I may be only a layman and not understand intricate forum game concepts, but if you can post as much as you want, why is there a restriction of adding only 1 or 2 per post? It makes no sense. For all intents and purposes, consider me having posted 5 times.

Another rule is no posting more than once per hour so you have to be really dedicated to keep coming back hour after hour for five hours to get five boosts.
I guess the idea is to get an idea of what people like and dislike by letting them compete. If they are super-dedicated to boosting regularly someone else might be equally dedicated to downgrading or boosting their own.
However, if the rules go out the window then one person can just hack the numbers to pieces and come up with any totals they want in a single post. IMO, that would make the whole thing pointless to allow that.
It's just a bit of fun at the end of the day. It wasn't designed to be discussion thread.

Hey, I'm all in favor of rules. Institutionalisation is what separates us from hitting each other over the head with a rock. But if the rules are ungrounded and simply favor the maniacal with the loudest voice, well... 'murica.
