that's an admirable attitude! Writing for yourself. when I write I am too dependant on other's ppl opinion. I know it's not right. Because you should write something u want. 
I don't need smutty stories. I just want romance and if there is smut I read it. I don't want it to be too explicit, reminds me of a story where someone really wrote down every detail of the body etc. that's too much for me. I just want some something that exalts my imagination.

I don't know what I should think or hope for DA4. I am really nervous about all that. Also that there was no announcement, no nothing yet. How can I live with that XD

Solasmance hell is doing so much to me. Yesterday I played so long inquisition >_> i hardly slept 5 hours for my work. I can't stop it's like an addiction. if not playing then looking at pictures xD gnahaa


morir_a_solas the feels are so fresh I can't handle them. have to read fanfictions all the time to feel a little bit better.

*hugss* aww It's alright I dont remember most of mine either, that's why the ones I do remember feel so precious I'd even write them down if they make a bit of sense. Aaaand so I've only written 2 in the past year. But it's alright, it would be such a bother if I had to sit down every morning and spend 1 hour writing stuff LOL

I'm partly afraid of that. I mean, can Arlathan live up to my expectations at this point? Maybe, but maybe not. It doesn't help that I picture a visual aestethic I have yet to see Bioware capable of. Maybe Square-Enix could pull it off, with their experience with crystals and the whole Final Fantasy aestethic they have going, but Dragon Age hasn't really translated whimsical architecture like "spires of crystal" and "cities on clouds" into anything beyond concept art before. Its rare for even the more restrained concept art to get translated directly into the game.

I'm not sure I'd say its a game engine limitation now as much as a level design one, since we're on frostbite. Of course, DAI had the most beautiful level design we've seen from either DA or ME, imo, so there's definite hope. I'm just trying to temper my expectations.

Just make Arlathan sparkly and glittery, Bioware. The glitter pantheon needs a glittery capital.

EDIT: Ok, Blanketfort, I mentioned the Glitter Pantheon over an hour ago and we don't have a single sparkly Evanuris gif "blessing" this thread. I am disappoint.

I think stories about time travel can be done well. Life is Strange, for instance, wasn't that bad (Well, up until the ending where it did the thing that I swear almost all time travel stories do. And also the part where it copped out of providing an explanation at all.) and I'd like to see a game that takes that concept and does a bit more with it.

But in general I think it's just too convoluted and too cliched. So I'll continue to despise each and every theory that advocates it's return.

Pretty much the same here. 364 days since last installment...  still completely uninterested in ME.

Oh don't get me wrong.. I love Mass Effect, I've just been in a Dragon Age zone since Inquisition came out..lol.

Plus it's hard to get excited about a game we pretty much know nothing about. I'll probably get more excited when 2017 comes.

Well, I'm doing my first playthrough of the ME trilogy, and I'm having much more fun than I thought I would. I only got it because the fantasy RPG genre was looking pretty deserted for the next few years (no DA, no TES... ugh!), and I have to say I'm really glad I did. Garrus is great, my Femshep is awesome and I'm enjoying all the other characters.

Though it's DA4 I really want, MEA is looking great, and I'm sure it'll fill the gap between DAI and DA4 nicely.
