I just logged in to the Keep and noticed none of my recent Origins characters have been uploaded. Does it still work? Has anyone had a Origin Hero upload in 2018? I still have the upload character feedback enabled, automatically login, and don't use the developer console enabled to launch the game.

I haven't got my Origins PCs uploaded since 2015 (all of them are pre-Keep release). If I'm not mistaken though, you can use default PC, change their name and add portrait manually.

I think they will soon disable that function as it is not in their interest to keep active the managament of old and uneccessary data, one day they will do as davesin said and just allow to make characters comepltely from the keep, with players having to just add the protrait.strange they didn't it yet after like 9 years from the game.

The Keep has always been finicky about not uploading Wardens. Heck, it wasn't supposed to in the first place, and that's something that was only tossed in last minute out of papier-mâché. If it worked for you up until recently, that was the fluke.

My Female Amell and my Female Cousland, all decked out in their respectable OP armour (but than again, I did did do that nearly two years ago.... so...)

Thanks for the replies people. I did finally manage to get a character uploaded yesterday. Not the one I'm currently playing, just one I created to test a theory. The trouble with the default Heroes, is it won't let you change their class, so I couldn't make my Dalish Mage. However I do have a Dalish Mage uploaded from when it was working semi regularly. The amount of times I got this error message yesterday while trying to access my heroes, makes me wonder if they haven't reduced the available bandwidth for Origin character uploads?

You can change the class by selecting "default female elf rogue" or "default female elf warrior"... but a Dalish mage is modded in and that's probably why it's on the fritz.

No, it's quite capable of uploading a modded Dalish Mage. But this is the thing, the old player profile page upload was designed for Origins, a game that officially supported and encouraged modding. So you could upload the player you actually played. If they had modded armor or had learned modded spells, you could see them. Dragonage Keep was not meant as a replacement for the old Origins system, just a way to get your sex class and surname into Inquisition, a game that doesn't officially support modding and makes no allowances for it. I don't play Inquisition, so I don't actually need the Keep, but I clicked on an old bookmark by mistake and noticed that none of my wardens of the last few months had been uploaded and wondered if they had stopped that feature all together.

Huh, that's interesting. I never noticed because I always color within the lines when it comes to canon LOL. I was never interested in playing class + background combos that weren't possible in the original game. No explanation for why they changed it though unless they're just phasing it out to keep the import process simpler.
