The kennel master in Ostagar. Whenever I do not kill the dog I always elicit a payment from him for being an annoying, passive aggressive git. I wish that I could stick the knife in him and not the dog.

Anora, at least in some PTs Agreed. Cannot stand her. Also her maid, Elemia or whatever - yeah, Id like to kick her off a cliff too. (DAO - Witch Hunt) Hadley- I cannot explain it, he just annoys me to no end. (DAO - Awakening) Seneschal Varel - Same with Hadley cannot explain it, but he is downright annoying. (DA2) - Bran Cavin - He can go too. (DA2) - Grand Cleric Elthenia - Dammit Anders! You could have at least left the old biddy to me. (DAI) - Vivienne Mother Giselle Requisition Officer Gat Dwarven Bartender Maryden Threnn Seggrit Most Orlesians

I did not know there was so much dislike for Anora. I had no problem with her. She wanted the throne and I helped her get it. Who was I going to give it to Alistair, Eamon's puppet? I do remember in one scenario when I rescued her and she betrayed me to Ser Cauthrien. Yeah, now I see why most would dislike her.lol Usually I just surrender peacefully cause the fight is tough if I remember correctly.

Well, like I said, it depends on my PT. If I'm a Cousland romancing Alistair, Anora is a roadblock I can do without. If I'm an elf, especially a city elf, I will probably not like how my people have been treated under her rule (which she makes sure to remind us was really her and not Cailan at all). There can be other reasons as well, including the one you mention. I don't think it's clear she did, but the Warden can certainly believe she did and act accordingly.
Other times my Wardens have no issue with her at all and, since Alistair is clear about not wanting to be king, despite what Eamon says, they can roll with that.

Well that is true. I've never played as any of the other races. Only human noble and human mage. But yes if I played a City or Dalish elf, she is going down.

Yeah that fight is a bugger, I think easily the toughest in the game: true story, the very first time I played DAO, I got my ass kicked so hard that I assumed that it was literally not possible to win that fight, that it was a scripted "unwinnable boss fight" that was required to set up the escape quest as a mandatory main quest. Only after looking it up online later did I realize it was just a particularly hard fight, one that you definitely can win if you play it properly (which I've done in subsequent playthroughs).

Never done the Ser Cauthrien fight in any playthrough so far. I enjoy the fun of sending two companions to rescue the Warden far too much.
As for hated NPCs...hmm....
Origins: Really struggling here, I think I like all the NPCs. I suppose I'm going to have to go with Taoran of the Blackstone Irregulars. He'sa presumptuous little git, and killing him causes me little remorse.
Awakening: The only one I can think of who is a bit annoying is the enchanter/rune seller in Vigil's keep. After endless, repetitive trips back and forth from the keep to the courtyard buying ingredients to make Paragon Runes, discovering I'm one etching agent short... back into the keep, back to the enchanter... again,.. and again... and again, her smug-sounding "certainly" every time I ask to see her wares really begins to grate. I don't want to kill her or anything so drastic, but her voice 'certainly' starts to get annoying.
Dragon Age 2: I'm supposed to hate, and want to kill Sister Petrice, and damn if Bioware didn't deliver. I don't think I've ever felt the same visceral hate for for any fictitious villain as I have for Petrice, which really just goes to show what a good job they did in designing her. Larius in the Legacy DLC is also a quite annoying, but then again Janeka is even more annoying.
Inquisition: I've only ever managed to play through the damned thing once and that was a while ago, so I don't quite have the same memory for NPCs as I do for the other games. As I recall though Mother Giselle was absolutely appalling. There was a particular quality and modulation of her voice that felt like being dragged through sickly treacle, while being simultaneously walloped over the head with a cricket bat with a brick tied to it. I literally found her voice unbearable - and usually I love the French accent. Any quest that forced me to talk to her was an exercise in willpower.

In the Inquisition you have big broadsword instead! (Why the Inquisition didn't hire an executioner?) ___ Never understood that eternal love toward the murderknife, while red!Hawke has some undoubtable fun moments with it.

What do you mean by npc, everyone in these games or just minor characters? Anyway I would kill them only if they give me serious reasons to kill them, which isn't the case for minor characters. The major characters on the other hand I can have reasons to want to kill them but they are unkillable. Anora, at least in some PTs It would make no sense to kill her as she is one of the logic cheks of the game, or else it may cause crushes the moment the story has both potential rulers killed. Plus that would make the wardens just look like absolute tyrants

In Awakening, there is this lady who stands there just looking disapproving. Apparently Weishaupt Sent her.
I'd like to stab her. I wonder how Weishaupt would take that. Maybe they'd get the message, "Don't fucking spy on me."

o Alistair, Eamon's puppet? I I just never got the impression Alistair would be much of a puppet to him, or that Eamon desired the throne so greedily. I've always chalked up this line to Logain's paranoia, especially as it's quickly followed by accusations of Orlesian ties. rue story, the very first time I played DAO, I got my ass kicked so hard that I assumed that it was literally not possible to win that fight, that it was a scripted "unwinnable boss fight" that was required to set up the escape quest as a mandatory main quest My true story: I thought that fight was absolutely supposed to be win able, and that I just sucked. So as soon as I fell, I would reload immediately (not letting the fade to black finish). Finally beat her and her sidekicks, only to find out that I'd missed an awesome Dungeon Escape Sequence. Eamon needs to die yesterday. Oh yes. I'd like to murder knife him for being ridiculous. He is ONE MAN. And every one of my Wardens has had to go on what should actually be an impossible quest to save his life when there is an effin Blight on. Also, Anora. She gets that murder knife off screen, but my Cousland would love to be the Executioner. She was friends with Cailan, the two families were close, and Anora, that bitch, didn't keep him safe.

Eamon does say "he will be a good king, with the proper advice". Wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Exactly that's why I chose Anora. Plus Alistair really did not want to be King. Eamon knew he could manipulate Alistair. That's why hept on insisting Alistair be King.

Cailan was so close to Anora that he cheated on her multiple times and was even going to abandon her to marry Celene for a power grab and because he believed Anora infertile. If there was any betrayal between the two, it's not Anora who is the guilty one.

If there was any betrayal between the two, it's not Anora who is the guilty one. The Cousland family is close to the Theirin family. It's not out of the realm of possibility that a Cousland wouldn't know Cailan from several parties, and if one wishes to, could possibly have imagined "The heirs of the future' growing up together as Important Families Do. I'm not sure where you got Cailan cheating on her multiple times. I believe there may be some legitimacy to the rumors about Celene based in game, but I doubt that situation made it very far. I won't deem someone not worth living for a half baked thought. And honestly, if Anora weren't so power hungry herself, she would have been, hmmm, at least understanding that her infertility was an issue for a country so set on the Therin line. Anora is willing to sell her father out for the Throne. That speaks so much more to her character than I ever could.
