They should have a multiplayer where you control helpless nugs. There’s no fighting whatsoever, but you are let loose in this large map filled with vicious predators that you can only run or hide from. You have to search out valuable resources like rare minerals and treasures, but if you get caught by a monster, you get sent back to a starting area. They change up the predators every week or so, alternating between wolves, spiders, dragonlings, vargests and ghasts. Each present unique ways of finding and killing you. But the awards can be used to dress up your nug in goofy sweaters, hats, jewelry, ribbons and tattoos, which will be available for RL currency. And whenever the PC returns to base, their nug will be there wearing whatever outfit they have earned in MP. ... I’m only partly joking. You had me at hats!

I can't say that having a nug catching and breeding mechanic/minigame, along with outfits for them, would necessarily turn off certain segments of the fanbase, considering how popular Pokemon and Chocobos are.

I continue to have no opinion on the "Will DA4 be live service?????!?!?!?!" debate since, y'know, I have nothing substantial to look at. It feels silly to me to argue over stuff like this when there is literally no concrete evidence of what the game's gonna look like, only conspiracy theories and speculation and "Well that game looked kinda like this, so...." At this point, it's a topic that can only boil down to "Nuh uh!" and "Yeah huh!" as arguments.
Like, I'm not even pointing at anyone and going "You're right/wrong." I just think it's ridiculous to make such certain, impassioned statements on something that does not even exist yet.

You're basically right, although I'll note we do have one example of a live service game produced by BioWare.
I'll give you a hint what it is: its name rhymes with Blandthumb, it's centred around Tony Stark assaulting the same three strongholds over and over on a undercooked alien world, and it evolved from a whiteboard with the words "Jetpack + Guns" written on it to a collection of Reddit posts about shitty loot drops.
Given that sort of track record, one can be forgiven for a little apprehension.

The only "live service" game I have experience with is The Sims, which is has basically no online/multiplayer aspects. And even though it's a very different type of game you can transfer some of the key features: sell base game, make money with additions, be it whole expansions or just cometic items.
What worries me about this is that it might lead to a very bare-bone main game with only fully fleshed out stories if you play the DLCs, a bit like what many people think happened with Trespasser, just this time intentional and on a more regular basis. Because what are the biggest incentives for the average DA player to spend money? Stories, characters, a world to explore? All these things could be sold seperately, providing an additional revenue. They have done that in the past, noticed they can squeeze more money out of the players this way and now want to expand on it. It's just called "live service" because it sounds nicer than "pay extra".

While BioWare can jump in any number of ways I can almost gurantee the several directions they won't jump, and while all I have really is speculation the negativity surrounding stuff that hasn't even been announced is...bizarre. But as we can see this negativity can spread and may ultimatley effect perceptions and even sales in the end. So, it is worth it to point to the more dramatic naysayers and say 'relax it may not be this bad'. Probably won't actually.

Bioware spending so much time making a looter shooter caused this level of apprehension. There was some apprehension before DAI, especially because DA2 was so rushed, but not at the same level as now.

Between DA2 and of course the ME3 ending debacle, the apprehension towards DAI is about the same if not worse then it is now.

Of course. Kieren could be one if you play a Dwarf Warden and romance Morrigan. So humans and dwarves are compatible. Then there are elves who are compatible with other races but the children are always the other race, created elf-blooded individuals like Alistair, Feynriel, Slim, etc. Instead of a human parent, it is a dwarven one.

I don't read up a whole lot about the lore, but are there half dwarves? Who are they compatible with in that way? Humans and dwarves can have half-dwarf children. Word of God says they're somewhere between the two in height. The only one we can meet in game so far is Kieran in world states where the Warden was a male dwarf who slept with Morrigan. (He doesn't look any different than he does in other world states, but there are various reasons Kieran might be a special case.)
The offspring of a dwarf and an elf will be a dwarf, just like the offspring of a human and an elf is a human. It's possible that Sandal is one such dwarf. We don't really know what's going on there, but there are in-universe rumours that his mother was eleven or human.
It's not known at this stage if the qunari (by which I mean the giant people with the horns, not adherents of the philosophy) can interbreed with any of the other races at all.
