Had a very good duo game with a Cabal and my krogansol lat night.
Then had a gruesome fail duo with a juggy shortly after and I was using the sexbot. The juggy was driving me crazy during devices as I'd run to the device and start it up and he would lumber over and stand right next to me, trying to be helpful but he had no dex shield and all he did was attract legions of geth bombers who would swoop in and bomb the shit out of me.
I had a short solo game this am to finish up my over the counter grab farming. Good ole FBDagger, reapers, silver.

Yep, that's pretty much it. I didn't feel like my connection would hold out across the pond and didn't want to leave you guys hanging in another Platinum. Of course, you, Bucka and Quantized can handle anything the game throws at you, I just wasn't confident about more than a match or two in Budapest (or relative proximity). Team Scum (sure, use Khar'shan if you want), still managed to brutalize the enemies. I was happy to get away with elbowing some banshees. Khar'shan shall rise again! With elbows!

Perhaps you'll answer this time? Doc, are you using the controller mod too? Or did you go with the standard mouse+kb set up on PC ME3? Mouse+kb, cuz I am a scrub who likes his 20HS medal...

Khar'shan shall rise again! With elbows! Stop tempting me! Bladed armor or Lash... what to chose, what to chose... it's like an epitome of badassness topped with badasstitude and presented by a badass. Woe is me, I need an ME:MP fix.

The future looks good. Docsteely should send me the time co-ordinates for that match. Perhaps you'll answer this time? Yeah, Origin is weird. I'm online all the time, but there's nothing to let you know you missed a msg unless you open the Origin window. When on PS3 I toggle my HDTV between PS3 & PC (like right now I was just synced in a match so killing time here).

My permanent Justicar build. Yeah man, I was involved in a couple of Reave Wars myself. Good times. And at the risk of re-opening those wounds, 6a goes better with an Acolyte, 6b goes better with a Drell I also have to say a power amp on the Acolyte works better than the extended mag, because MOAR REAVE! Stack it, baby! (Another reason why 6a is better - the extra duration is redundant as everything's already dead.) Thanks docsteely for the compliment. I do love playing the Justicar as she's one of the characters that bleeds through so nicely from the SP campaign. I adore Samara, and remember snorting with laughter when she asked for a room on the Normandy from where she could gaze into The Void, and then again when Zaeed tried to hit on her at the party. The Code of the Justicar must be obeyed, and I've clocked at least 2000 waves with her, trying to fine tune my approach. I'm not an elite level player by any stretch of the imagination, but I know the game mechanics pretty well. Through a fair amount of testing I concluded that the 66455 build listed above, with the two slight tweaks, is the best she can be IF you decide to make the Acolyte your weapon of choice. It's not subjective, it's mathematical. As you've seen, playing with a Biotic team she can be pretty impressive, and the Cryo ammo I mentioned is always intended to add to everyone's fun, up to Gold anyway. I saw Sonashii 's post mentioning both the Acolyte and Harrier and had the same reaction as xelander , which is to say you really don't need the Harrier. It seems the cheeky young pup is resistant to change, and even linked me to a Drell build with an Acolyte and Pull, which was almost like being taunted by deliberate stupidity. I mean, I don't claim to be an expert with the Drell, but I know that if there's even the slightest chance that I'm going to be loitering around waiting for a weapon to charge up before I fire it, I will expect it to BOOM SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE THE ROOM at the very least, although I personally prefer the Talon and Grenade Gear usually.

Stack it, baby! (Another reason why 6a is better - the extra duration is redundant as everything's already dead.) Yeah I messed that up. I use the power amp too...not extended mag. I normally only get a couple shots off anyway before reload cancelling into another Reave. So extended mag would be pointless for my rhythm. What I love about Reave 6b - turns her into a Plat-viable tank...without a Cyclonic. And the armor/barrier damage with a power amp/6b combo is quite similar to the damage with a cyclonic/6a combo. (I'm not good enough to do a power amp/6a combo and stay upright on Plat) EDIT: got my Reave 6a/6b mixed up. So wasted, I guess

Well, well, well mr GruntKitterhand. I AM a cheeky young pup which you called me. I started to play MP like only 7 months ago and sure, I know almost nothing about legendary wars you guys had. There's that. Second thing, I didn't want to offend you. I put that link to show you that I already have a character who can do stuff you described. I don't need two characters doing the same thing. And I suppose everyone have a different playstyle right? On that I shall end my Justicar topic, thanks

It's hard not to come across as patronizing when you've played as much as I have, but it wasn't my intention. Everyone does have a different playstyle, and is of course entitled to it, but there are some mathematical facts which come into play when discussing optimal builds, and you kinda brought a knife to a gun fight with that Drell build, because he can do other stuff better, while the Justicar does the things you seem to like better than him. And you really don't need that Harrier, but it's ok, I was young and stubborn too once. budhalen - excellent point regarding Plat.

Also for reave use effectiveness against armor and barriers instead damage and duration We'll agree to disagree on that one, though I admit my preference might be partly just to differentiate between my Drell and Justicar. I've tested the Justicar to OCD proportions, so I know which works best for me, but I suspect my relative scrub status with the Drell needs the extra DR.

Yeah, if I didn't take Reave max DR, my Drell wouldn't make it off the shuttle before "eime woonded!" I've always taken rank 4 damage over radius for cluster nades. Figured rank 6 for the extra third cluster chunk was already giving me extra 'radius'. Now I'm thinking I should edit that. They're more for BE combos than pure damage anyway, and they go wherever the hell they want...radius could definitely help.

Team Scum (sure, use Khar'shan if you want), still managed to brutalize the enemies. I was happy to get away with elbowing some banshees. My favorite is when you knock over this phantom like a second hand bike. Edit: scrolling back the thread I see this already made to the highlight reel .

I don't know how much lag we'll have being so far away but I'll give it a go either way and see how it goes! same for accepting Deal. High: Some very nice games with inert , Aragorn89 and Sonashii : Thanks again for the games, guys! We started with one U/U/G, which turned out to be Rio/Geth - no problem, full extraction, under 20 min (on Rio!). After that we turned to U/U/P and the first one was a very enjoyable White/Reapers - again full extraction. Low: The next one turned out to be Glacier/Geth. I love Geth on Platinum if I can punish them with my Kroguard , for the rest I find them a nightmare, because staggerlock (that is why they need to be punished)... Still, as I was playing a QFI it wasn't so bad, but somehow (read drone stagger) I managed to get grabbed with 10s to go on extraction wave... . High: The next game was again Geth(!) but on Reactor Hazard and I managed to cook me some Sonashii (of course revived after, but still tasty ). Mission successful, extracted, fun, but kind of tiring... Low: Was getting tired (I am down with a cold), so I had to cut it short after the last game which was Highest: Take back Palaven! We did, as promised, Condor/Reapers and we managed a mission successful (partial extraction). A nice way to finish my gaming day, especially as I took Major Kirrahe out for a walk...

High: after getting a little tired of trying to solo platinum, I went back to gold pugland yesterday and decided to had some fun. Meet Blackgas, we had a really good host and we brutalized Cerberus as smashbros on Ghost. Before that, we showed the world the power of vanguards, him as smashguard, me as drellgod. After I had to leave, I came back some time after and decided to host a few games of my own. Went for setups a little less powerful than I usually run. My asari vanguard picked up her Disciple, but sadly, she was deployed with a bunch of newbs to FB Glacier and the one time she left the High Lord back home, she rued the day, because Cerberus are notorious scumbags and the mission ended in failure. Then the drelldept picked up his trusty Graal, we revisited Glacier and paid Cerberus back with dividends Mission successful and much fun was had, as phantoms were skewered with spikes with extreme prejudice and sent flying. Last game of the night, I finally decided to give Acolyte justicar a try. Didn't went too crazy, chose cryo ammo, but when you're playing against Reapers in the tight confines of White, with two very capable ACAs(hello Fuen, sorry I had to leave, but it was time to hit the hay), well, it certainly isn't a challenging game by any measure That turian havoc we had along for the ride certainly had an easy time. I can certainly see the appeal of this setup. I think I actually enjoy the old gal more with Acolyte than I do with Arc, though I still struggle with Acolyte's charge mechanic at times. And I imagine Grunt was facepalming yesterday a lot, without even knowing why I was derping a lot and the old gal wasn't performing nearly as well as she does in his capable hands, but fun was had and I think that's all I can ask for. I will certainly try her again and am looking forward to our duo Lows: none, really. Despite an occasional failure, much fun was had.
