Question, lets say someone wants to buy a motif, that only drops in a dlc area but they only have the base game. Would that person be able to buy it and learn it?

I don't think there are limitations as to whether people without DLCs can or can't acquire a motif - you should be able to buy/trade it from other players, either directly via trade or mail option or buy the motif in guild store.

Okay, cool. I was always unsure on that in the past and shied away from buying anything from guild stores.

So my tank character is level 14 so I thought this would be a good time to dunk into Cyrodil, get Warhorn, and get out xD
Entered Kyne, and I'm guessing because it's prime Aussie time and it's Kyne my latency is still 340, only a 20 increase. Nice. Did the first quest, have hit level 2 in Alliance, need 2 more levels. This is going perfectly :3
… I don't know how to get out of Cyrodil but I'll get to that later xD

Defeated a delve boss :3 I feel like an authentic PVPer already xD
Spent a lot of money on repair equipment and did 2 scouting missions. That netted me 4,000 of the 22,000 I need … this will take a while xD

I wish I had the will to return to the game again.
I look at builds in guides and they are or so damn demanding or most of the time don't fit my playstyle so in the end I end with don't knowing what to do, get bored and don't for another year. And I have all morrowind and summerset yet still to play.

Spent the past half an hour trying to get into the Imperial City xD Must need some kind of super advanced witchcraft to find the entrance or something You won't have to worry about it for too long Elsweyr Update will introduce changes to that next week - Imperial City will have its own server, separate from Cyro's map. You'll be able to enter it the way you enter the campaign.

If you just want to overland and do normal dungeons and stuff, I don't think you need to go for the top builds I have a lot of fun with groups just bumbling around normal dungeons xD People didn't seem too demanding in the normal dungeons. In fact, I think in half those groups the tanks wasn't actually a tank and we cleared just fine

It actually took me about half an hour to figure out how to transport from keep to keep That change, with the Imperial City having its own server, will be very welcome. If I get back i'll wait for elswyr expansion to come. although by that time also comes the expansion for FFXIV and that is a MMO that I play regularly XD.

I'm level 30 now, and I've never spoken to another player on this game at all. There are places in the world where there are tough battles, and usually when I find those quests, there are other people there too, so you can all just whomp on something and you'll all get credit and loot for it. You never need to say a word, so I like that. The only thing that I'll say that I really dislike is the need for a Trade Guild to sell higher ticket items and make good gold. I really think that's annoying and wish they just had an auction house for all players. Now I have to spend some time trying to find a Trade Guild that isn't going to charge me a ton every week just to list things, especially because I'm a lower level character and don't have too much that anyone would pay a lot for. I think that's dumb and unnecessary, and I'd rather fence more stuff, however there is a limit to how much you can fence every day. edit: don't know what happened with this formatting...seriously wtf?

I think I should try to think that is a "single player" elder scrolls and do my own thing, I think that way perhaps I could stay and play longer the game. Thats basically how I play it. I do my own thing and build to what is fun for me. I tried in the past to build to what is the meta for a particular class but it killed a lot of the enjoyment for me. Stopped playing for months and came back a while ago and said screw it building for me and made a stamina based nightblade that that runs bows on both bars.

Heh, completely changed my userID so it no longer contains any numbers. That will confuse my guild leader and the ... *takes a look* 2 people I have on my friends list xD yeah, all the subreddit was pissed about it. let's see if they add a new class in a middle of the in between patches (like ninja and blue mage) before the next expansion the only thing I never liked is that all my favorite classes are tank and I hate tanking, bot oh well, i got used to it in the end. I don't like pet classes, and it seems to me AST is similar to WHM except with slightly less powerful heals and with a mechanism to buff the whole party, so I feel like I have one option as a healer (AST). Would like SE to make WHM relevant again so I could play 2 In comparison I'm loving all 3 tanks, they're all pretty different and fun And when gunblade gets here I'm sure I'll love all 4 tanks :3 I love healing but it could really use some attention

WHM and DRK are two classes that mostly need it. as for gunblade, i'm really eager to try it out, wanted that class for so long, my only desire left is garlean legatus armor for cool badass aesthetics.

Depends to whom - I've already killed two dragons I hope the new area is as lovely to explore and live in as the Summerset area is. Summerset is pretty much the hub I always travel back to :3 IMO, ESO world/map builders have been quite excellent in designing zones for quite some time, so I think it depends how you find the cultural and aesthetic path they've chosen for the Khajiiti - I'm someone who appreciates various different middle Eastern and far Eastern cultures and so I enjoy when I see worlds closely inspired by them. Needless to say, so far I'm having a blast. I adore how this map looks and especially the dramatic architecture. I'm also quite glad that they've chosen to insert dragons - which in TES world we associate with Skyrim - into a very different climate and story.

The soundtrack is also absolutely glorious, my favorite yet.

I envy you guys, I really do. You get a new DLC every year for this game. How many years has it been since the release? you keep getting content with each new year.
If only Bethesda Softworks would support their own SP FO/ES games like this, but of course there's no money to be made that way. I mean there is, but not as much as if they were live services.
I wish I liked ESO and I was up for that. I wouldn't have to wait a decade between games.
