IIRC, there was a comment on the forums that the alpha test was run on an earlier slice of the game, based on a console build (i.e. not optimized for m+kb) … and should not be something to base an opinion on, with respect to current game or a build for PC (m+kb).

I'm not quoting, just paraphrasing, so I may have mangled some of the words a bit. However I think that gets to the heart of what they said … without breaking an NDA, natch.

@benirvo Only just noticed your accent, you’re Australian! Same! Just a query, hope you don’t take offence to it. The rangers ability explosions seem to be less explosive in today’s stream then what has been seen in earlier trailers. Can we expect bigger stuff on pc at launch? Ty

There are many abilities so it’s hard to say if you are comparing the same things, also depends how close to the camera the explosions are etc. today’s is the latest build of anything we have shown though

@benirvo Today in the stream you mentioned a Storm detonating a frozen enemy chains the frozen condition to other, nearby enemies. Does this mean that the newly-frozen enemies simply suffer the frozen status effect, or could they be detonated by other allies' combos?

If you mean HUD, I think there are some configuration settings for what's seen on screen, but I don't know if you can remove everything from the screen. Maybe just make some things smaller?

I got the impression that the story part had save slots just not the Mp portion much like MMO's

I have a really dumb question that I'm sure has been answered but i have not been following the game as much as others in the past.

Loot laying around. Is it 1st come 1st serve as in which ever player gets there first gets the loot or does everyone get the same stuff along the lines of dragon age mp?

This is what makes me shake my head at PCMR. Such entitlement. I want muh 21:9 4K 120fps or EA sucks! STFU. What are the rest of us supposed to do with those extra pixels? Or do you want them to include both 16:9 and 21:9 pre-renders, bloating everyone's downloads?

It's also pretty ironic that many games (RDR2 and NieR Automata, to name two) have adopted the addition of black bars to purposely add a cinematic effect. The bars appear only when they want the game to look like a movie.

Legendary Contracts are repeatable, dynamic, endgame content which takes you out into the world to satisfy certain objectives. They are hella difficult.
(Non legendary) Contracts are given to you earlier as an attempt to train you.

@benirvo I thought I heard that as long as the storm has a shield that they can fly indefinitely. Once the shield is gone then they have to land. Can you clarify or explain?

We have changed some things. Right now. If you hover you get better DR on your shields. If your shields run out or if hover runs out, you lose the extra DR
