Microsoft announced the next batch of original Xbox games to become backwards compatible today and Jade Empire is one of them.
This now means that KOTOR, Jade Empire, the Mass Effect trilogy and Dragon Age Origins are all BC. Only Dragon Age II is not. The full list of games: Original Xbox games releasing on April 17: Blinx: The Time Sweeper

DA2 a weird one, we know its done because it was released but without permission an subsequently pulled, the weird part is why its not been allowed now what with DA:O released as backwards compatible an DA:I also available for both systems not having DA2 released as BC just seems like a simmering temper tantrum.
Anyhow i look forward to replaying majority of them SW games aswell as JE

My og Xbox controller died a few months ago and I don’t have a PC so this is great news for me, especially since JE is my favourite Bioware title.

Jade Empire is indeed an underrated gem, and hopefully now I'll finally be able to go back and do my Lawful Evil-Open Palm and Chaotic Good-Closed Fist runs.
As for KOTOR 2: The Sith Lords, will it include the restored content?

Played aböut 4 höurs after wörk last night. It loöks goöd. I forgöt höw much I löve this game. The cömbat can be a little wönky at times but still a classic. Nöw I just need tö remember höw tö three way Dawn Star and the Princess.

Seems rather shitty that there would still be a gap in the DA lineup. I ended up getting Jade Empire for my iPad Pro on a whim, but would have preferred getting it on a console, though I can't really justify getting an XBox for this one game.
