You're allergic to chocolate..?  oh... that must be sad... I think chocolate and dairy would be two of the worst food allergies out there. oh and strawberries and coffee.  you poor person, do you miss it? I thought so at first. Now though don't really miss it much anymore. I just moved on to mixing sour cream in everything: spaghetti, pizza, cheeseburgers, broccoli, tangerines, ribs, steak, hotdogs, turkey, chicken ect.

Sour cream works. It's also great with tacos and chili, and if you add some vanilla, lemon juice and sugar it makes a great dip for strawberries or you can pour it over vanilla ice cream.  |

But if there was two things I missed about chocolate -it would be Kit-Kat bars and Reeses cups.

Oh, another one I just thought of, when I visit my parents for Christmas, I always bring along Li-Lac chocolate I originally started the tradition because I was looking for someone to make a chocolate Lady Liberty and they were the only ones I could find:  But we kept it up since they have lot's of ther (more normal and more weird) stuff as well and everyone really loves their chocolate. It's expensive but it is dam good. If you are ever looking for a nice bring-along gift from NYC, keep them in mind. |

Good choco is always dark, never white and if possible not too sweet. Tho if it is marzipan in thin slice coated in darc choco I absolve sweetness.

North Carolina, apparently, like Alaska, has plenty of black bears. But I can't recall hearing any stories about Alaskan bears, black or grizzly, breaking into a car and specifically stealing chocolate. Maybe there have, I don't know. These North Carolina bears know what the good stuff is:

Surprisingly delicious actually and it also hit me pretty fast. I felt it in just 20 minutes or so. The mint hides the smell very well, just don't eat too much of it. I think 1/4 of a piece might even be too much for me. It is VERY potent. |
