Definitely the movie, it'll probably be shorter and not as loud as a concert. I'm good at daydreaming myself away but that wouldn't work so well when I'm surrounded by a bellowing crowd. Would you rather get a tattoo or a piercing somewhere on your face? Piercing. I'd love a nose ring. If I had a face tattoo I'd look like a meth head. Giant pet spider or pet snake? Snake all the way. Prettier to look at, very low maintenance, easily tamed. Great body or great mind?

Here's a toughie: Would you rather sell all of your possessions or sell one of your organs?

A toughie?! I don't think so. I wouldn't sell any of my organs, thank you very much. So please, take my stuff - I don't have particularly valuable shit anyway, so I wouldn't mind. Would you rather go to jail for a few years for something that you didn't do, or get away with something horrible that you did, always having to keep it a secret?

Both are kinda similar, in space you can communicate easier tho. Maybe I pick the submarine so I can say "fuck it", surface and get the hell out. If I had to pick between Mars and Moon base - I'd pick Mars.
Would you rather forego your mobile phone or your computer?

Phone. Easily. I'm not the least addicted to social media or apps on my smartphone. Phone is nice to have but I guess I'll just have to go back to use landline phones. That's still possible. Actually, it would work great. Do you like getting a phone call when you're in a store or eating lunch somewhere?
Would you rather serve a year in the Roman Legion, or serve a year in the Napoleonic era British Navy?

Cure the disease. Saving people is always a good thing I think. Would you rather have the best day in your entire life (basically achieve all your wildest dreams ect & forget it entirely the day after or just have a "meh" existence for the rest of your life?

"Meh" existence for the rest of my life. I have dual very good and well founded arguments for that. But since I always try to avoid revealing personal things, I'll just hint you the philosophical one: You can't have a "meh" life. It doesn't exist. Just as all "wildest dreams" lives come with hefty penalties and are pretty far from what they're made up to be. Would you rather go on a vacation trip in a sailing yacht or in a caravan?

Tulips (although that's not a 'Would you rather' question, strictly speaking ) Would you rather be locked in a room that's constantly bright or constantly dark for a week? Dark. I struggle to see anything in bright lights and it makes me squint so I can't see anything anyway. Plus I don't think I'd be able to sleep in a bright room. Would you rather eat really spicy or really sour food?

Sour, I think. Would you rather be bitten by a snake or a spider? A spider. Though the real answer, would be that it depends on what kind of snake it would be, and what kind of spider it would be. Of course it would. My choice of spider is based on the odds. A random snake is likely to do more damage than a random spider. Also, snake is more likely to be catastrophic. A Black Mamba, for instance, is extremely hard to survive. Basically, the Mamba should only manage a glancing hit with one fang, and you should be only 15-20 minutes from a guy with a syringe filled with antidote. Black Widow, otoh, is, I have heard, quite survivable the first time you get bit. It's the second time your body will react in a more complicated manner. I have been bitten by a snake. So it's an experience I've tried. And it was not quite like what I assumed. And what I believe most assume? You might think that as long as it's not lethal, you recover, shrug it off and you go back to your normal self? Well, not exactly. It was years ago. What, 6-7 years ago? The first part is as you might think. Intense pain, and the foot and part of the lower leg becomes crimson and black and swells up. I was out in the wilderness, so getting medical care seemed a complex and technical operation. I didn't want any drama or bother anyone. Since the snake was quite unlikely to have been a Black Mamba, I wasn't worried. So I opted for wait and see. In the end I rested for some days, until I could walk again, and then I went home. I recovered, but never "fully". The leg became stiff in strange ways and remained thicker than the other leg. It's fine these days, but the ankle is still thicker than on the other leg. (Also, I've had problems with small, itching wounds, but I'm not sure it's connected to the snake bite. Long walks and cortisone creme helps). Going back in time - and avoiding any bad, volatile period - would you rather live in ancient Egypt or Rome?

Going back in time - and avoiding any bad, volatile period - would you rather live in ancient Egypt or Rome? Back in the day i used to be a pro at picking up all kinds of insects including spiders.....recently i found a few wolf spiders in the house and they was pretty huge...i think i'm a bit rusty tho as i tried to pick this one up but somehow he ended up biting me...thankfully tho i know wolf spider bites aren't dangerous to humans....they are pretty harmless tho....you can let them walk on your hand freely and they won't bite...this one only bit me because it felt threatened..... Rome or Egypt?...easily for me since i'm black...Egypt....back then maybe i could have been a king or some type of person of royalty....yeah i know there were poor Egyptians and all that, but eh, a black person living in Rome back then...yeah i'm taking a big "L"...on that one....Those Egyptian goddesses was probably walking around with incredible boo-tays back then too.. ..and it helps that these guys was cutting edge engineers back then when they was creating those pyramids.....*flexes*..... With that said...Burger King or McDonalds?....

With that said...Burger King or McDonalds?.... Hamburgers don't play a terribly big part in my life, but: McDonalds. Many reasons. I used to prefer Burger King, but that has changed. Given the particular restaurants I used to sometimes visit, McDonalds have improved greatly , while I started to link feeling not so well with visits to Burger King. The final straw, or nail in the coffin, was when Burger King supported political violence in Britain. They can go f*** themselves. Not that I live in Britain or that the Burger King employees or franchise takers are guilty for what one idiot marketing person did, but I got to take a stand against fascism. And besides, as I've already said, I don't think they're good anymore while I've started to like and enjoy McDonalds. Cost being no issue, would you rather have a mechanical wrist watch or a quartz watch?

I wouldn't have a real preference but probalby quartz. Nothing too fancy or expensive though, I have a tendency to lose or wreck watches.

I'd rather lose my ability to speak, I like music too much to sacrifice my hearing but I don't speak much and I often don't feel like I have to share my thoughts. Would you rather travel by ship (small fishing vessel) or by plane if both kinds of travel would take you equally long and would offer you the same comforts?

I would like to say boat as I assume it would be the more eco-friendly way to travel but I get seasick sooo easily, so I'd have to go with plane.

Would you rather have an awesome talent and never get recognition for it or become famous for doing something totally stupid? I definitely choose the talent, since that situation is already somewhat familiar to me. I do have a skill that is basically an awesome talent -I think-, but I enjoy it a lot and that is what counts for me. Now doing stupid things for other people is just really stupid. I think having a true talent is the most valuable thing you can possibly have in your life. Would you rather spend 7 days in a deep-sea underwater habitat exploring the bottom of the ocean or spend the same amount of days in the ISS space station, with one spacewalk?

Absolutely the deep sea! We need to find that alien base down there. Which aliens will most likely invade earth: insectoids or tentacle aliens? Neither. First of all, if any aliens, hostile to Mankind or Earth life, wanted to take over the Earth, I wouldn't expect a military style invasion. I would expect them to sterilize the Earth with some kind of super-lethal virus. (Maybe they've already tried that a couple of times? HIV? And are continuing research? ) Secondly, I would expect aliens, interested in possessing Earth, to have internal skeleton, just like us and other Earth vertebrates. The reason is pure physics: While it's hopefully known that the primary factor limiting the size of insects on Earth is their breathing system, that is not the only thing limiting their size. If there were more Oxygen in the air, they could be bigger, yes, but still not substantially big. Structures do not scale. The strength β any kind of strength β of anything is proportional to the square of its size. But the weight, mass, inertia, of anything is proportional to the cube of its size. Structures, creatures, lacking rigid support components, relying only on internal pressures to form a support for weights, are severely disadvantaged. Simply weak. Thus we see only very small such creatures, like worms, maggots, caterpillars, hydras, or such creatures being supported by being immersed in liquid. Ever saw an Octopus run away? External rigid skeleton is better, but for mobile structures still disadvantaged in terms of strength to weight ratios. Working inside the supporting structure, leverage is poor and the rigid structure needs to be much beefier. Not only is only a small portion of it, instead of all, working against the contraction force against each levering force, but it also needs to withstand the resulting stresses that would collapse it. The Coconut crab is probably on the size limit for a creature with external skeleton, living on land. And it doesn't exactly hop merrily along, does it? Big insectoid aliens, as well as tentacle aliens, are of course theoretically possible on very low gravity worlds. But landing on Earth would probably then be lethal for them, and in any case extremely uncomfortable. Would you rather live out your life on Earth? Or participate in the perils of colonizing a distant world? (We're assuming FTL travel here, and also a suitable planet found around some distant star.) You won't ever be able to come back.

One hundred percent living on earth. I love stories about space, but mostly the ones where there's an established and functional civilization already in place. I'm not exclusively a city girl--I've done quite a lot of camping, but I'm enough of one to savor the creature comfort of city convenience and activity. I'm so not built for prolonged time in the wilderness, even less for trying to tame it as a colonist must.
Would you rather only be able to wear synthetic industrial fabric, like stiff polyester, or exclusively be able to wear delicate silk?

Oh, my supple skin needs the decadence of only the most delicate silks caressing it. Would you rather only be able to clean yourself with soup (not soap) OR have the combined powers of the Fantastic Four but only in your genitals?
