I feel this would help people understand Flashpoint a little better and the little icon that appears on your screen when proc. With 200+ Cunning this is great as triggers every 10 seconds guaranteed. You have to remember two things when playing with 2 (or more) Elementalists in a team 1. You will see each others Flashpoint icon on your screen (your personal Flashpoint may not be ready yet) 2. Your icon may disappear when the other Elementalist uses their ability (you WILL still have Flashpoint as it's only the little icon that's removed from the screen) VERY IMPORTANT: If you have 200+ Cunning you can just count to 10 in your head for the timing as that's what I got used to doing as Elementalists were everywhere when I was doing my 250 completions.
Yup! Won't leave home without it!!!

I don't remember exactly but I think Luke (or was it someone else?) said something it causes problems in the game. (ask someone else for details ) As far as I understood it, the reason was not they are too stupid or did not want to give it to us it was a technical problem. Anyway, they could have made a nice new fire staff.

Anyway, they could have made a nice new fire staff. Honestly, anything remotely technical was almost always posted by Luke. And anything passive-aggressive was posted by Blar. According to Luke: "[Heart of Rage] wasn't added for visual reasons if all 4 party members had one." That's as detailed as the details got. Sucks that the end-game for mages is pretty much lightning damage.

I would have loved a staff that alternated damage type. Not sure how it would work. Possibly switch type after the final basic attack combo or a certain number of hits (so attack cancelling couldn't reset damage type counter ) Obviously would be a pain to program since it is completely unique to any other weapons but man, it would have been fun.

They probably could have done it with Virtuoso. After each song, the basic attack will take on a different type of damage. Hot Lick -> Fire Cold Beat -> Frost Power Chord -> Electric Mark of the Rift -> Physical!

They could have done a lot more and I assume BW wanted but money pressure and deadline from EA, better to bring a game on the market fast than make it great. but nice Idea for Zither but Physical damage for a mage would be too good
