If it's a bear, I hope it's an actual, clawed, hibernates-in-winter bear. Why not both?
Bear werebear for LI!
Except he's a bear for most of the month and only transforms into a hairy dude during the full moon.

Plus, you get the cutsey "werebear" moniker to go with it.

I'm not even really joking. It's a more interesting character hook than we got with anyone in Inquisition, tbh.

I know it's a limitation of the character creator, but it's a little distracting once you realise that default male Hawke is a super-hairy dude, yet he lacks any kind of body hair whatsoever. Also it's amusing to realise that pretty much every fan-artist mentally fills his missing body hair back in when they draw Hawke shirtless. This is the canon amount of hair he has. Fite me BW.

Where do otters fit in that triangle? Bearish twink, I would say. Or possibly twinkish bear. And "bearish hunk" likewise should be labelled "wolf", if we're going to use the OFFICIAL nomenclature.

The only one I'm not sure about is exactly what a "hunk" is and how that compares as a third category on its own*. But as far as the rest, there is bear and twink, and everything is just a spectrum -- a rainbow, if you will -- between those.
* To my mind, this exists as the perfect balance of twink and bear, but that's not what the chart shows.

My understanding is that bears = like to eat while hunk = likes the gym. Of course, one can enjoy both activities, in theory.

That pyramid IS a tad confusing, I would have done one of those dot graphs with an axis for lean - chunky and another for hairless - hairy.

I actually think it's pretty good because it clearly shows how some types are a blend. You just have to know what the categories mean while looking at it. It needs a map key, in other words.

Hmmm, I think a bearish hunk or all the way to Bunk might be my go-to for a romance option. I like a guy with hair but in good shape too.

If we go by the chart (and not the common usage - bear describing everything from bear to bearish hunk), then a hunkish bear or bunk please. That big guy soft middle look is what guys often end up with from hard physical work. Which is perfectly acceptable for Thedas. Also, I've been waiting for this to be relevant for a while

So is this the lesbian equivalent? Not exactly, I don't suppose - since it addresses personality more than body type.

Would you want an opportunity to cure him - and if presented, would you do it? Nope. It's not the direction I want that story to go. I vastly prefer the "helping to accept being a werewolf" story, if for no other reason than werewolf (and other monster) stories very often having a strong gay subtext. Which, for obvious reasons, makes coming to peace with lycanthropy much more satisfying. Skyrim was disappointing in that regards. Two werewolf brothers and you have to "cure" them before you can start a romance? At least there are mods. Also, werewolves are fantastic, why would you ever want to stop being one. Look at one run. I bet Solas, despite his fancy magic, can't run like this. 1-0 werewolves-elves
