My canon Tabris Sehris accepted his bribe at the beginning and will spare him later on in the game to use him as leverage to gain favor at the Landsmeet. She's a sociopath who sees people as a means to an end and justifies her actions as being 'for the greater good'. Has anyone else who has played a City Elf spared him both times?

Yep did it with Tildren. First sparing was because in his mind Vaughan did him a favor in ridding him of his scary new bride. And since you can't tell him to keep her and give you back Shianni, then he figured getting paid for being serviced was the next best thing.
Can't remember the exact reasoning for the later sparing, but the save right after the decision was called "He's to funny to die" and the transcript was a bit funny as well. Might also have been a bit of a "We are the same" feeling going on. Two monsters and all that. Granted, Vaughan might have ended up starving since Tildren didn't unlock the cage. But well, you know, murder knife went thirsty and all that.
