... but I am uncertain if I do that before or after I bring down Victor???? Zachariah, saving Patience... no matter what you say about this game, the screenshots are just so beautiful.

Niesha quit over it later, but I don't mind that. It certainly was not spelled out, and in all games I played earlier, the more, the merrier.

Well, it's not like it mattered. There was no big cutscene with Victor being dragged before the Assembley and testimonies, and stuff. What happened was a rather artistic shot of Victor sitting in a shamed position in a spotlight (I did not capture a good screenshot) while the background sound was full of accusing voices expressing the Assembley's displeasure. It was a good way to show his fall from grace, but not what I expected. I spent the rest of the night fighting a really hard boss battle to get the last two parts for the rover. Finally, I got lucky and the boss got stuck in the doorway, and we finished him off. And, well, too late for it to finish it today, but we've made it to the Pole, and entered the lost city that has the beacon that will let us contact Earth... and likely confront Victor directly?

Surely the whole ending of the dire plot isn't "Make a phone Call" ?

Don't know about the phone call, because I plan to spend the next two to three weeks fighting the final battle - Spider's idea of difficulty balancing is insanse, but the rest of the game wrapped up pretty nicely so far: 1. Zachariah was able to face off and kill both Alan and Victor. There was an option to spare Alan, on the shaky grounds that he is heartbroken over finding out that as a natural-born Technomancer he is actually a mutant. I suppose Zachariah can reform him or something. Not my Zachariah. We are destroying everyone who took hand in Sean's downfall. Well, okay, save for Scum that is. There is a part of Victor's last monologue - luckily the game is not dumb and does not suggest to spare this asshat. He fights as a rogue, so I got his pistol for Zach, Zach's knife was better. The stylish jacket stayed on the corpse. It was NICE to kill him. Unfortunately, he is not the last battle in the game. 2. Amelia's romance - basically, there was nothing except her greeting for Zach (she calls him good-looking, and well, I am flattered) was different till we entered the last area. I was starting to think I should have let Zach sleep with all three, and commit to the last LI, but this was worth it, though, yeah, overall romance is not really prominent in the game. First Zach addressed her by name urging caution vs horrible mutated creatures. And, then, right before the final boss fight area, Amelia has the LI's last monologue. The expert is below, and that really brings to mind a joke from earlier in the game, when Amelia talks to the Assembly's official, calls herself "a poster girl for Abundance" then goes on to express her opinion about Victor, and the official tells her: "I can see why we did not include the caption with the picture." Anyway, her lover's talk conclusion, heh (wish they animated it though, not narrated it from behind Zach's back): ...and right after Zachariah finds himself alone again, due to one of those timely cave-ins... ...and, yeah, he'll be dying many, many times yet before I can tell you how that phone call went & if Amelia rearranges his anatomy in the end in any way.

...and I've got it. I basically just pumped all my resources and serum into the healing potions. The ending was satisfying, had a surprise, and ran through all my choices, and talked about the future, and commented on the romance - everything as you would want to have in an awesome game, and with those gorgeous slides. I have somehow missed the subplot that they referred to twice, and that's Jeff was also a traitor & Zach apparently killed him - don't remember draining his serum ever. It totally slipped past me somehow. My final choice for Zachariah was: He revealed the truth about both the mutants and Earth & settled in the Mutant Valley Overall, a really good game, but you have to be willing to play in a very limited number of areas (despite them being uber-gorgeous) and know in advance that you can only chose 2/4 factions as allies in that quest. Being in alliance with Anton was frowned upon in the Epiologue, lol. And, yeah, Dandolo should have been a romantic option in addition to Niesha. THE END

About 30 hours, Steam shows 29.3, but it gives the same number for on record and in the past week, which is incorrect. I skipped sidequests in the end, just followed the main story. So, under 40 altogether if you do everything still, I think.

About Jeff - it's the ASC agent, whom Niesha shot (there was a choice "Encourage/Intervene"), when you stole the rover at the end of chapter 1. I think, the helmet on your PC is his. Edit. phoray About length - 25-30 hours (according to Steam, my 2 PTs took 47 hours)

I didn't like having to kill Jeff but it was him or me, so he lost. I did persuade the other guy from Act 1 to back down and ran into him again later on. Lots of little things happen in the later acts to remind you what you did in Act 1, which I liked. For my final decision: revealed truth about Earth and stayed in Noctis. Allies were Noctis and the Army, I think.

I stopped Niesha from shooting a guy in her quest... well, if I replay, I will be watching for it. AND I will side with Noctis!
