I like both DAI and MEA.
Both are victims of their own press.
DAI isn't as good as it's PR and critical reception makes out. It's a terrific game with a few significant technical shortcomings and a weak 3rd act saved by DLC.
MEA isn't as bad as it's PR and critical reception makes out. It's a good game that's hurt by being a bit goofy looking and with a weaker cast and plot than the Trilogy.
The games are more alike than unalike.

I really stopped caring about what people besides myself and people I can have a face to face discussion with for that reason. Its just like the people that talk about how flawless other games they like are and then I show them the patch notes for those games and then it becomes a "that doesn't prove anything, I didn't have those problems so they were perfect", while there are plenty of people that don't run into the majority of issues they had with Andromeda. |
