Yennefer, of course. Cool, beautiful and gets her hands dirty so you don't have to. Yeah - she was my second choice. Triss is very nice n'all but the decline from master manipulator in TW2 to high school tittering in TW3 sent her down in my estimation. |

At first I was team Triss but then I defected to team Yennefer. She gets the job done no matter what. If those villagers didn't want there sacred garden destroyed maybe they shouldn't have exiled an innocent man.

Yen, She's intelligent, powerful, loving to the ones who know her and gets shit done....plus she makes wolf puns!
She would go through hell and back for those she cares about (Geralt and ciri), for good or ill. Now that's someone I would want on my side. Triss? I can't look past what she did in the books, which I have no desire to get into at the moment and I sure as hell don't like what she did in the games, it was gross imo. My close second choice would've been Shani who is another intelligent lady, kind and is someone who actually hasn't manipulated Geralt. She was my witcher 1 romance that I wish could've ended better in the witcher 3. but yen all the way.  |

To be fair she did try to end the conversation before it got out of hand, but no Geralt couldn't let it go.  I feel like I probably felt the same initially, and that's interesting that you noticed the distinction between your response and Geralt's. I think for me that's what changed in my second playthrough, I focused more on how Geralt interacts with the world and less how on I was trying to roleplay him. What I came to realize (in my opinion at least) is that Geralt can be quite the little bitch himself, the "wit" never ends, he's always trying to get that next jab in, a lot of the time Yennefer initiates true but not always. Really to me he didn't seem all that different than Yennefer in that regard just his style is of a passive aggressive variety. That's when I decided that they deserved each other. LOL. |
